"You know... I've never killed an Auran before."
The Auran clutched at his side where the javelin was sticking out. Though, oddly, he didn't seem to react much to it.
"I'm quite interested in seeing what color you bleed..."
"You never have...and you NEVER. WILL!" The man sounded more aware than before, the madness in his voice gone, and he clutched the shaft of the javelin. Immediately it went up in flames and disintegrated. He raises his hand to the sky and the magic around him swelled up. The orb atop the demon gate began to slowly swirl. Then, seemingly from the sun itself, a spiral of flames came rushing down. It twisted and split into a half dozen canine-shaped forms as they all came down towards Lindow.
"No you don't." Damien growled, from next to the Auran, as he drew his blade to slice the man in two.
"Stop!" Keres cried out, and, using her water, dragged the swordsman backwards.
"The hell?" He exclaimed as the water left him and returned to Keres. The mage merely pointed at the Auran.
Who was laughing. He grabbed his cloak and tore it from his body and they would all see what was underneath. Flames. Fire, covering his body, flickering hungrily.
"From the eternal sun I draw forth infernal flames. With my words I give my body to the fire. In order to bathe this land in flames and burn everything in its path. Outlawed magic, Self-Immolation, I call upon you."
The swirling mass of flames above them then moved, funneling into the man's body. Which, as they watched, burnt away into nothing while the flames grew.
Before long all that could be seen of the man was parts of his skeleton, surrounded by an unnatural flame.
The Fire Elemental let out a crackling hiss as it swept its arm at Damien. The man was struck by the flames and sent tumbling away and flames began to cover his body.
The creature now measured ten feet tall and the heat coming from it as it leaned towards Lindow was even more intense than the desert itself.
