Silent Archetype, Completing the RPG deck (written)

Probably my favorite series/archtype of cards that were introduced in the original duel monsters would boil down to three sets of cards: the Kuriboh archetype, the orichalchos archetype (which currently I'm drawing blanks of how I can make those cards really new or interesting), and the Silent archetype that small Yugi used in the final arch of the original series. While I was super hyped when they announced the new Silent Swordsman and Magician and their respective support spells, when they finally revealed the details about Silent Paladin, it left a little bit to be desired (with so many things wrong with how they designed a card that could have had potential in my opinion). So I thought I'd go into the Card Creator and whip up some support of what I think could be a really cool archetype. Let me know what you guys think :)

Silent Thief Lv. 4

Lv. 4 Light Warrior-type 1000/1000

This card is also treated as a Spellcaster-type monster while face-up on the field. Your opponent cannot chain Spell Cards to this card's effects. When your opponent sets a card or summons a monster, place 1 Spell counter on this card (max 4). This card gains 500 atk for each Spell counter on it. When this card with 4 Spell counters is on the field during the Standby Phase, you can tribute this card to special summon 1 "Silent Rougue Lv. 8" from your hand, deck, or graveyard. 

 

Silent Thief Lv 8

Lv. 8 Light Warrior-type 3000/1000

This card cannot be Normal Summoned/set. This card can only be special summoned by the effect of "Silent Rogue Lv. 4" and cannot be special summoned by other ways. Your opponent cannot activate set Spell Cards.

 

Silent Thief

Lv. 4 Light Warrior-type 1000/1000

This card cannot be Normal Summoned/set. This card must be special summoned (from the hand) by tributing 1 Light attributed "Silent" monster and cannot be special summoned by other ways. This card gains 500 atk for each card on the field. Once per turn, during either player’s turn, when a Spell Card is activated: You can activate this effect; negate that activation. If this card is destroyed by battle, or this card in its owner’s control is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect: You can activate this effect; Special Summon 1 “Silent Thief” monster from your hand, Deck,  or graveyard, except “Silent Thief”, ignoring the Summoning Conditions.

 

Silent Cleric Lv. 4

Lv. 4 Light Spellcaster-type 1000/1000

While Face-up on the field, this card is also treated as a Warrior-type Monster. Each time you draw a card(s) or gain Life Points, place 1 Spell counter on this card (max 4). This card gains 500 atk for each spell counter on it. During the Standby Phase, you can tribute this card with 4 Spell Counters on it to special summon 1 "Silent Cleric Lv. 8" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

 

Silent Cleric Lv. 8

Lv. 8 Light Spellcaster-type 3200/1000

This card cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. This card cannot be special summoned, except by the effect of "Silent Cleric Lv. 4". Once per turn, you can activate this effect, gain 1000 life points. This card is unaffected by the effects of your opponent's Spell Cards. 

 

Silent Cleric

Lv. 4 Light Spellcaster-type 1000/1000

This card cannot be Normal Summoned/set. This card must be special summoned (from the hand) by tributing 1 Light attributed "Silent" monster and cannot be special summoned by other ways. This card gains 500 atk during each End Phase. Once per turn, during either player’s turn, when a Spell Card is activated: You can activate this effect; negate that activation. If this card is destroyed by battle, or this card in its owner’s control is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect: You can activate this effect; Special Summon 1 “Silent Cleric” monster from your hand, Deck,  or graveyard, except “Silent Cleric”, ignoring the Summoning Conditions.

 

Silent Bard

Lv. 4 Light Spellcaster-type 1500/500

While this card is face-up on the field, it is also treated as a Warrior-type monster. When this card is Normal Summoned, You can add 1 Light attributed "Silent" monster that can be normal summoned from your deck to your hand. If a Spell card is activated that targets exactly 1 card on your side of the field (and no other cards), you can negate that cards activation. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field. If this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, You can activate 1 of the following effects:

1. Add 1 Light attributed "Silent" monster or 1 "Sage of Silence" from your graveyard to your hand.

2. Return 1 of your banished "Silent" Quick-play Spell cards to the graveyard, but you cannot activate it's effects this turn.

 

Silent Dragon of Destruction, Gandora

Lv. 10 Light Dragon-type ?/0

This card cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. This card must be special summoned (from the hand) by tributing 3 Light attributed "Silent" monsters. This cards summon cannot be negated. This card is unaffected by other card effects. When this card is summoned, shuffle all cards on the field into the respective owners deck, then this card gains 500 atk for each card shuffled back into the deck by this effect. During the End Phase of the turn this card was summoned, send it to the graveyard. If this card is removed from the field, special summon 1 Light attributed "Silent" monster, except "Silent Dragon of Destruction, Gandora",  or from your graveyard, ignoring the summoning conditions.

The Silent Inn

Field Spell Card

Once per turn, you can shuffle all Light attributed "Silent" monsters in your graveyard into your deck. Once per turn, you can reveal any number of Light attributed "Silent" monsters in your hand, shuffle those targets into the deck, then draw cards equal to the number of monsters successfully shuffled into the deck. Once per turn, during the End Phase, you can activate this effect, gain 500 Life points. This cards activation and effect cannot be negated by Light attributed "Silent" monsters you control.

 

Silent Dagger

Quick-play Spell Card

When a "Silent Thief" monster declares an attack against an opponents monster, you can activate this effect: negate the opponents monsters effect(s), also it is unaffected by other card effects and it is destroyed during the start of damage calculation. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated. If this card is in the graveyard, you can banish it to add 1 "Silent Thief" monster from your deck to your hand.

 

Silent Purge

Quick-Play Spell Card

Target 1 "Silent Cleric" monster you control, it gains 1000 atk, also it is unaffected by other card effects until the next Standby Phase, then gain 500 Life Points. This cards activation and effect cannot be negated. If this card is in your graveyard, you can banish it to add 1 "Silent Cleric" monster from your deck to your hand.

 

Silent Training

Quick-play Spell card

Target 1 Face-up "Silent Paladin" or "Silent Bard" activate 1 of the following effects:

1. The target monster gains attack equal to its original defense.

2. The target monster gains defense equal to its original attack.

This cards activation and effect cannot be negated. If this card is in the graveyard, you can banish it to add 1 "Silent Paladin" or 1 "Silent Bard" from your deck to your hand.
