[Written] The Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth Takes Flight (5 Cards)

So I decided that the "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" needed some more support. Now you might be thinking, "Leaf, are you a madman, it's the strongest monster in the game, are you trying to kill the meta?" While it's true that if you even drop a "Larvae Moth" first turn on your opponent, they'll likely immediately scoop, knowing they've lost, the thing is that it's quite hard to pull of nowadays with how fast the meta is. Sure, you could use "A Wild Monster Appears" to summon them, and make your opponent scoop once you get that "Larvae Moth" to the field, but there's always that feeling that you're cheating by doing so. So I decided it'd be good to make some monsters to help make "Great Moth" turbo a thing.

Cocoon of Superior Evolution

Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 5/ATK 0/DEF 3000

You can equip this card from your hand to a face-up Level 1 Insect-Type monster. Its original ATK and DEF become equal to this card's original ATK and DEF, also change it to Defense Position. Cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can send 1 "Insect-Type" monster from your hand or face-up from your field to the Graveyard; this turn, the equipped monster is unaffected by other card effects. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card, then target 1 "Great Moth" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.

Superior Larvae Moth

Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 2/ATK 500/DEF 400

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard) by Tributing 1 Level 1 Insect-Type on the 1st of your opponent’s turns after it has been equipped with “Cocoon of Superior Evolution”. During either player’s turn: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 monster that specifically lists the card “Cocoon of Evolution”, from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. It cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects until the end of the next turn. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 “Cocoon of Superior Evolution” from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.

Superior Great Moth

Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 8/ATK 2600/DEF 2500

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard) by Tributing 1 Level 1 Insect-Type monster on the 1st of your or the 2nd of your opponent’s turns after it has been equipped with “Cocoon of Superior Evolution”. Unaffected by other Insect-Type monsters’ effects. You can pay 1000 LP; decrease the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls by 1000.

Superior Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth

Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 8/ATK 3500/DEF 3000

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard) by Tributing 1 Level 1 Insect-Type monster on the 2nd of your turns after it has been equipped with “Cocoon of Superior Evolution”. Unaffected by other cards’ effects. Negate the effects of all face-up Insect-Type monsters your opponent controls.

Birth of the Next Great Moth

Spell Card

Discard 1 card; add 1 "Petit Moth" and 1 "Cocoon of Superior Evolution" from your Deck to your hand.

You should really consider using the Card Maker

well he IS using Card Maker site to convey his idea

what the problem of it being written cards? its legal. beside, sometimes finding a proper art is hard unless you can and confident enough to make it your self. and even then there certain merits of being written that the maker and some of us prefer doing that

lastly if you have the time to post that how about you also comment about the overall card for sake of proper discussion

not gonna going to deep on the cards, but your last idea for Superior-PUGM to be Level 8 is interesting since insect barring the archetypal ones are severely lack of search power. sure we have here "Birth of the next Great Moth" but i think it wont hurt Superior to has same Level as OG PUGM. it also make sense, flavor-wise.

In the future, use the Report button to notify me (or another mod) of any Advanced Clause / rulebreaking posts in this section; thank you.

But yes, there should not be an issue with members who choose to make Written Cards. I shouldn't have to remind everyone that the cardmaker has its issues at the moment, and there are image issues at times (either due to usage limitations / copyright or lack of suitable images for one's liking).

Damn beat me to it; was thinking of adding a cool little card for insta brining out the big moths by tributing an insect. love the idea of this though; Konami has being showing some love to the oldest archtypes in the game so making Moths playable might be pretty cool no matter what. Plus insect support is always nice.

Mabye you could add in a card that does bring out the old moths easy; like with what magnet warriors did?
