Libracor
Two years ago, I posted on the forums about Creating a pendulum/xyz archetype around an old and forgotten monster. I've had some time to rework and rebalance them so that they wouldn't be game-breakingly powerful, and now they're ready for the public eye once more. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Seiyaryu! SeiyaryukenLight Level 7 Wyrm/Pendulum/Effect2500/2300 8/8P: "Seiyaryu" monsters you control are not affected by your opponent's card effects. During your end phase, you can destroy this card; And if you do: Add 1 Wyrm or Dragon-Type monster from your deck to your hand, then shuffle your deck.M: Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. SeiyaryukunLight Level 1Wyrm/Pendulum/Effect100/100 3/3P: If you would Pendulum summon 1 or more monsters while this card is active in the Pendulum Zone: You can pay 1000 Life Points; And if you do: You can Pendulum Summon monsters that are activated in the Pendulum zones. M: If this card is in the graveyard or banished; You can pay 500 Life Points to special summon it. Seiyaryuken HeroLight Rank 7Wyrm/Xyz/Effect3000/28002 Rank 7 monstersYou can detach 1 xyz material from this card to negate the destruction of 1 face-up monster you control; And if you do: Deal 500 damage to your opponent cXYZ Seiyaryuken AscendingLight Rank 8Wyrm/Xyz/Effect1800/28003 Rank 8 monstersYou can detach 2 Xyz material from this card during either player's tirn: Damage you take from battles involving this card is 0 until the end phase. While this monster has Xyz material, it cannot be destroyed by battle. SeiyaryukiLight Rank 1Wyrm/Xyz/Effect1300/2003 Level 1 monstersIf you control another Rank 3 or lower LIGHT Xyz monster: Your opponent cannot select this monster as an attack target or as the target of a Spell, Trap, or Monster effect. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a card or card effect; You can detatch 1 Xyz material from this card: negate the activation of that card or effect; And if you do: Destroy that card. Note, I named him Seiyaryuken because "Seiyaryu" means "holy knight dragon" and "ken" means "sword" (I think. I never bothered to double check) and the connection between "knight" and "sword" was just too good to miss. This card is meant to start off my Seiyaryuken archetype which will also support the original Seiyaryu. It will also be able to support and search dragon type monsters for use with Seiyaryu and countless others. The following is an example of an extra deck mechanic of my own called Legacy Summon. If you search me on authors you should see a post called "So I've been thinking..." All the rules for legacy summoning are written there if you're interested.
