Sleepy Posted August 30, 2016 Report Share Posted August 30, 2016 Fossil Dig is such an important card for Dinosaurs when they aren't trying to get Summoned by Rescue Rabbit, so naturally requiring it is not too hard to achieve.Fattening your deck in a -1 way is not that great, even if you were to Rescue Rabbit immediately after, and the "draw and discard" bonus is hardly a bonus.Fossil Excavation is kind of bad.... Call of the Haunted for Dinosaurs that requires a discard and negates the effect of what it revives is so eww. Good to see a "draw 2" for that one, although it just replenishes itself with 1 of those 2 cards drawn, making the combo a somewhat hard +1 play. For a suggestion, maybe something along these lines: You can only activate "Fossil Rectification" once per turn. Target 3 Dinosaur-Type monsters in your Graveyard: Shuffle them into your Deck and draw 1 card, and if you do, you can do 1 or more of these.-Add 1 "Fossil Excavation" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.-Banish 1 "Fossil Dig" from your Graveyard, and if you do, return 1 other banished card to the Graveyard. ^Now the replenishing of your Dinosaurs is a respectable +0 that comes with bonuses from there.-Fossil Dig can help Dinosaurs return that banished Breakthrough Skill to the Graveyard for a re-use, or a banished Rescue Rabbit so that revival effects could bring make it live again.-Fossil Excavation on the other hand, gets back on your hand, so its -1 cost is mitigated by having gotten into your hand as an extra from the get go. It also can search Excavation from the Deck so rather than praising you for having it in the Graveyard, it praises you for running it at all, while not making the bonus such a blatant "draw 2" for your Rectification Spell.The suggestion is mostly off the top of my head so take whatever you find interesting out of it^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
