[spoiler=Templar's Crest: Errata]

Normal Spell Card

Lore: Target 1 "Dark Magician" monster you control; activate 1 of these effects.
• Tribute that target, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician" monster or 1 Effect Monster that lists "Dark Magician" in its card text from your hand or Deck, whose Level is equal to or 1 higher than the Tributed monster's Level, ignoring its Summoning conditions.
• Special Summon 1 "Ebon" or "Magician" monster from your Extra Deck with a Rank equal to that target's Level, and if you do, attach that target and this card to the Summoned monster as Xyz Materials.

OH NOES a Spell Card that includes my new Archetype's name that doesn't bring out a SINGLE MEMBER of that archetype, whatever shall I do?!

Really, though, this was the first card that I made to ring in the Week of Ebon/Ivor/Dark Magic, and that it ends up being of the last cards I place out in the set is a rather coincidental twist of fate.

Of course, this is a retrain of Knight's Title, and that it's compatico with both Dark Magic Circle and the Magician's Rod is built in. Plus, LOOK AT THAT CREST. SUCH A MAJESTIC CREATURE. (damn, I really wanted to do Ebon Paladin. Maybe when I find a proper pic for it.)

Anyways, may the reviews and revelry arrive in abundance.

BDS, signing off.

Nice stuff, truly, allowing you to go into nearly any Dark Magician monster is great, and could allow Dark Magic Burning to be run in these decks more naturally, and while potentially more bricky, with Dark Magician of Chaos, you could go into your Sorcerer of Dark Magic retrain, which makes it easier to get out. It also allows 1 card Xyz plays into anything from Rank 6 to Rank 9, which is great for comeback ability or other such things. Not much to say other than it's a well earned retrain of the original Knight's Title, that still holds true to the idea of the card.
