[Snowy Town Archtype] Walking in a Winter Wonderland

I know it's not Winter yet but this Archtype will put a F-F-Frezze through monster, or card effects. The Town itself Relys on Freezing Card Effects, plus Swarming Methods. I hope you like this archtype.

[spoiler=Story (Credit goes to cr47t for what the Winterous Snowy Town is about)]

Tundria has lived prosperously out of sight of those hunting for it for decades, unaffected by, yet aware of, the outside world. But as time has gone by, the temperature has been rising, slowly but steadily, due to the surge of fossil fuels in the outside world. Determined to save her city, Lumi, one of the city's inhabitants, decides to explore both the world of Tundria and the outside world to save their city from a rising climate. Along her way, Lumi teams up with some of the city's inhabitants, including the city's most well-known citizens, as she makes her way herself to becoming a prolific citizen of Tundria.

If you control 2 or more "Snowy Town" monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn: you can send 1 "Snowy Town" monster from your hand, or field to the Graveyard, then target 1 monster on the Field with a Ice Counter; take control of that monster.

When This card is Normal Summoned: add 1 Level 4 or lower "Snowy Town" monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn: you can Shuffle 1 "Snowy Town" monster from your field or hand into the Deck, then your opponent reveals 2 cards from their hand; send 1 of those revealed cards from their hand to the Graveyard.

While you control 1 or more "Snowy Town" monster(s) on your side of the Field except "Snowy Town Lass": you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is used as a Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon of a "Snowy Town" monster: Draw 1 card.

Each time a "Snowy Town" monster is Normal or Special Summoned, after this effect resolves: Place 1 Ice Counter on this card. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Ice counter to activate 1 of the following effects:

• add 1 "Snowy Town" monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

• Target 1 card your opponent controls; place 1 Ice Counter on it, and if it's a monster; it's effect cannot be activated in response to this cards effect.

If this card would be destroyed: you can remove 1 Ice Counter from anywhere on the field instead.

This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, During either player's turn: You can Banish 1 "Snowy Town" monster, then target 1 monster your opponent controls with an Ice Counter on it; take control of that monster until the End Phase.

While "The Winterous Snowy Town" Field Spell is face-up on the field; your opponent cannot activate Pendulum Effects as long as this card is face-up on the field. Once per turn, while there is 2 or more "Snowy Town" monsters on your side of the field: Target 1 monster on the field; Shuffle that monster into the Deck, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK. If this card is Destroyed: Shuffle up to 5 "Snowy Town" monsters from your Graveyard; Shuffle those targets into the Deck, then Draw 1 card.

"Snowy Town Berserker" + 2 or more "Snowy Town" monsters

While "The Winterous Snowy Town" Field Spell is face-up on the field: Your opponent cannot select any "Snowy Town" monsters for attacks except this card. When this card is Fusion Summoned by the effect of "Snowstorm Fusion" it gains this effect: if a monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: place 1 Ice Counter on the Summoned monster. This card can attack while it's in Defense Position, and if it does, apply its DEF for damage Calculation. If this card destroys a monster with an Ice Counter in it: Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; Shuffle it into the Deck.

While "The Winterous Snowy Town" Field Spell is face-up on the field: your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Excavate the top 3 cards from your Deck, and if it's a Level 4 or lower "Snowy Town" monster, equip it to this card. You can send 1 Card that is equipped to this card to the Graveyard, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; it loses 600 ATK until the End phase.

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 "Snowy Town" Xyz monster you control as an Xyz Material. (Xyz materials attached to that card is also attached to this card.) Once per turn: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target up to 2 cards on the Field; Destroy it. If this card in your possession is Destroyed: Special Summon 1 "Snowy Town" monster from your Graveyard.

Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target up to 2 "Snowy Town" monsters with different names from your Graveyard; Shuffle those targets into the Deck, then add 1 "Snowy Town" monster from your Deck to your hand. While you control a face-up "Snowy Town" Spell/Trap Card: this card can halve this cards ATK, and if you do, this card can attack your opponent directly. When this card is Destroyed: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; place 1 Ice Counter on that target.

Cannot be Destroyed by card effects. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card your opponent controls; Return that monster to your opponents hand. You can activate 1 "Snowy Town Queen's Advisor" once per turn.

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 "Snowy Town" Xyz monster as an Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials that are attached to that card is also attached to this card.) Once per turn: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Spell/Trap Card; Destroy them, then add 1 "Snowy Town" monster from your Graveyard to your hand. If a "Snowy Town" monster attacks: target 1 set card Your opponent controls; your opponent cannot activate that target. (Even if this card leaves the field.)

The whole of the card set is so big I glazed over a lot, but from what I have read, I like this archetype a lot. I might just make a story/project/etc based on it, if that is OK with you.

 

Also, it would be nice if you told me where specifically you found the images (i.e. the pages you used), as I feel inspired by them for ideas for a project, as I have already mentioned.

I have used Zerochan, and Safebooru, then typed either the text "Snow", "Snowing","Winter", and "Winter Clothes" just to Search for card pics. Luckily I found a few that were intersting. Yes you have my approval to make a Story/Project/etc what do you have in mind because there is more of these archetypes to come.

I have used Zerochan, and Safebooru, then typed either the text "Snow", "Snowing","Winter", and "Winter Clothes" just to Search for card pics. Luckily I found a few that were intersting. Yes you have my approval to make a Story/Project/etc what do you have in mind because there is more of these archetypes to come.

What I have in mind, specifically, is an idea for a video game/story. I don't know how long it will take since I also have other projects on my hands, but I will try to keep this one in mind.

I have a suggestion; try your hand at another Fusion Monster. Having a special Fusion card and then having only 1 Fusion feels a bit arbitrary, at least to my view.

That is such a good idea I'll see to it that there will be another Fusion monster in this archtype.

I like the new fusions, however I feel that Blizzard Witch's summoning conditions are a bit too lax for it's powerful effects - I would change it to 3 Snowy Towns with different names. Also, I would make Signature Frost Breath a Normal Trap, seeing as while it's already pretty powerful with the effect alone, the fact that it's a Spell Speed 3 (due to it being a Counter) really makes it hard to come over.

I like the new fusions, however I feel that Blizzard Witch's summoning conditions are a bit too lax for it's powerful effects - I would change it to 3 Snowy Towns with different names. Also, I would make Signature Frost Breath a Normal Trap, seeing as while it's already pretty powerful with the effect alone, the fact that it's a Spell Speed 3 (due to it being a Counter) really makes it hard to come over.

It's already fixed I change the fusion Materials to 3, and Signature Frost Breath is a Normal Trap Card.

Of course you can make a status, plus the Atomic Slide is nerfed to destroying monsters with an Ice Counter plus I fixed the spoiler for this archtype's Fusion.
