2400 gold, 50 pre-ordered packs, plus the packs we're getting for free. 80+ packs on release later today, hype!

I don't have dust though, spent it to make Dead Man's Hand Warrior (such a cool deck).

I wanna pull Kingsbane, it's such an amazing dynamic.

Man, I am a dust horder. I have over 4000. Though I really want to make the Warlock DK since I REALLY like it. I am going to wait to see if anything more pressing comes up for my other decks though.

And the flavor text in the game is pretty cool. Shame I can't look at it on my phone.

Part of me wants to preorder packs, but I can't really justify it. I open +60 plus packs over a sets life just doing daily quests so having pretty much every packs I would have opened opened right away does make playing out of the gate a lot easier.

I do think I should have put Kingsbane a little higher. It is likely really powerful. I just don't like Rouge since I don't have the cards to make a good Rouge deck.

Got Aluneth as my free weapon, and Lynessa was my first 10 packs Legendary, no complaints there.

I'm currently doing a Mage dungeon run and I think it will do well. Permanent minion stealth passive + Animated Armor is pretty OP.

EDIT: Yup, even the final boss was a chump. The entire run I could just ignore the board and only go face since they'd only deal 1 damage to me at a time. The only risk was Bristlesnarl since he had Deadly Shots, but luckily none of them hit Animated Armor.

Oh and Matthew Mercer of course voices Aluneth, as he did in Legion. It has voice lines whenever its effect activates, as does the Warlock one.

My free weapon was Twig of the World Tree, and on my 83 packs I opened Rin, the First Disciple; Master Oakheart; Geosculptor Yip and Rhok'Delar.

Did 3 runs, first with Rogue, got 6 wins. Second with Warrior, 7 wins. And on the third I managed to beat everyone with Paladin (upgraded hero power, +1/+1 buff and insane legendaries).

I love the Dungeon Run, it's so much fun and has a lot of strategy involved!

Yeah, it's really fun. So far I've beaten it with Mage and Warrior, and gotten to 7 with Hunter. Getting Justicar's Ring with Warrior made things super easy, and I'm currently in the middle of a Priest run where hopefully I'll get it as well.

[spoiler=Also, protip]

don't let A.F. Kay get to turn 6.

I got the Hunter weapon. ; _ ;

15 packs opened. Got gold Murmuring Elemental (in a pack of 1 Fungal Enchanter, 2 Ironwood Golem, and 2 Murmuring Elemental), Duskbreaker, To My Side! (sigh), gold Candleshot, Twig of the World Tree, and Dragon's Fury were my note worthy cards. Not really good. Duskbreaker is honestly the best thing I opened. At least I ended up with 170 dust thanks to the two golden cards.

Do we get anything for clearing Dungeon Run with every class? I just did with Mage.

Apparently this is not really my lucky day

Druid: Barkskin, Jasperstone, Greedy Sprite, Astral Tiger, Oaken Summon, Grizzled Guardian

Hunter: flanking strike, emerald spellstone

Mage: Shifting Scroll, Ruby spellstone, explosive rune, Leyline Manipulator

Paladin: Drygulch Jailor, Potion of Heroism, unidentified maul

Priest: Gilded Gargolye, twilight call, unidentified elixir, duskbreaker, diamond spellstone

Rouge: Kobold Illusionist

Shaman: unstable evo, kobold hermit, murmur ele, shappire Spellstone

Warrior: Drywhisker, unidentified shield, Mithril Spellstone

Neutral: feral gibbere, sewer crawler, shimmering courser, arcane tyrant, Mossbinder, hungry ettin, violet grub

Gonna keep some. Not sure about the rest. Suggestion?

Damn, Azari is a really hard final boss. The only time I've beaten him is with Mage when I had the Cloak of Invisibility + Animated Armor. I much prefer the giant dragon who keeps his board filled with chests you can ignore.

Yea, I only beat the demon because Antonidas is dumb. As is making all your spells cost 1 less.

Also, that Hamm guy really sucks to face as the 2nd to last boss. Before my last Paladin run I'd only faced him as one of the first few so he was no problem, but having 60 health and his hero power being 2 damage to 3 random targets just beat me down too much.

Blackseed, too. Those evolves are crazy.

Also, if you're ever offered the hilt or blade of Quel'Delar, take it and hope you get the other half later.

So I've had a new highlight run, this thing was so hilariously easy I don't think I'll ever have anything better despite how short a time this expansion has been out, not even Cloak of Invisibilty + Animated Armor can hold a candle to it. This was my Shaman deck:

AzdY52H.png

That's right, 2 Captured Flags. So that was +2/+2 to every minion I had, including all summoned Jades, hero power totems, everything. If you thought Tunnel Troggs were a problem before, imagine if they were all 3/5s. I even had a Brann Bronzebeard to pump out the battlecry-summoned minions even faster. Even the simple Murloc Tidecaller became a 4/3 that summoned two 3/3s. Humorously enough, I got both the boss who doubled all battlecries and the one who doubled all battlecries and deathrattles during the run, so those two games were over in a second. Azari was my final boss but he wasn't any more trouble than the Giant Rat.

I've only managed to beat two bosses so far. Vustrasz was beaten due to sick synergy between Frost Lich Jaina and Wax Elemental, which lets me constantly heal off damage from his hero power. Azari was beaten as Warlock, this time with Wax Elemental buffed by Captured Flag allowing me to freely trade off against nearly everything he puts out.

Wax Elemental be real good, yo. Especially if you N'zoth to get a whole crowd of them.

So apparently the worm boss thing whose hero power eats the highest attack minion dies if he eats a poisonous minion.

Also, with Magic Mirror and Amulet of Domination, you can add that spore that's poisonous to heroes to your deck for some easy wins.

EDIT: Any of you guys gotten any of the rare bosses yet? I've only faced Tad so far but I didn't know about his special thing cuz I killed him too quickly. There's also the Vault that ends the game after 5 turns and you have to try and break open chests before then to get extra treasure for your run.

Finally beat Dungeon Run with every class. The amount of bosses it took for each class was pretty varied.

Warrior: 8

Shaman: 20

Rogue: 8

Paladin: 37

Hunter: 19

Druid: 55

Warlock: 16

Mage: 8

Priest: 45

I'm surprised that I actually managed to beat it first try with not just 1 class, but 3. Warrior used Cloak of Invisibility + Justicar's Ring with a general deck, Rogue used Jades + double battlecries, and Mage used Cloak of Invisibility + Animated Armors with a general deck.

So, what sort of decks you guys been trying out so far? I've done a little testing with Hand Buff Paladin (as I do every new expansion) with stuff like Wax Elemental (I love that card, simple yet effective and it's got great art) and Potion of Heroism, but my main thing is a Mage deck (surprisingly enough, since I more or less didn't play Mage outside of quests/adventures before I got free Aluneth) which I've dubbed "Fireballs to the Wall."

EQYxYNu.png

It's a sort of tempo pseudo-secret deck that utilizes Aluneth for refill. I call it that because it's very high risk (but very fun so far) because it lacks Ice Block and if my opponent can outlast my barrage of resources drawn by Aluneth (had the same Dead Man's Hand Warrior beat me twice in a row) I'll just straight up die to fatigue with no way to get rid of the weapon since I think Medivh is too slow to fit in the deck.

I crafted DK Warlock and the Void Lords because I REALLY want to play that style of Warlock deck. Voidlord also seems insane. Still needs some work, but I like the base.

Aluneth is a REALLY high risk high reward card. Not only are you hitting fatigue fast you can easily just over draw if your deck is too expensive. I think you have a strong starting core, but I feel you need more threats. Against a controlling deck I can see you running out of high impact stuff pretty easily. I think Book is the easiest cut since it doesn't empty your hand for Aluneth and you don't have a Jaina to ping it with.

Makes sense, I'll look into replacements.

If you're going for control Warlock, maybe consider Master Oakheart. He's a really strong card when pulling stuff like Void Lords, Vulgar Homonculi, and Tar Lurkers.

EDIT: Gonna try Kabal Lackeys in place of the Babbling Books. Not exactly another threat but it could be good for tempo, early Explosive Runes could do some work. I kinda wish I had Deck of Wonders to put in because anytime I've gotten one randomly, all the drawing with Aluneth has led to some hilarious results.

Don't know if anyone's following this sort of stuff but Twitch is doing this big Dungeon Run challenge and currently Trump is in the lead having completed all 9 classes in only 9 runs, a perfect score. Pretty cool: https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/7i3bbq/twitch_30000_dungeon_run_challenge_announcement/

Also, Kabal Lackeys in my Mage deck is doing really awesome, I'm currently 23-13. Explosive Runes is just such a cool card, playing it early with Lackey, it can ruin someone's early game tempo while also getting in good face damage. And people are trained to play their worst minion due to Mirror Entity/Potion of Polymorph and sometimes can take a fair amount of damage. But it's still good enough to kill some mid level minions, or at least weaken big ones for easy clearing. It's even got a few niche uses, like instantly killing Keleseth so Rogue can't bounce it back.

I definitely want to try Big Spell Mage at some point. Aside from armor dude there's that awesome 2/2 bird that Jousts you your spells, the 4/4 elemental that costs 0 after a big spell, and that 5 mana Joust that's AoE to the whole board based on mana cost. It's a cool archtype to push, I hope they follow up on it with future expansions.
