Holy sheet that + Book of Spectres in Elemental Mage, hot damn. I wonder if there will be any Minion Mage decks that aren't mostly Elemental, though. If Spell Hunter can be a thing, so can Minion Mage, I guess.

Also it's been confirmed that Tess will work like pre-nerf Yogg, so cards will continue to play even if she dies or is silenced or something.

This looks insane.

This is REALY dumb. Having two cards that function VERY similarly that play completely differently. I suppose Tess has a much better chance at living through the turn, but still. They should really unnerf Yogg.

This seems really strong, especially for minion mage. Compares favorably to Hydrologist since playing the secret is like 3 mana worth of value, leaving you with a 1 mana 2/2 of sorts. Main issue is that there are a few secrets you don't want to get, and (thank god) Ice Block is rotating out. However, the secret pool isn't that large so you'll be seeing a lot of Blasting Runes and Counter Spells.

Also this is a thing

Seems alright I guess. If you run no 1 drops this can fetch you Keleseth in your Keleseth decks, or simply draw you a 1-drop for something like Hunter. Maybe it'll lead to some interesting deck design to tutor out a specific card

Not actually sure if these are real, supposedly they got leaked/revealed at some PAX thing but I figure I might as well share since there's already a huge discussion on the subreddit:

Prince Liam sounds pretty fun, and in the later parts of a game when 1 mana cards don't matter anymore it can turn potential useless draws into potential good Legendaries. and Shudderwock seems pretty neat with Grumble, and if it copies something like Saronite Chain Gang he'll summon another 6/6. I hope these are real cuz they just sound fun.

EDIT: Got the quest to get a pack for beating 5 Dungeon Run bosses today and HOLY sheet.

EDIT EDIT: Also the follow-up KFT pack OH MY GOD.

Assuming these are real

Prince Liam and Bellringer make me think that someone is going to try a secret pally deck, as Liam lets you transform those bad secrets into random Legendaries while Bellringer acts as a not-so-good Mysterious Challenger. I don't think this deck will be good, but Liam could be neat on his own in a midrange deck, although it doesn't play all that nicely with Call to Arms so we'll have to see.

On an off note, is there any way for Hunter to get their hands on Liam? I can't think of any, but if there is a way Liam would be hilarious after finishing the hunter quest.

Shudderwock seems pretty nutty. One crazy combination of Battlecries that could happen (if the order plays out right, assuming it is random, and this work how I think it does) is Chain Gang + Grumble. Using this you can recycle your Shudderwock over and over again. There are a lot of silly things you can do, but the first thing that comes to mind is to toss Nightblade or Kobold Apprentice into the mix to burn out the opponent.

More Hand Druid stuff:

xsToGDo.png0b8jY8K.png

Bewitched Guardian is just Twilight Drake just with Taunt and no tribal tag for 1 more mana. Needs 5 cards to reach a taunt statline of 4/6 and 6 cards in hand to reach a vanilla statline of 4/7 for 5, anything past that is just gravy. Seems like a good follow-up to UI since it helps refill your hand. Silence hurts it a lot, but that hasn't stopped cards before. Seems like a solid card. The art is really good, too.

Ferocious Howl seems quite good, too. It's comparable to Shield Block but can potentially gain you more armor (which goes well with Druid's Spellstone), which Druid is already really good at, and it's nice to have another option that's also card draw. And based on the wording it should draw first, so you only need 4 other cards in hand when casting this to reach 5 armor.

The deck is actually starting to come together nicely, it seems. There's at least a nice roadmap for the early turns assuming you draw well, T2 Witchwood Apple > T3 Ferocious Howl > T4 Twilight Drake/Mountain Giant > T5 Twilight Drake/Mountain Giant/Bewitched Guardian or something like that.

Seems pretty good. Either an ok defensive minion or a pretty good removal spell.

For the other cards

Guardian needs 6 cards to beat out the Druid of the Claw. Should be doable in Druid.

Druid has so much Armor gain I'm not sure how much it need this, but this could be good.

Prince seems like a lot of fun, but I'm curious how in you can go on the effect.

Shudder seems perfect for Shamen.

Piper seems like a sweet card in a minion light deck to draw one of your high impact cards.

Liam and Shudderwock is confirmed real. NICE

I Kinda like Earthen Might open design so that Elemental Shaman may get niche extras like Pyros, Lyra, etc

im partially regret my decision to dust Shaman Quest when i see Ghost Light

i feel unsatisfied with Zap!

slightly upset that we were suppose to get powerful shaman spells and this is what we end up with. still think Shaman could come back thanks to Shudderwock although its a shame that the order is random.

they also dumped the rest of the cards on their facebook. one that sticks out to me is

this seems absolutely ridiculous, even if it doesn't get you a doomguard or voidlord. can kill lackeys or be used on your own face to activate spell stones or even those self harm cards they have this expansion.

DK Rexxar is gonna be so funking good when WW hits, that new 1 mana 2/1 lifesteal worm and the 2 mana 1/3 rush lifesteal beast are wonderful.

And with regards to Shaman Spells, the 1 mana discover a battlecry minion and the Elemental version of Mark of Y'Shaarj seem pretty good, and both are cheap. There's Zap which is like Backstab for Shaman which doesn't seem too bad either. And unrelated to spells but still Shaman, that 2 mana 2/2 echo murloc, Quest Shaman time!

I'm tempted to craft a Golden Shudderwock once the expansion hits if I don't pull one from any packs. The live stream showed its power pretty well, it has such insane synergy with stuff like Saronite Chain Gang and Grumble, Worldshaker.

Btw, take a quick look here to make sure you're all prepped for the expansion: https://old.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/8bai3n/is_your_account_ready_the_witchwood_4step/

Also the new update is out prepping for the WW release. Interestingly enough, Molten Giant has been reverted back to 20 mana despite not being in the Hall of Fame yet, so play him in Standard while you can! Also, 40g quests are changed now so I guess it's best to reroll 50g quest and wait for at least 60g ones.

So it's the eve of the Witchwood release, what's everyone's coffers looking like? I currently have only 2080 gold saved up, but I do have 5310 dust and will be getting another 1800 with Molten Giants, Ice Blocks, and Coldlights giving me HoF dust.
