[spoiler=Card A]Challenger's Choice
Continuous Spell
When this card is activated place 1 "Choice" counter on this card. This card is destroyed if it no longer has any "Choice" counters on it. During either players turn, you or your opponent can pay 1000 life; remove 1 "Choice" counter from this card, and activate one of the following effects:
•Change the battle position of 1 face-up monster.
•Select 1 face-up monster. Take control of it until the End Phase.

[spoiler=Card B]Challenger's Choice

Continuous Spell

When a monster declares an attack on a monster: The turn player can make that attack a direct attack instead, and, if they do, they cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step.

Card A is really a single use card, but in application, considering BOTH of you can use it at any time while there's a counter, I sense there will be a ruling nightmare on who can trigger what, especially if both players have enough LP to even do so. Then again, the effect is basically Enemy Controller without the Tribute part, so that's really all to it.

(I may need to message evilfusion a ruling query on this, but yeah, card feels like a more gimmicky Enemy Controller)

----

Card B has the potential to lead to OTKs or the like if one can get their boss monsters out, and that's common for a lot of Decks nowadays. Granted, you still have to deal with backrow and the like, given you can't trigger something to destroy/negate them. On the other hand, the opponent can use this against you, but even then, you can still counter if necessary while they cannot. So in a way, it plays mind games with both players; do they want to go for heavy damage and risk getting hit via backrow/hand traps or be safe and attack a monster / still have the ability to deal with said hand traps?

Suppose this also gives weaker Decks a way to damage the opponent if they cannot run over the opponent's monsters, either by own protection or just weaker stats.

I know I mentioned the potential for OTKs, because you can certainly use this off a full field if you know for certain the field is clear and you can afford to lose your effect activations for that Damage Step. This is one thing that concerns me, even if the opponent has a monster up.

------------------

Voting C for now; A feels bland and has a ruling issue (which I'll go address to evilfusion) and B has the potential for Decks to OTK or otherwise do sizable damage, despite the limitations, taking into account how quickly common Decks can amass strong enough monsters.
