So, to anyone reading this: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACTUALLY CRITIQUE ALL THESE CARDS. Just pick a Pokemon Line that hasn't be done, or that you want to do, and tell me how I've done. I don't want anyone to have to put themselves through the torture of reading through this slog, and I don't expect anyone to. Just pick a line-- each are about 1 to 6 cards-- and go ham.

Seriously.

Don't do them all, please.

I don't want to be responsible for murder.

Bump; added Honchkrow, Mismagius, Chingling, and Glameow lines.

ALSO! I introduced the idea of their being an actual archetype within each region, representing important forces within the universe-- in this case, it being the infamous Team Galactic, and their merry band of spooky-stronk Pokemon!

Oh, and Spells. That too.

G o t t a c r i t i q u e t h e m a l l

There's only 107 pokemon native to Sinnoh so if I tackle 1 pokemon and its respective cards 1 day at a time, it'll take me less than 1/3 of a year...assuming you post them at the same rate.

I'm kidding, it'd probably get less helpful as I went further in. I have looked at a few, however.

Honchkrow might work with blackwings. SS'ing back a winged beast would be really helpful for them, however the +100 ATK for winged beasts on the field is probably not going to help it much. My main question is why its 800 boost relies on a ritual monster. How would it help a player to synchro summon (which requires a lot of cards) with a ritual monster, which also requires lots of cards to summon?

Dark Pulse could be pretty useful in certain situation, 1000 LP is not much of a cost.

Why give Ambipom a special condition when it could be done just as easily by making it cost "1 beast-type tuner monster + 1 or more non-tuner beast-type monsters"? It's effect based on the use of Aipom is pretty good and although tributing a synchro is kind of a waste, this card's effect might make it worth it since the card will just come back.

Double Hit is really powerful. 2 attacks for a monster and you can summon monsters from the hand or graveyard? It could bring out a lot of high level monsters from the hand. Summoning from the grave is kind of strange, does that mean it could summon Extra deck monsters which had already been successfully summoned and destroyed? Again, why ritual monsters? There are some formerly very powerful ritual archetypes (Gishki and Nekroz) which could make a lot of use of this card.

All the Ritual reliance has to do with Pokemon that got evolutions specifically in Sinnoh that, originally, were introduced in Johto. Sinnoh is the Synchro Region, and Johto is the Ritual one.

I'm sure if you put some thought into it, you could see which regions would get what summoning mechanic as their gimmick. :>

Anyway, the 100 ATK gain is in reference that Honchkrow is the "Big Boss" Pokemon, and as such, gains power and respect by having a huge-ass possey of baby birds to do its bidding. Why only 100 ATK? Because they don't /actually/ make the Pokemon stronger. They just kinda... exist to serve. I'd have given him an ability to boost his allies, but I always imagined Honchkrow being selfish, so yeah.

Also, nitpicking, but the 1000 LP lost isn't a cost, hence you can lose b/c of it, like with Soul Charge.

Again, it's because Ritual Monsters, as far as Ambipom and its summoning condition goes. It's a DIRECT evolution to its predecessor, and cards pre-Drifloon are from an earlier era of cardmaking wherein I had different ideas and plans for the whole of the Pokemon Universe (which I plan on covering in the upcoming years).

Chances are, I'll definitely change its summoning condition to the one you gave, since it fits with the other Synchro-Evolutions I've made. (Honchkrow and Mismagius).

Yeah, Double Hit probably needs a nerf. The idea was to use it in conjunction with Ambipom to tribute it and let you Ritual Summon Legendary Pokemon from the Graveyard by using a reviving Synchro Monster that doesn't actually need to be Synchro Summoned in the first place. Hue.

But yeah, definitely going to make that type/Level specific. Like, Beast-type only or Level 4 or lower Ritual Monsters only. Just for balance. Don't want a 3200 ATK beatstick slapping you for 6400, then being tributed because screw you.

Buuuut i'll do that later. For now, I need food, sleep, and plans on how I'm going to handle Stunky and Bronzor. Thanks for the review! :D
