Saiku's House of Splicing

Well first I'd suggest putting the pixels in proper proportion with each other. That would make this look a lot cleaner.

You did a fair job with integrating the colors, however as some outline are pure black and some are a mixture of black and color that makes it look a bit off.

Aside from the nitty-gritties, it looks like a creative idea and I'm interested in seeing more of what you come up with.

Does he have one eye, or is that forced perspective?

There are some stray pixels underneath his knee on the left side of the sprite.

The hair seems kinda flat behind his body, it might look nice for one of the bits to go slightly in front of his shoulder, to create some depth. I'm not certain how well that would work out, but it is worth experimenting with.

It's viewing his face from the side. Think of like a manga character.

[spoiler=Example]Son.Goku.%28DRAGON.BALL%29.full.1435841.

The one piece under his knee is still the hair. Because it's just long, but you're right, it's pretty distracting.

I can try the shoulder thing. I'll have an update eventually.
