What can be gleaned directly from these sources:

  • 100 Ultra Rare card set
  • Released March 30, 2017
  • Each set contains three 5-card packs.
  • 40 new cards + 60 reprints from every YGO series to date
  • Includes cards used by Yuya Sakaki, Yami Bakura, Yusei Fudo, Mai Valentine and Don Thousand
  • Includes Diabound Kernel, Fallen Paradise and Yusei's secret ace monster from another timeline Cosmic Blazar Dragon

So, chances are, the "real" Numbers 1 - 4 (the Numeron Gates), Number C1000 and iC1000 are in here too.

I doubt they'll do the real Numbers 1-4. They seem to... Silly. I think they'll end up doing the fake 1-4, as they at least resemble real cards.

But hey, we can't know for sure, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I think they could release both versions. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time the same Number has different forms released IRL. Even if Utopia Roots and Utopia Beyond are technically down/upgrades, they are still the pure number rather than C39 or S39.

I think as long as the rest of the names are different, they can release both forms.

I'm just saying: Don't be surprised if Numerronius and/or Numerronius Numerronia are in it.

And I can say the same to you: Don't be surprised if Numerronius and Numerronius Numerronia are not in here. (Personally I don't see them being in here)

I love how Konami finally recognises Cosmic Blazar Dragon

Ikr, I thought that'd never see the light of day. What's next, Colourless, Chaos King of Dark World? (Just putting it out there)

Considering that the set description mentions Don Thousand, I think that means the 1-4 will most likely be the real ones, not the fake ones.

I'll note that, but Numerronius is a Number and Don Thousand's actual ace monster; if they can print something as stupid as Divine Serpent Geh, this isn't that much more unreasonable.  The only actual questionable thing about C1000 is its printed ATK. Even if it doesn't appear here, I don't doubt it showing up eventually.

On another note, there are lore reasons for Cosmic Blazar to be worse than Quasar, so I'm not sure what it would bring to the table, but it's interesting to see them print it regardless. Just goes to show that you can't always predict what Konami will do with anime cards.

Is the anime version of Quasar not just an alternate form, which almost specifically counters Z-one's Timelords ?

I am unsure about Blazar being worse than Quasar, considering all Yusei does prove to Z-one is that he can adapt (to almost all situations) and create "a miracle" for a specific situation.

If I remember correctly, Cosmic Blazar belonged to the ruined future timeline.

The ATK thing is one reason why I don't see it being printed here, the other reason is Ci1000 being Rank 13. Ofc Konami printed Rank 0s, so the whole Rank 13 thing doesn't seem farfetch'd, I just wouldn't be surprised if the pair of them aren't printed here tbph.

I'm just being realistic that the Don Thousand cards we'll probs see printed are 1-4, C1 and the field spell.

Delta Accel Synchros are Synchros that require 1 Tuner Synchro + 2 or more non-Tuner Synchros, but in the anime, they also require a state of mind called "Top Clear Mind", with examples being T.G. Halberd Cannon and Cosmic Blazar Dragon, the latter of which Yusei used in Z-one's timeline; Quasar in the anime is called a "Limit Over Accel Synchro" which requires the same 1 Tuner Synchro + 2 or more non-Tuner Synchros, but requires a state of mind that surpasses Top Clear Mind called "Over Top Clear Mind".

By that measure, Quasar is supposed to surpass the average Delta Accel Synchro, which Cosmic Blazar was.
