Sceptyr's Support: Harpie Lady Haven (Completed 9)

To Harpies then .Yu-Gi-Oh's most alluring Archetype. (yes I know there's a monster LITERALLY CALLED Allure Queen. Ironic, but it STILL isn't on the Level.)

So they have some intensive retrieval that works a tad too late to be useful (and if it did activate earlier, would be absolutely busted, break backrow with their Field Spell like no tomorrow, and their only Xyz Monster is a 3 Mat. Can be made easier than though with the Party tho.

Oh yeah, and a monster effect negater that searches out a currently banned card. May bear good news for that card in the future, but as it stands right now, Harpies are trying to do too much and don't do so with any good level of consistency.

Which is where I step in.

Enjoy.

Hmm these cards are pretty good for the most part I'll give my Review on these cards

Harpie Girl Sorority: I like it's effects what a good way to Bring out Harpie Dancer, or better yet Harpie Channeler, but Dancer is way better for Harpie Girl Sorority, and it makes it easier to Xyz, or Fusion Summon.

Harpie Lady Hysteric Squad: Finally something that I can use Elegant Egotist on other than Harpie Lady Sisters. Considering this card is always treated as "Harpie Lady Sisters", it can level up 1 "Harpie" monster nice, also you need to correct the spelling because I see that it says up to thrice per turn when it suppose to say twice per turn.

Hysteric Union: impressive idea of a Fusion Trap, but it's a shame that once it's Fusion Summoned that monster becomes 1950, but on a positive note the Xyz Summon does the same thing, but thanks to hunting Ground I can destroy something on the Field.

Harpie's pet Patriarchal Dragon: powerful effect, but I guess in my opinion 2000 Damage is too much, but powerful effect, and it goes great with hunting ground.

Harpie Matriarch: it's effect is impressive to me, recycling Hysteric Party. I'm not a huge fan of Returning card to the hand, except Harpie Dancer, but damage itself makes up for it.

So overall I'd Give it a 8/10 worth trying out.

Thanks for the necessary words, mate, I've dossied up Harpie's Pet Patriarch Dragon and Harpie Girl Sorority as per your review, and will have more cards on the way.

P.S. On Harpie Lady Hysteric Squad...yeah, that's not a typo. I mean for that effect to work 3 times a turn-see Mare Mare to get what I mean.

Though it's not my favorite Archetype, I like the idea of new Harpie Support. So far I've liked what I've seen concerning the otherwise fairly-underrepresented Archetype, plus your art for Harpie Millennial is similar enough to the art I use for my own Red-Eyes Magician Girl for me to consider swapping out the art. I feel that Harpie Millennial probably ought to be changed to say that it is considered Time Wizard in some combination of while on the Field, in the Graveyard, or in the hand, as you won't be able to play any actual Time Wizard with a playset of Harpie Millennial(and there will be people who will want to try that). Also, I noticed that Black Millennium Dragon says any "Baby Dragon" Monster, but I can only think of one "Baby Dragon" Monster. Is this a reference to a possible future Archetype you're making?

Eh, Harpie Millennial's good enough I don't think people will be jonesing for the actual article too much-unless they've got Time Magic Hammer plays in mind with the Claw of Hermos. Main issue was in the secondary effect-this might too easily enable Chimera Rafflesia in Red-Eyes/Harpie builds alongside Sundew Kingii or Sarraceniant and that card is bonkers.

And there are two Baby Dragon monsters: Joey's Normal Counterpart-for the actual Thousand Dragon that Harpie's Black Millennium Dragon is a (powercreeped) mimic of-and Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon, which was the main crux for this card.

I don't like what you are doing to the Harpie archetype with these, to be honest. In the OP you implied you would make support for them to focus on what they already do, but instead you gave them more things to do, making them feel even more cluttered and inconsistent. For instance, now they can Fusion Summon, and you gave them 2 cards that require you to do X in order to do Y (Patriach Dragon and Tempest). It's funny how in the set you have cards that I find either questionable (e.g. Union for its quick effect pseudo-Stormforth effects, Matriach for being an stronger Pleiades), or not worth of being played (Squad, Egocentrism).

Personally, from these cards I would only play Union for the disruption, Matriach for its sheer power (which I don't find fair, by the way), and maybe Sorority as a 1-card Rank7 to strengthen their Xyz plays; whereas I would try to play Harpie Millennial as a tech in Red-Eyes or Predaplants (it can be used for Chimera Rafflesia).

Regarding Union, keep in mind that Ligtning Chidori is a thing, and by summoning it during the opponent's turn it gets to use its on-Summon effect effectively as a Quick Effect.

Also, you should make the gained Normal Summon effect from Tempest an extra Normal Summon; otherwise I believe it will count as the Normal Summon of the turn, making it less potent.

I would suggest something more specific but I'm not sure where to start, really. It got kinda messy there when Harpies normally swarm, destroy Spell/Traps and make Rank4s when these want them to fuse, focus on the Harpie Lady and its copies, go for Rank7s and bounce things. I guess you can start by toning down Matriach.
