Pokemon: The Fallen [OoC/S/Limited Acceptance]

Wow. That's all really bad. I'll do what I can!

If it helps, here's a quick tip just kidding it's a funking essay on how I write bios as long as I do. This works 99% of the time. I've just now made up this name and call it the RAT Method. Just follow these three steps.

Rough draft - Write down, in about a paragraph or two, the roughest draft of your bio. Make sure every sentence - if not every word - teaches us something new about the backstory of your character. Some good spots to focus on would be where the character comes from, what their family is like, at least three important events that happened in their life, and then what happened to bring them to where they are now. For reference, I tried doing this with River's bio just below.

[spoiler=R]River was born in Black City, and her family is really good at going bad things for money. She stole a Deino from her folks at age ten and set off to become a trainer of her own, but the typical Gym Leader challenges weren't able to satisfy her need to succeed after a bit. She learned about the Island Challenge and instead set sail for Alola. She knocked that out, and along the way, learned she really likes diving. Once her Island Challenge was clear, River decided to explore the underwater worlds surrounding other regions. Which was how she heard - while in Hoenn - about Kyogre, the king of the seas. She wanted Kyogre for herself to prove she was better than everyone else, but couldn't find it for a while. When she did, it ran away, and she tried again. The second time she found it, she became a Guardian, then got picked up by Aether International and now she's gonna help save the day.

Every sentence brings something new to the table, right? Now this paragraph is a bit beefy, but to be fair, I had a lot of bio to condense. It's okay if what you come up with for this step is short at first. Try to aim for at least five sentences. This is only the rough draft, after all.

Ask questions - Now, the reason my paragraph for the rough draft is so long is because I already did this step, but I digress. When you meet somebody and they tell you their life story, odds are they'll leave some details out. Let's make up a quick character called Stacey for this step. Stacey was born in a small town and raised by two loving, but strict, parents, did well in school, then went on to become an accountant or some other boring job. There's a lot we don't know, right? How were her parents strict? Did she have friends in school? How about her dreams; did she want to be an accountant, or was there something else she aspired to in life? This step is doing the same thing I just did for Stacey, but with your own character. Look at your rough draft from the perspective of somebody who didn't make your character, and ask yourself as many questions as possible. The hows and whys of a bio are very important, and you might learn something about your character even you didn't know! Make sure to answer the questions too. Write your questions and answers down if you have to.

Tell the story - So if you edit the answers to your questions into your rough draft, you should have a much longer draft. But that's still just a rough draft. This is the hard part, but also the one that extends bios from two paragraphs tops to five or more. With your rough draft and answered questions, sit down and think about the in-between stuff for those major life events. A story doesn't just go "intro -> major plot point -> major plot point -> climax -> end" right? There's stuff in between those plot points, filler or not. This step is figuring out the in-between. What happened to Stacey that she gave up wanting to be, say, a country singer, and settled for accountant instead? Maybe she learned she had a really bad singing voice and was too nervous to take classes. How about her job interview? Did it go smoothly, or was it an uphill battle? This is basically a step that involves doing the first two steps together for more minor stuff, then figuring out where it goes in the full product.

Doing all three of these steps together should get you at least three paragraphs of biography that tells us plenty of stuff about your character. If it helps, try doing these steps in reverse. Look at River's bio (or any bio except Emui's in my database thread if you want one I haven't already crunched down), see if you can pick out the major stuff, and condense it all into a paragraph or so that still gets the same general idea across. Once you know how to de-construct a bio, that should also help a bit with constructing your own :)

[spoiler=Hailey Callisto]

"There's so much to learn!"

General Info

Name: Hailey Callisto

Age: 22

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]

e1eyqIa.jpg

Height: 5'7" ~  17.78 cm

Weight: 131 lbs ~ 59.42 kg

Hidden by her knee in the above picture, Hailey wields a light-silver bracelet with a Key Stone embedded onto it around her right wrist; the color matching the silver trinket she wears on her hair. She bears her sigil on the back of her right hand - a 5 pointed star with a rather ominous looking eye in the middle of it. The coloration of the star matches the coloration of the iris of the eye - a deep teal color, while the scelra is a gold color. When she uses her powers, the iris of the ominous eye will glow.

[spoiler=Personality]

Compassionate would describe Hailey very well; she cares greatly about those close to her, whether they're in danger or going through some more emotional issues. She is also very cheery and happy, if a bit shy. She is very much an open book, sharing things about herself openly to people, and encouraging herself to do the same with her. When a situation goes bad, she is always looking at the bright side of the problem, although she herself isn't very good at thinking under pressure. She is naturally curious, wanting to know as much as she can about something that interests her. This has lead to her acting as a sort of walking encyclopedia, which she uses to help those around her either learn about something or get vital information.

She can be a bit of an airhead sometimes, despite her studious nature, and is overall rather clumsy. She also has a bad habit of focusing on something too much, forgetting about the things around her; this is most apparent when she is looking at space through her telescope. She is also quiet easily flustered, and is very expressive about her emotions. Her tenancy to want to help people and in general wanting to make everyone happy has lead her to getting in over her head many times, and it is likely that it will get her into trouble in the future as well.

[spoiler=Background]

Hailey was born in Mossdeep City as a single child, where she lived with her father for as long as she could remember. She has always had an attraction to space and, more specifically, starts; it is pretty easy to see why, as her father worked in the famous Mossdeep Space Center and took her there fairly often. While she had big aspirations of becoming an astronaut one day, she was also very interested in exploring the planet that she existed on. When she was ready to become a trainer, her father gave her a Porygon as her first of many partners in her journey.

She spent most of her adventure in Hoenn with her little Porygon, catching Pokemon that caught her interest, such as Solrock and Lunatone, and even challenging the occasional gym. She would spend many of her nights camping outside during her journey, gazing at the stars with her companions. Sometimes she would even pull out her telescope to see the stars up close, passing on the telescope to her Pokemon to let them see as well. One fateful night, she saw a rather bright shooting star. Naturally, she made a wish on it - the same wish she always made, to go to space -  but then noted that it was getting bigger and bigger. It took her a bit to realize what was happening, but then it hit her - well, almost hit her. The star had crashed behind her, leaving a crater in its wake. At the center of the crater was a Pokemon that she recognized almost instantly from her studies.

Jirachi laid there, clearly injured from some form of battle. Almost immediately, she rushed to the small star, taking it to her arms and rushing it to where she set up camp to try and aid its wounds. As she was taking care of the legendary, she took a vow to not only protect it, but also to keep its identity hidden. Whatever did this to Jirachi could be looking for it to finish the job, and Hailey was not about to let that happen.

As Hailey traveled, she started to travel past Hoenn, catching even more Pokemon to her collection. Of course, as she traveled, word of her Jirachi was starting to leak. One of the people that caught wind of this information was Aether International, whom offered to take in both Hailey and Jirachi to protect them. At first, she wasn't sure but she eventually accepted. Luckily she was already in the Alola Region at the time so there was no need for travel.

[spoiler=Guardian Abilities]

Serene Grace: Named after the ability Jirachi possess, Jirachi's Sigil grants Hailey with innate enhanced luck whenever her Sigil is active. She can also pass this ability onto other temporarily, although only one person can be enhanced with Serene Grace at a time.

Space Explorer:  The Sigil has transformed her biology, allowing her to not get popped like a balloon in space. This change in biology has also removed the need to breathe, meaning she can't be suffocated and she could technically "breathe" underwater. She can also propel herself very lightly in any direction - the impact of the force made by this is insignificant in all cases except when in space.

Gravitational Manipulation: With this ability, Hailey can control the strength of gravity in a certain area. She can also manipulate how gravity affects objects and people - including herself - making them seem light as a feather or as heavy as a building. The change in weight or gravitational force is not instantaneous, rather gradually ramping up to the desired strength.

[spoiler=Inventory]

Telescope: She carries around a small telescope, which she uses to star-see at night.

Key Bracelet: A thin, silver bracelet. There is a Key Stone embedded onto it, allowing Hailey to Mega Evolve her Pokemon.

Astrology Notebook: A worn down leather notebook filled to the brim with notes on cosmic bodies and Pokemon. It looks barely held together.

Slingshot: A small slingshot she uses to shoot small projects with - preferable the marbles she carries around, but anything will do. While it may not seem like its a potent weapon, it can do some damage when combined with her Gravity Manipulation.

Okay so I know I left some notes in the Skype chat, but I am going to leave some more detailed ones here now that I have had some time to really go over this in more detail.

The thing about your character's personality is that it reads really well, but when I am done reading it I realize I have absorbed none of it. Realizing this, I, naturally, read it again. Same thing. A couple more times. The problem repeats. Upon closer inspection, it's because a lot of your character's personality negates itself.

"She's a walking encyclopedia, but she is an airhead." ; "She is really optimistic in bad situations, but under pressure she doesn't function well." ; "She is very cheery and happy, but also shy and studious."

I would redo her personality. Pick a few central themes that are different, but not opposite and build around them. For some of the things above I think I understand what you are trying to say, like the encyclopedic airhead, the brainiac without common sense trope(?), but maybe still build on it or at least clarify a little better.

Your bio is pretty decent. Hits pretty much all the basics. It doesn't really touch on the UB Invasion, so you might want to consider that. Also the part about already being in Alola, I feel like I said this a lot in the explanation of the RP and I have said in the Skype chat at least once, but it bares repeating: the Aether International HQ moves. It is a moving island. A ship, if you will. A very large ship. It circumnavigates the ocean. So, the RP will not solely take place in Alola. This has been a PSA

As for gravity powers, I have thought about it more, gonna have to nix those. They just leave themselves open to abusement. I have some ideas for modifications if you would like to message me on skype or you can change to a different power. Either way, shoot me a message if you have questions or comments/just want to chat.

[spoiler=Portals are Fun]Name: Lin Ortez

Age: 17

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]QPC04g9.jpg

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 101 lbs.

She has bright blue eyes and a yellow hoodie instead of what the above image shows. Her Guardian Sign is located on the back of her left hand and appears as two golden rings interlocked with eachother. One ring is faded, which represents Hoopa's dormant Unbound Form.

[spoiler=Personality]Lin is a very kind and compassionate person, caring about the well being of her pokemon and friends. Since becoming the Guardian of the legendary pokemon Hoopa, Lin has developed a bit of a mischievous side to her, always helping Hoopa to perform harmless little tricks on other members of Aether International and raiding the berry storage every now and then. Of course, after a berry raid, Lin is willing to share her loot with her friends, but if she ever gets caught, she tries to make up for it in the end. She has a curiosity towards ghost types despite her apparent psychic themed team which may explain her Chandelure, Darkfire. On off days, Lin likes to dance with her Oricorio or even draw little doodles of her fellow AI members or of her pokemon. Lin hates to admit it, but she actually has a fear of the dark. At night time she would have her Malamar, Manus, lighting up the area around her and when she heads to bed she leaves a Dedenne night light on in her room.

[spoiler='Background]Long before she became a Guardian, Lin was known as the adorable assistant to the Daycare Couple in Kalos. She was always in a good mood to help and would always bring a smile to the people and pokemon who stopped by the Daycare. On most days, Lin could be seen sharing a meal with the pokemon in the Daycare, which would explain her apparent love for berries. She loved working at the Daycare and she only worked there out of the kindness of her heart and never in the hopes of gaining something in return. Years later, after training her pokemon in the Battle Chateau, Lin decided to take a little vacation to the tropical region of Alola.

It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Kalos and served as her first time outside her home region. It was here that she came to love the tropical atmosphere and where she befriended her sweet Oricorio, Berry. She also ended up befriending something more special, the Trickster Portal pokemon, Hoopa.

Hoopa and Lin got along with eachother right away, while it was unusual for a pokemon to talk back to her, Lin looked past this fact. They quickly became friends, but it wasn't long until Aether International found them and took them to safety. Having mixed feelings about AI, Lin reluctantly joined Aether International and upon learning about the threat of the Ultra Beasts realized her new purpose as a guardian. That realization doesn't stop her though from raiding AI's berry stores with Hoopa. Even though she is now being hunted by interdimensional pokemon and a long ways from home, Lin still enjoys her "little" vacation.

Nickname: N/A

Gender: N/A

Moveset: Hyperspace Hole, Shadow Ball, Calm Mind, Mean Look

Ability: Trickster

Item: N/A

Misc: Lin's Guardian legendary and her main source of berries for her team.

[spoiler=Powers/Abilities/Weapons/Inventory]Dimensional Warp: Much like her Guardian pokemon Hoopa, Lin is able to create golden rings that serve as portals for transportation. These portals are large enough to transport a group of people, but require more energy depending on how many people are being transported. Lin also needs to be the last person to enter the portal as she's the one keeping it open, making her extremely vulnerable.

Strange Souvenir: An unusual artifact depicting a legendary pokemon of the Alola region. Serves no purpose and is simply a little trinket Lin carries around that reminds her of her vacation in Alola

Max Revives ×5: Medicinal items that Lin keeps around for emergencies. As the name suggests, these revive a pokemon back to full strength.

Mega Bracelet: Lin wasn't one for using Z-moves, so she opted to go with Mega Evolution instead.

Misc Information: Theme Music:

Battle Music:

Lin can usually be seen eating berries with her pokemon and playing with them.

The personality trait that I see commonly repeated in this RP and all across Pokemon RPs is kindness. Kindness and compassion. I have seen those two words more times than I can count associated with Pokemon RP characters. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, if that's how you think your character's personality should be, then that's how they should be. However, saying they are kind and compassionate to people and Pokemon is not where the buck stops. Often when we write sentences like that it gets hard for us to write anything more becuase...well what else is there to say? They are a nice person. They are nice to not only people...but also Pokemon! Well come on. They are a protag for a Pokemon RP, this was pretty much already assumed. In all reality what you've told us is something we pretty much could've guessed about your character. What we need is how they show that kindness or when they don't. Almost the entirety of your personality refers to Pokemon. As in your character's compassion towards Pokemon. Their fascination towards Pokemon. Venture into something else. They have more depth. Explore it. What shaped them? Are they a detail oriented person or a goal oriented person? Are they idealistic? Are their morals strong? Why or why not? Afraid of anything? Why? Keep asking these questions.

Bio was pretty standard. It could definitely use some work. Yui's got that covered with his guide though. I suppose what really bothered me was how everything just kept falling perfectly into the characters lap. It wasn't really explained how they managed to befriend Hoopa, we were just supposed to accept Hoopa's appearance. Only obstacle is that he's a little mouthy. Also no real mention of the UBs. How come they didn't impact your character?

Finally, your warping powers. There needs to be a limit. Either a severe distance limit and cool down time. Or you can only open up small portals. Ones that humans couldn't fit through. Personally, I'd go through the small ones that humans couldn't fit through. You can use that offensively.

EDIT: If anyone needs to talk to me about anything I've said here, always feel free to message me on skype or PM(god, how archaic). My intention is never to offend, so I apologize if that's how it comes across. I definitely just want to be constructive. I know rhetorical questions sometimes come across as condescending, so I apologize for using them so frequently. However, they do convey the most information efficiently. Also Sai, I am about to look at your app.

SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST BUT sheet HAPPENS

[spoiler=Guardian of Order]
Name: Kogu Avateg
Age: 20
Gender: Male
[spoiler=Appearance]
ClCWBga.jpg
Height: 5'11
Weight: 190 lbs
On the back of his right hand, Zygarde's Sigil is engraved into it, a large green Z.

[spoiler=Personality]The two words anyone who met this tall man would use to describe him is 'Overly Cheerful'. He's passionate about anything he does, always in high gear when other people are around. He's not very secretive, answering any question one would ask him. He takes insults directed at him without reaction, however, never insult his friends or Pokemon. It's never a good thing to do.

He is a caring person, wanting to help any pokemon and human he meets, which is why waiting in the Aether Foundation drives him crazy, and he constantly tries to escape. He's a bit oblivious, not noticing when people don't want his help. However, if someone is forceful enough, he will get the hint and leave them alone.

However, when someone threatens a Pokemon or person, a flip switches. He gets angry, and he does his best to stop someone from hurting anyone else. He has seen enough people suffer, and he wants to stop it any time he sees it.

[spoiler=Background]Kogu grew up a normal kid in Alola, doing the island challenge. Nothing unusual happened to him, no grant adventure, no great crisis. Just a boy and his pokemon traveling the four islands. No, nothing odd happened until after he challenged the league. He was able to overcome the Elite Four, but not the Champion of Alola.

After his performance against the Elite Four, Kogu was approached by Nitusa Labs, who asked him to help with an experiement. He agreed, need in the money,mand they put him to work immediately.

The labs handled a wide manner of experiments there, however, their most secretive is their Dual Experimentative Layered Type Acquisition, or D.E.L.T.A. Project. The project was intended to change the typing of a Pokemon and in the process, its physiology and moves to match. Kogu’s job was to test the Pokemon in battle after the procedure was complete. However, he never got the chance to do so.. Before he got the chance to battle the Pokemon, they would die, most of the time within in seconds of being subjected to the procedure. One Machamp managed to survive a day in agony before dying.

Kogu was bound by contract and thinly veiled threats not to say anything to the authorities. So he was trapped to just watch it all unfold. Finally it seemed that the D.E.L.T.A. Project was a success. A Scizor had been transplanted with an Ice/Fighting type genome and appeared to be resting comfortably. As the scientists and doctors were celebrating, Kogu stole the Scizor’s Pokeball and left the lab behind, destroying all their research and burning down the labs in the process. That day, he swore to himself he would never let people suffer because of his lack of actions again.

He stayed on the run for a few months, making sure the Scizor and all his other pokemon were okay as they travelled through the wildness, trying to stay off the radar. One night though, as he looked up to the stars, he noticed an explosion in the sky, and what seemed to be a bunch of green stars scattering across the night sky.

Then he noticed one was headed right his way. A Zygarde Core crashed into his chest. It seemed that Zygarde went to battle the Ultra Beasts, but was overwhelmed when they ganged up on him. They caused him to split into 100 cells, which Zygarde had lost contact with. Kogu agreed to help Zygarde rebuild himself. A green Z engraved itself onto his hand, proving that he was the guardian of Zygarde.

He spent a month traveling around, finding 23 pieces of Zygarde. During this time, the Aether Foundation had found him. He agreed to go with them, thinking he would help save the world, but to his dismay, they kept him locked on the floating island with the other guardians. Frustrated, he constantly tries to escape, and is constantly foiled.

Just for critique purposes, if you are interested: I felt like the personality was something I had seen a lot. I think we all fall into ruts when we apply to Pokemon RPs. "Loves Pokemon. Will protect Pokemon. Protect friends. At any costs." These just become character traits that worm their way into our characters. Now I mean we've talked about how this applies to your character. Like Kogu's seen Pokemon be medically tortured, so naturally he would want to save them. However, his personality by itself, especially coupled with the overly cheerful part, it all felt very familiar. That said, it was well written which I appreciated and to reiterate given the context of your bio it makes total sense.

The falling into the rut thing is just something you may want to be aware of. It's just something I've noticed with a lot of RPers.

Overall, very well done. I like the character a lot!!

Please don't decide to leave. I would be very sad. I mean I know you are busy and are trying to balance your schedule and everything, but don't leave~

[spoiler=The Last Admin]
Name: Sineva Bulovnova Molodetsova
Age: 46
Gender: Female
[spoiler=Appearance]
Sineva is a statuesque woman of Slavic ethnicity with a stunning face that she partially hides behind a pair of polarized sunglasses, a pale complexion that is only marred by a beauty mark below her lip on the left side of her face, long platinum-blonde hair that comes down to the base of her spine, usually tied into a braid or a ponytail when needed, but often let loose when she needs to relax. While she is in her mid-40s, she has managed to maintain her beauty, and looks easily half her age, or in her late 20s at most. She is usually clad in a tight black bodysuit with various zippers to modify it, such as making it sleeveless for warmer climates, removing the leg sections for use as a bathing suit, or unzipping the front to show off her cleavage for...various purposes. She also wears a pair of similar boots, and sometimes gloves of the same material, though a pair of silver bangles work as well. However, this, in turn, is normally underneath a black leather trenchcoat or a grey fur coat with a white hood, both of which have the red "R" of Team Rocket emblazoned on them on the left breast. Said symbol is also placed on her bodysuit's left breast. She typically wears a black and silver belt with Team Rocket's symbol on the buckle and various pouches where she keeps her Pokeballs, Potions, and other items, and her trenchcoat also stores more items inside. Finally, while she hates taking off her sunglasses due to a low light tolerance, her irises are a deep blood-red. Located above her cleavage and below her collarbone is the symbol of Heatran, her Legendary. The symbol is a pair of crimson ovals, one inside the other, with two rectangular bars to either side of the outer oval, resembling Heatran's metal crest on its head.

[spoiler=Personality]
Sineva had very little growing up, and Team Rocket offered her a way out of selling her body and to be a part of something larger, which led to her utter inability to let the organization die on her watch, as Team Rocket is all she has. Due to her intense devotion to Team Rocket and what it has given her, Sineva's personnel look up to her as their superior and will do just about anything upon her orders. As a combat officer, she is a skilled strategist and well-rounded fighter, capable of taking care of herself, despite the fact that all of her underlings often worry for her. Although she has shown herself to be rather cynical on occasion, she is also a pragmatic and professional businesswoman, easily muscling into Sinnoh after Team Galactic was destroyed, keeping a low profile from the International Police, and maintaining her station up until the Ultra Beasts began invading. However, she has trust issues from spending so much time in a cutthroat environment such as Team Rocket, especially when it comes to younger people. Her experiences as a Grunt taught her that young Trainers were the bane of her organization's existence, and the subsequent years have seen further empirical evidence of that fact, as other villainous organizations fell one after another to twerps that simply refused to stay out of business that wasn't theirs. She can be seen as aloof and cold, but is a mother to her Grunts and other personnel, and tries her hardest to protect them, despite their nature to fall in battle to defend her.

[spoiler=Background]
Sineva was born to an alcoholic, barely-there father that abused her and her mother, and a mother forced to "work odd hours" to help make ends meet. Despising her limited paths out of her miserable existence, Team Rocket presented itself to her through some local contacts as another option that didn't involve becoming a "lady of the night" like her mother. Through hard work and dedication, she proved herself as a capable Grunt, and got to see Team Rocket at its strongest, which left a huge impression on her. This made their fall into nothingness due to the actions of an up-and-coming Trainer even more heartbreaking, and she kept with the faction of Team Rocket that went underground in Johto. Even their renewal three years later did nothing to turn the situation around, especially after another "twerp" defeated the Admins in charge. Dejected, Sineva took matters into her own hands, and led a hardcore splinter cell of Team Rocket to Sinnoh, where a power vacuum had formed from the destruction of Team Galactic. Taking advantage of the chaos to pit various enemies against each other while she built up her strength, Sineva emerged on top as the defacto leader of the Sinnoh criminal underworld. Using a low profile to avoid the International Police, Sineva made her organization have a militant bent to allow for better control, and minded her own business...until the Ultra Beasts arrived.

At first, things were going better than ever for Team Rocket. The increased strain and chaos made their job easier, as they could start acting more and more in the open with no resistance, but soon, other criminal syndicates, kept humble by Sineva's lordship, started to try and make headway in their own activities. Across Sinnoh, gang warfare was about to add to the anarchy, but that's when Team Rocket realized that everyone else was NOT containing the Ultra Beasts, and the Ultra Beasts were much more dangerous than anyone thought. Team Rocket needed a functioning society to leech off of, and that functioning society had been tearing apart at the seams while they were splurging. Quickly acting to declare a ceasefire, Sineva tenuously united Sinnoh's criminals in open war against the Ultra Beasts, but with Jellies poisoning anything their tentacle could reach, Skeeters smashing through rebar like rice paper, Sirens turning even the strongest wills to their side, Sappers feeding off of the electrical grid, Boomers obliterating anything that twitched into a fireball, Ninjas slicing through any material that got in their way, and Fatsos devouring whatever was around them, the criminals could not do what the military failed.

So Sineva executed a Plan B: launch a refurbished airship and cut her losses. Someone, somewhere had to have the answer to this crisis, and she headed south, where the Aether Foundation, the ones that found the Ultra Wormholes, were located. Since then, she and her dwindling force have been helping Aether International under the promise of a full pardon and erasure of the entire group's criminal records once the crisis abates. She has also handed over all of the researchers she had on her payroll to Aether International, in the hopes that their lack of morals and ethics will let them think of solutions that more stable minds can't or won't consider. During one mission to an outlying volcanic island, she encountered the legendary Pokemon Heatran, who let her catch it and made her its Guardian. Now with a legendary Pokemon and her new heat powers, she finds herself forced to work with the other Guardians instead of go on her own missions with her own personnel, especially since most of the Guardians are half her age.

[spoiler=Powers/Abilities/Weapons/Inventory]
As Heatran's Guardian, Sineva has gained the power to manipulate the thermal energies around her to bend the Laws of Thermodynamics, creating heat were there was none, which can be further extended to make flames and then control them. However, she still doesn't have very effective control over this power due to her tenuous connection with her Legendary, and doesn't have as much vigor as the younger Guardians, so using her powers tires her out faster.

She also has a variety of capture balls, healing items, and repels in her various pockets and pouches, as well as a smartphone to contact her personnel. She doesn't carry any weapons on her person, preferring to let her Pokemon do her fighting for her.

Other Information:

[spoiler=Sineva's Branch]
Appearance: Sineva's division of Rocket Grunts usually wear heavier clothes than their old Kanto and Johto counterparts due to the colder climate of Sinnoh. These grunts typically wear dark-grey turtlenecks, leather suspenders with pockets, and military-grade pants with black combat boots and leather gloves, as well as dark-grey trenchcoats and scarves. The red "R" of Team Rocket is emblazoned on the left breast of the trenchcoat, and across the chest of the turtleneck. Male Grunts wear a dark-grey ushanka with Team Rocket's symbol, while female Grunts have a black papakha with the same symbol. In warmer climates, the trenchcoats and scarves are taken off, and the sleeves of the turtlenecks rolled up, or traded for more typical Team Rocket tops.

Notable Members:
[spoiler=Lieutenant Katyusha]
One of the best pilots in Sineva's employ, Katyusha is characterized by her small stature, her black hair tied into a bun, her sharp icy-blue eyes, and the pilot's cap and headphones she wears, though she puts the headphones around her neck when not in use. She is the pilot of Sineva's personal gunship, the Zharptitsa (Firebird), and has a Skarmory for personal use.

[spoiler=Captain Viktor Topolov]
Captain of the Rocket airship Snezhnaya Koroleva (Snow Queen), Topolov has served Team Rocket longer than Sineva has, piloting airships for Rocket since their prime, and especially during their ambitious projects on Mount Quena. With grey in his slicked-back black hair and trimmed black beard, he looks like an evil Commander Riker, especially with the officer's cap over his steely-gray eyes. Loyal to the cause, and especially his Admin, he always keeps his cool, especially as her de-facto second-in-command. He keeps a Probopass as his helmsman, the noses used to rotate the wheel and flip switches and move levers.

[spoiler=Sergeant Sotka]
A young leader of Sineva's meager Rocket forces, Sotka wears a more traditional Team Rocket cap with a red trim around the base, and a red bandanna in addition to his usual attire, and has his brown hair shaved with the sides bare. Sotka is motivated and eager to please his Admin, but a bit unruly and rash, preferring to jump into the fight first rather than assess the situation. He generally leads the charge of his platoon of Grunts, one of Sineva's few remaining platoons, along with his Toxicroak.

Craft:

[spoiler=The Zharptitsa]
Back when Team Rocket was not a shadow of its former self, in exile in Sinnoh, Giovanni had his very own gunship to travel across the world, showing his power over the underworld of his regions. With modern innovations in the years since, Sineva has purchased an upgraded version of her superior's black gunship, now with new technology. In addition to several toys onboard, and comfortable seating for several, the Zharptitsa, or "Firebird", can convert from a rotor-based VTOL Mode to a jet-engine-based Flight Mode and vice-versa, and is better hardened against the extreme conditions Sinnoh has to offer.

[spoiler=The Snezhnaya Koroleva]
The last of Team Rocket's veritable air fleet, the Snezhnaya Koroleva, or "Snow Queen", was practically rebuilt from the ground up as Sineva's getaway vehicle from Sinnoh in the event that the situation in the region became untenable, which it quickly did due to the Ultra Beasts. Rechristened as such by Sineva herself, the huge blimp has been upgraded to have compartmentalized pockets of inert helium with a smart membrane to patch seals, solar panels across the envelope to power the onboard electronics, vector thrusters for better thrust and maneuverability, and a robust gondola that has a small hangar and hardpoints for the small group of helicopters Sineva's group has left.

[spoiler=Helicopters]
The Snezhnaya Koroleva keeps a quartet of parasite helicopters attached to its underside, and the parts onboard to equip them for a variety of roles. Their rear sections can be modified to accomodate personnel, cargo, be given a series of magnetic clamps to pick up and carry large objects, a suite of offensive weaponry to act as a gunship, or a large fuel tank for long-range reconnaissance. The airship has room for six, but has lost two, and her crews, on the journey from Sinnoh to Alola.

[spoiler=Powers/Abilities/Weapons/Inventory]

As Heatran's Guardian, Sineva has gained the power to manipulate the thermal energies around her to bend the Laws of Thermodynamics, creating heat were there was none, or destroying heat to make cold, usually by accessing some sort of reserve of thermal energy below the surface of the Earth, resulting in her powers being a bit stronger if she is touching the ground. This has a variety of applications, from letting her create and manipulate fire, to doing the same with cold and ice, and even some manipulation of the weather around her by manipulating temperature differentials on a larger scale. However, this power, while immense, is also very draining on her, especially if she is not touching the ground, and she cannot use it for long without needing to either cool off herself or warm back up, depending on what she is doing.

She also has a variety of capture balls, healing items, and repels in her various pockets and pouches, as well as a smartphone to contact her personnel. She doesn't carry any weapons on her person, preferring to let her Pokemon do her fighting for her.

[spoiler=The Snezhnaya Koroleva]

[spoiler=Helicopters]

[spoiler=The Last Admin]

Name: Sineva Bulovnova Molodetsova

Age: 46

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]

[spoiler=Personality]

She has learned to rid herself of her Volgan accent, and speaks without one, but when her emotions run high, that accent begins to show, and when especially stressed, she starts speaking Volgan, as if she was talking normally.

[spoiler=Background]

Someone, somewhere had to have the answer to this crisis, and she headed for Alola, where the Aether Foundation, the ones that found the Ultra Wormholes, were located.

[spoiler=Powers/Abilities/Weapons/Inventory]

Other Information:

[spoiler=Sineva's Branch]

[spoiler=Lieutenant Katyusha]

[spoiler=Captain Viktor Topolov]

[spoiler=Sergeant Sotka]

Okay so the only problem I really have with the personality is that you still mention her Volgan accent, and we've already discussed the problem with that. If you just mention that she slips into a strange accent, something we would recognize as Russian, your character's flavor wouldn't really be ruined. Otherwise the personality and bio seem pretty good.

Your power seems to be a bit...much. Heat manipulation. Ice manipulation. Weather control. I see you put in a lot of nerfs in there. But still. It's not like you need all that, regardless of whether or not the thermal manipulation actually allows for it all. We've already got a lot of weather manipulation going on in the RP. Definitely strike that.

Also even though I 'okay'd' you having a few grunts that survived the UB invasion, I want to just make clear that they are essentially NPCs. They will be at Aether and will simply be for flavor.

Also, and apparently this needs repeating...again: Aether International isn't in Alola. So the 'crew that is on the journey from Sinnoh to Alola'...they will find nothing but islands and inter-dimensional invaders there.

Guess who it is? It's your favorite host with the most double posts.

Anyway, added a few names to our accepted character lists.

Dan & Rep

Champion has decided to withdraw and Tes is taking a step back. I've agreed to keep their spot reserved for awhile, even after we get started.

Speaking of getting started!

There was an informal deadline of today, announced in the Skype message. I think everyone has received some type of feedback on the application, either here or in skype, if their application has not been accepted. So. All finished applications need to be in by noon CDT on the 26th. I'll allow for a couple hours margin, just because time zones are a jabroni~, but yeah that deadline is gonna be a pretty hard deadline. I'll be traveling on the 26th, so hopefully when I get home that afternoon, all apps will be in and that night I can get the IC up.

I know I've said this before, but I'm just a little worried with some of the other reminders I've had to give out. Your characters know each other. They should've been recruited a month or two ago. Some of them maybe more. So, no awkward introduction posts. There can still be a little getting to know you, because you won't know everything about them. Obviously you'd just just be living in the same place as that person, but your character would definitely be kind of familiar with their personality. Definitely their name. So yeah. another PSA.

Comment your favorite Pokemon if you read this.

I AM VERY EXCITED FOR THIS RP!!!

Also just in case you guys want this for your posts:

- you can swipe them up to three times a day in the cafeteria to get food

- if you have clearance for certain areas, you can use it to get into them...none of y'all do
