[Finished]It's Time To Dance! Card Contest

Hello fellow dancer duelists? Are you ready to get up en pointe and start grooving and hopping?

The rules here are simple: Make 3 or more cards based on a Dance type. Any type of dance you'd like. Ballet, Bharatanatyam, Line Dancing. Anything! 1 card must be a spell or trap.

The cards will be judged like so:
10 total points

Balance: 3 Points

Does the card work well in the current TCG state or would it make a "Dancer" deck too powerful?

Flavor: 2 Points

How well does the dance style you came chose show in the cards?

Synergy: 4 Points

How well do the cards you created work well together?

Creativity: 1 Points

How "different" is your effect? How necessary is your effect? Did you just rip off another effect?

The Entry Deadline as well as when I need all cards entered into the contest is 12/30/16. Cards will be judged by Christmas Day.

Entry fee is 10 points.

Prizes:

1st Place:100 Points

2nd Place:50 Points

3rd Place:25 Points

I'll be joining the competition, but how should I submit the entries? Also, is there a maximum number of cards allowed for the archetype? I've created 9 for the entirety of the archetype. Also, are the grades for each card submitted, or for the archetype in its entirety? Will there be additional judges, or will you be judging the entries exclusively? Merry Christmas BTW!

Note: Even if the competition is a first for you, I'd suggest either bumping up the prize pool, requiring an entry fee, having a donated pool which you can split between the winners, or no rewards at all excluding rep and the likes. 20 points isn't a great incentive for winning on its own. If you need additional points to distribute, I'll donate a few for entry, if you'd be willing to accept.

<---- You can see I have enough.

To be fair, the submission deadline technically ended for the majority of you (right now, it's just about to end due to timezone for Major); for reference, it's slight past quarter to 10 where I am on Christmas Day (and Hawai'i has the latest timezone out of everyone here).

But yeah, some general tips:

  • Prizes need to be higher; you can look at what Major and I are offering for our respective contests (well, I can give custom member groups due to staff powers and higher point awards). Reps/likes are certainly doable, or you can request for point assistance.
    • (20 points is the equivalent of a thread posting or 2 replies, which isn't much.)
  • General recommendation is to make entries singular cards, so it's easier for you to grade. There is nothing wrong with multiple card entries though.
