Yu-Gi-Oh! Fallen Hope (OOC/Accepting/PG-13)

Yuya-Kun

Recommended Posts

100 years ago, a boy named Yugi Moto recreated a 5000 year old artefact, The Millennium Puzzle. With the Puzzle, Yugi became a much better duelist, gaining the Title: King of Games! But now, 100 years later, Yugi and his friends are put to rest and the puzzle is safely kept hidden in an ancient pyramid. During this time of peace, Duel Monsters evolved, into a game of Pedal to the Metal, or Entertainment or EVEN Education. But now, a man named Yukotsa Sentai has stolen the Millenium puzzle, he is infused with the Pharoah's power. With this power he battled from the Slum of Di'Jayo City, to rule over it with an Iron fist. Rare hunter's were released into the streets, to find and round up rare cards. The citizens terrified, drove into hiding, and D'Jayo City became a Dark and desolate place. But there is still one thing keeping this City going, Rebellions. These rebellions, with different squadron's, are holding the city, trying to fight Yukotsa

[spoiler=Yukotsa]

Name: Yukotsa Sentai

Age: 23

Appearance: 7d124974366d982e79def95b53e6c719.jpg

Biography: Yukotsa was born into the Slums of Di'Jayo. His father left his mother, and his mother committed suicide, making him a lonely and fearful child. He never had a friend, they thought him below them, which wasn't fair. With his little education, he picked up a game he heard of and started to play: Duel Monsters. No-one would know that the youngest Entertainment/Riding Duelist, would become their biggest nightmare. From the slums, he heard of Yugi Moto and his friends, and their legendary feats. He became more and more interested, and learned more until he knew the key to Yugi's success. The Millennium Puzzle. For years it was locked away, never to be seen. That was, of course, until Yukotsa found it. He became infused with the Pharaohs power, and rised from the slums into the top, enforcing his power on those who opposed him. He became the king of a city that brought him disgust. He brought dark times to Di'Jayo.

Personality: All you can expect from a man like this? Ruthless, he didn't let ANYONE get in his way, child or adult. Mean, he beat opponents and humiliated them in front of everyone. Cold, he didn't care about the blood that was spilling on the floor, or the people that were dying, that wasn't his problem. And finally, Selfish, he never gave away a single card, and only let the Rare Hunter's keep cards because of his instincts.

My Character

[spoiler=The Cold]

Name: Thomas Dean

Age: 15

Appearance: fcf00f7f9ec7b67f7f1deb0c3107ed2a.jpg

Rebellion: Dark Magician

Biography: Before the reign of Yukotsa, Thomas was a normal kid. Going to school, dueling friends, all that fun stuff. But since Yukotsa's take-over, it got different. His favourite card stolen, his father kidnapped, and the streets of his neighbourhood a darker place, Di'Jayo was looking quite dim to Thomas. On a tracking mission to find a friends card, he caught up with some rare hunters, who dueled him, and beat him, before taking his prised possession. Alone on the streets, the Dark Magician Rebellion found him and took him in, and he soon climbed the ranks to Lieutenant Commander. The Happiness of the world was out of the way, it was every man for himself now. All Thomas knows is this, His father is NOT alone.

Personality: Before the take-over, he was a Kind hearted, funny guy, and was quite a charmer. He never gave up a duel, and he never traded a card. He respected his friends and people around him so much, and would not like to see his world go to bits. Then Yukatsu came along, and Thomas Changed. He became less Funny, more serious, but that doesn't mean he didn't crack a joke when he wanted to. He never met a man he didn't trust at first, and never took someone in without seeing their strength first. This made him a bit arrogant, enforcing his team to do the commander's bidding AT ALL COSTS. He didn't have is charm anymore, and he became emotionally unbalanced, letting off steam when he wanted. But trust me, the real Thomas is in there.

[spoiler=The Fighting King]

Name: Alex Solomon

Age: 17

Rebellion: Flame Swordsman

[spoiler=Appearance] e0cb5b3d985c44a2285c8926c82371d4.jpg

Biography: Alex has always been a punk in school, dueling younger and weaker students to steal their favorite cards, refusing rematches to anyone that wanted them back, and just being a general nuance to everyone. Eventually he was sought out by the rare hunters for his collection, he was able to easily defeat a few but eventually he was overwhelmed and most of the more valuable parts of his collection was stolen, eventually the Flame Swordsman rebellion came to his aid, driving out the rare hunters. Alex soon asked to join their ranks in order to get revenge on the rare hunters for picking a fight with him. After proving himself in a duel he was initiated into the group, while he is still incredibly rude to everyone he stopped taking peoples cards and picking fights with weaker duelists after joining, to focused on reclaiming his stolen hoard to bother.

Personality: Alex doesn't really care much what others think of him so unless you're some how able to impress him he'll most likely treat you like dirt, the only thing he seems to care about is his vast collection of cards, no matter how weak or worthless your favorite card is he'll want it if he doesn't have a copy, collecting just for the sake of it. As a result he's run out of storage space and keeps several cards not in his deck with him as good luck charms. should you try to even touch any of his cards he'll freak out and possibly even hit you.

(This looks like fun! I'm in!)

Name: Yoichi Nagata

Age: 19

Rebellion: None. He's just hanging out helping people in need.

Appearance: To match his energetic personality, Yoichi wears a very bright and colorful outfit primarily consisting of the colors Blue and Yellow. He sports a blue zip-up hoodie with a bright yellow button-up shirt underneath. He also wears khaki cargo shorts and a special deck box that attaches to his belt for quick access to his deck. His shoes are a bright ocean blue with hints of yellow stripes flowing across it. His duel disk is a custom recoloring of a KC mass production disk with a Blue and Yellow color scheme. The normally white outer shell of the disk is painted an ocean blue while the normally red center plate holding the graveyard is painted a golden yellow. The card zones are now painted white rather than red. This cost Yoichi a large sum of money, and so he had to borrow a lot of it from his friends after many duels.

Yoichi's hair is a dark-chocolate brown that constantly curls despite all of his attempts to straighten it down with a comb. It often gets in the way of Yoichi's face, causing him to constantly move it away with his hands if he doesn't use something to keep it calm. He also has a rather bushy eyebrows and sideburns that are the most noteworthy when looking at him. His eyes are a very dark blue hue, but people hardly ever see Yoichi's full eyes as he squints and closes his eyes frequently. His face is rather diamond-shaped, and his cheekbones aren't very defined. His skin is a light tan but not pale. Yoichi is definitely not someone who looks obviously musclar or heroic, as he is just a tad overweight and most certainly out of shape.

Biography:

Yoichi was born into a family of high standards. Although they were a generally well-off middle class family, Yoichi's parents expected nothing less than perfection from everything that he did. His entire span of school life was a constant roller coaster due to his sometimes failing grades. He would often get his deck taken from him by his parents so that he could focus more on grades. Yoichi tried to look on the bright side of the massive piles of homework laid out before him, as it could have possibly helped him in thinking of tactics in duels. Despite all of the punishments that Yoichi endured, he always knew it was from his parents' care for him.

A large majority of Yoichi's friends were found through Duel Monsters. On many occasions after school, duels would be constantly going on. Yoichi often acted as the judge when he didn't duel, because during high school most of his friends played Duel Monsters on a table rather than using Duel Disks. Because of the time he spent dueling and being a judge, he grew a very strong bond with his old friends that was soon severed when Yoichi's father was forced to move with his family to D'Jayo City, where Yoichi painstakingly completed high school friendless and alone. In order to cheer him up, Yoichi's parents bought him a KC Mass Produced Duel Disk, which he would then get painted a year later. Now that Yoichi was out of High School, he wanted to focus on being the best duelist he could be. His goal would soon come to a screeching halt when D'Jayo City erupted into civil war. Not wanting to take a side, Yoichi tried his best to ease some of the conflict going on, but to no avail so far.

Personality: Yoichi is extremely energetic. That would be the first thing that many would point out at first glance, as this is the most dominant factor of his personality. However, those that know him the most know that he is very loyal and dedicated to making people happy. If given the choice, Yoichi prefers to be merciful in situations where he needs to compete against someone, and tries his best to make a compromise to make even his opponents happier. When one of his friends is gloomy, he tries to cheer them up by being simply energetic and optimistic. His most glaring weakness in his personality is that he is very critical of himself and has a very low sense of confidence. He often doubts himself as a duelist, and doesn't know whether or not he wants to continue playing, although he has fun when losing. When Yoichi is not playing Duel Monsters, he is most likely on his computer writing code, as he wants to be a card designer working for Kaiba Corp when he grows up.

Deck: Yoichi uses a Zap Mustung deck, focusing on a lot of stun techniques (Such as Thunder King Rai-Oh and Denko Sekka) to prevent his opponent from playing.

[spoiler=Solo Rebel: Nightmare Edition]

Name:  Percival Jackson

Age: 17

Appearance: tumblr_static_tumblr_mxr9s336uh1rye1gyo15'10" 140 lbs. Pretty lanky-looking, but he's actually in rather great shape, leaving most people surprised at his physical strength. His signature outfit consists of jeans, T-shirt, and a fluffy hoodie. He also wears a pair of wireless headphones around his neck, which he wears in a Duel to help him concentrate.

Biography: Percival was your average kid...

OK, he was literally the furthest thing from average.

A middle child in a family of five kids, he was viciously teased and bullied for being a tad over-emotional and when he sought help in the people he should have been able to trust, his family, they too criticized him, told him to "suck it up" and "be a man". With no-one willing to help him, Percival ran away from home at the age of 8. In a few mere days, he was hopelessly lost, and in hindsight, he found some irony in that he had also lost all hope. But then, he heard engines around him, and he was quickly surrounded by a gang of vicious-looking Street Duelists. Before any of them could say a word, he burst into tears, cowering in fear. After a few minutes of this, Percival found one of the gang members picking him up and patting him on the back. "There we go, kiddo. Get those tears out where they belong." He said, and Percival found himself hugging back.

Once he'd calmed down, the gang members, called the Soldiers of the Street, took Percival to their leader. Their leader happened to be the most intimidating woman Percival had ever met: Tall, blonde, strong, and beautiful beyond the eight-year-old's wildest dreams. Angela was her name. When Angela asked what the heck was going on (she had to curb her language in front of a child) Percival replied with, "You're beautiful."

This, naturally, won her over instantly on the sheer innocence and honesty of this ragged little runaway. Angela was a huge softie for kids, and when she realized this kid was A. a tortured soul, B. adamant on not going back to the people that hurt him, and C. completely oblivious to the miracle that was Duel Monsters, she just had to save this poor child. Angela put together a deck of leftover cards, shuffled it, and tossed it into the air, scattering them across the floor. "Pick one, pipsqueak," she said, "It'll say something about who you are."

Picking up a monster called "Starry-Eyes Dream Dragon", he asked "What does this mean?" Angela took it from his hands and laughed. "No matter how much stronger, smarter or better your opponent is, kid," She smiled, "You'll rise to the challenge. Not because you think you can win. Because it's right."

The Soldiers of the Street took care of Percival for a long time. They taught him how to Duel, they homeschooled him, they let him help repair their Runners and Disks. He was the kid in a big family of dangerous people. For 8 whole years, Percival felt loved.

8 years later, the Soldiers of the Street went after Yukotsa, but they didn't tell Percival. They lost, and well.. you know what happens when you lose to Yukotsa...

This broke Percival. Half his life he'd lived with these people, and now they were gone. Darkness took hold of him again, and he discovered a new kind of feeling. One he hadn't felt for his original family, or the bullies who picked on him... For the first time, he knew rage and hatred. This twisted his sense of right and wrong, and he became obsessed with revenge. This also twisted the spirits of his Deck, turning his Dreams into Nightmares. Now, he wants nothing more than to tear Yukotsa down, and he'll do whatever it takes to accomplish this. He's done training, and now he plans to make sure that even if Yukotsa beats him, he and everyone else in the city is going to remember his name.

Aver the years, Percival has gotten his hands on the ability to conduct a Dark Draw, but he can't do it at will. It's a classic asspull move, and he's only done it once.

Personality: Percival is a nice guy. Really, he is! He's just driven. Too driven, sometimes. He likes to push his limits, and he doesn't always notice he's hurting other people by trying to get it. He's headstrong for sure, but get his attention and he's actually very sweet. He gets nervous around girls, and he likes baking. His emotions, while out of control and a little misplaced, are always sincere.

Here is my first App

[spoiler=The Experiment]Name: Skyler Alison

Age: 15

Rebellion: None

[spoiler=Appearance]SzQnlx5.jpg(Yes, she has animal ears on her head.)

Bio: Skyler has amnesia and remembers nothing. She also knows nothing about Yukotsa or the rebellions. She woke up lying on the floor of a broken down and vandalized lab. After searching through the entire lab, she found two things. The first thing was a brief case with her name on it. Inside the brief case were a pink dueling disk and a deck. The other thing was a burnt stack of files. Some of the flies were only slightly burnt and revealed some info about her. She soon knew her name and age, along with some other things. She found out that she is some sort of lab experiment; the animal ears on her head are evidence of that.

 Another thing she found in the files was a picture of the Millennium Puzzle. The files mentioned of it having magical powers. Now her single goal is to find and take the Millennium Puzzle because she believes that it will cure her amnesia.

Personality: She is very kind and nice, but also a bit shy. When she is dueling however, she is very serious, as if her life depends on her victory. Because of the amnesia, she is often very curious about something she does not know about. Skyler has an unreal knowledge of yugioh cards. You could tell her the name of any card and she can tell you everything about that card.
