[spoiler=Elijah Diamond]

Name: Elijah Diamond
Gender: Male
Age: 19

Physical Description https://s-media-cach...336abb2170f.jpg (6'0" 160 pounds)

Personality:
Elijah is a brotherly figure, someone everyone looks to for help, and only the foolish dare to test. He's a nice guy, brusque but not heartless, with a dark sense of humor but a bright, contagious smile. He loves to Duel, because that's when he shines brightest. He wants to win, but he wants to work for it. When he Duels, depending on who his opponent is, he puts on a "stage persona" and a corresponding costume, but only if he has the time to get ready, like when there's a bracket and he knows who he's fighting next. A red name means it's a hot personality, super active, whereas a blue name means it's cooler, more calm and collected.

Elijah: His regular self, Just Dueling to have a good time. Used in any low-stakes duel or when he just isn't in costume for his other ones.

The Anti-Hero: Elijah takes on an attitude not unlike that of our ZeXal-era villains, and leaves trauma and destruction in his wake. Used mostly against people with happy-go-lucky attitudes or other Dueltainers.

The Professor: Using technical talk and referring to the metagame a lot, analyzing his opponent and wearing glasses that seem to have come from nowhere, this Elijah is like a teacher out of a job. Usually used against very brutish or childish opponents.

The Rockstar: Elijah kind of emulates the personalities of the 5D's era, swaying the crowd with sheer Dueling might. Used often against opponents that have too much ego.

The Kid: Elijah acts all naive, talking about how he's playing to have fun, but in the end, he's still fighting to win. Used mostly for people who've forgotten that Duel Monsters is a game.

The Knight: Elijah becomes a red knight. Red for the fiery, honor-bound attitude he takes. Usually used when fighting someone with a totally evil attitude.

The Heartbreaker: A suave, seductive hunk, Elijah goes from boy to man in a snap. Usually against people with low self-esteem, this Elijah doesn't care what you are as long as you blush hard.

Game Face: He mostly cuts the entertainment out and becomes a more precise version of his usual self, like a bonfire focused into a blowtorch-sized flame. This is the most popular personality among his fans.

Background:
Elijah grew up in a family of fifteen kids, and ended up being raised by his former stepdad and stepmom, after a freakishly complex divorce and no less than three marriages afterwards. He was the awkward middle child, too young to fit in with the older siblings, too old to play with the younger ones. So naturally, he took up Dueling. This turned out great, because with his penchant for acting and his wild imagination, he discovered that he was a smash hit. Enrolling in junior tournaments, he was thrilled to see all 14 brothers and sisters showing up to cheer him on, and worked up a bit of a fanbase in his neighborhood, on account of his glowing personality and ruthless determination.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Elijah moved out of the house early, promising his little siblings that they'd be watching him Duel in the big leagues someday soon. And so he set off to become a professional Duelist, ready to take the world by firestorm! He started with underground tournaments to build his skill, develop more ruthless tactics. He consulted with master Duelists on how to better his skills. He even sought out and Dueled people that had beaten him in the past, just to see his own improvements. Now, he's ready for the big leagues, and in his past few years, he's grown up quite handsome, and he knows it.

Deck: Igknight Deck. Interchangeable Extra Deck focus and LOTS of Normal Monster Support.

Misc:
⦁ He's fluent in Latin, and will kick your ass if you call it a dead language.
⦁ Elijah loves candy. He'll go out of his way for good candy, and you could probably bribe him with the stuff. His favourite kind of candy is licorice, but NO black licorice, ever!

[spoiler=The Little Stinker]

Name: Elise Kingsley
Gender: Female
Age: 12

Physical Description 4'8", 95 lbs

Personality: A living, breathing, frequently painful lesson in never judging by appearances. A Pretty Princess Powerhouse kicking ass in all her finery, a Little Miss Badass with no patience for people who waste her time, a ball of lightning in a hot pink dress, whatever you want to call her, you can't deny she is serious competition. In a Duel, Elise's one goal is to bring you to your knees, and she's not the kind to draw it out for kicks either. If there's an opportunity to finish you off, she will take it. While its often assumed by looking at her that she's a snob or a brat, it turns out she's actually kind of nice, albeit not exactly warm-and-fuzzy. She lacks a great deal of practical knowledge, and doesn't often socialize with the more common folk, so she gets frustrated trying to breach the gap.

Background: Elise Kingsley. How do I begin to describe Elise Kingsley? Well, I'm not going to do the Mean Girls meme, but the fact that I was about to gives you an idea. Born into a wealthy family, her mother owning a company that produces all things tech, and her father a world-class martial artist, she was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth, and trained with a steel dagger between her teeth. Her mother taught her etiquette, class and the nuances of conversation. Her father taught her choke holds, pressure points, and the weaknesses of the flesh. Now, she's a force to be reckoned with, and it's a good thing she happened to be somewhat protagonistic.

Deck: (TBD)

Misc:
⦁ Elise has a pet snake (because of course she does) named Scarlet.

[spoiler=Speak No Evil]

Name: Percival
Gender: Male
Age: 18

Personality: Percival is often described as a "Silent Protagonist," doing good where he can, but neglecting to say anything about it. He's strong, smart, and durable, but lacking in charisma, owed mostly to his inability to speak. He does try to be nice, but even then he comes off distant and detached, like he's doing community service for a juvenile offense and just doesn't care for it. However, in a duel Percy is far more enthusiastic, because he finds the game thrilling and in some ways educational. If he could speak, he'd remark that he's not a hero, but he simply has to deal with it. Like any boy his age, Percy has trouble with bottled-up emotions, and since he can't speak, there's little way to express himself. Typically his emotions will leak into his actions and in some cases his Dueling.

Background: Percival was your typical gutter rat, raised by the street and taught to fend for himself. As such, he grew cynical and jaded, unwilling to see the bright sides of life unless he made one. As such, he found himself on the bad side of a young gypsy lady who disliked his attitude, especially his impersonal feelings towards Dueling. "Until you understand what these cards really mean, you will speak no more ill of them!" She declared, and from that moment on, his voice was lost.

Fast-forward a few years and he's spent his time rethinking himself, combing the streets to find the woman who cursed him, and trying to find deeper meaning in what was once just a means to an end.

Deck: "Nightmare" (A ChampionZero Original Archetype)
Percy's Deck focuses on swarming and mass Xyz-Summoning for the sake of sheer firepower. For him, victory comes from dropping your opponent's LP and nothing else, so tactics like milling and alternate win conditions seem cowardly.

Misc:
⦁ Percival, without a voice, can only communicate by spelling words out letter by letter in sign language, or writing them down.

Name: Flint Hickory

Gender: Male
Age: 17
Hometown: Lavender Town, Kanto

[spoiler= Biography]Flint Hickory is a name easily recognized for its attachment to a very unique individual. Flint is a young man of predominantly Doric descent, with short, silvery-grey hair from a genetic defect at birth and midnight black eyes that dart about, sweeping in all there is to see like a vortex, their gaze inescapable. He stands relatively tall for his age, 5'12" (as he would jokingly say) and with broad shoulders and hips. Flint is no slob and no stranger to the gym, but he is somewhat reluctant to show skin. His fingers are long and slender, but skewed from several nasty injuries and years of cracking his knuckles habitually.

[spoiler=Personality]Flint is a friendly and bubbly fellow with an oddly cheery way of being very pessimistic. Fortunately, his grim sense of humor and outlook on life isn't some edgy all-consuming void, but rather his warped idea of healthy skepticism. Flint is always willing to lend a hand where necessary, and has no personal issues with making new friends wherever he goes. Additionally, Flint finds his hair, one of his best physical features, a defect and genuinely has very little love for it, hence his tendency to cover it up and his touchiness when discussing it. He's not terribly harsh with his Pokemon, but he is firm and commanding in battle.

[spoiler= Biography]
Flint was always the subject of mockery. His naturally glimmering grey hair was an easy target, and when people spoke of it, he developed a habit of simply covering his ears and shutting down. Nonetheless, as he grew up he found himself obsessed with genetics, and he did a great deal of research as to why his hair would be like this from birth. A group of online friends who shared his scientific zeal found his hair intriguing, which was exactly the boon it took to get him to age 10, when he got his Pokemon license and set out to find adventure and study the genetics of Pokemon! Only a year after leaving, he encountered a rare Eevee that simply refused to leave him alone. She followed him across Kanto, mostly keeping her distance until Flint determined that it was drawn to his hair, which was an almost perfect copy of Eevee's sparkly grey coat. 11-year-old Flint was frustrated with this, but was intrigued by the circumstances and decided if the stubborn little devil wanted to follow him around, he ought to make the most of it. He put a collar around her neck and began calling her "Sparkle," a name she took a shine to, no pun intended.

Three years passed, and Sparkle's bond with him only grew stronger. Though she was friendly and affectionate, she grew steadily like an ordinary animal, and eventually people began to ask why an Eevee nearly thrice the ordinary size had yet to evolve. Flint took to his study notes on Pokemon and narrowed it down.

Eevee evolved by adapting to a new circumstance, rapidly altering its DNA, which was already unstable, relative to most other Pokemon. There were only two possible reasons, according to him: the first, and possibly the more logical of the two, was that she couldn't, and the genetic mutation that resulted in her namesake fur color and made her so drawn to his matching 'defect' had also affected her naturally unstable DNA in such a way that it was now too stable to evolve; or, Sparkle simply didn't want to change, rather she recognized that to adapt to some new environment would change her appearance, and then she and Flint would no longer look similar, possibly even reading Flint's emotional cues and seeing some unconscious fear of that exact thing happening.

Flint could never determine for sure, so he decided they were equally valid explanations, but the actual REASON for her not evolving must have been the first. Having outgrown it, Flint replaced Sparkle's collar with his bandanna, which he'd so far been using to try and hide his hair, to no real avail.

Another three years and the duo had explored every region from Kanto to Alola, and it was time to find somewhere new and add to the database. Flint came for the science. Sparkle came for Flint.

Team:
[spoiler=Eevee]
Eevee
"Sparkle"
Female
Level 17
Adaptability
Quirky Nature
Tackle, Baby-Doll Eyes, Hidden Power, Quick-Attack, Swift, and Bite
"A Shiny grey Eevee that was inexplicably drawn to 11-year-old Flint and his hair, which oddly enough matched hers. Flint snapped a little red and white collar onto the fluffy little devil and ever since she's following him loyally from region to region on his study of Pokemon genetics and evolution. Fast-forward the better half of a decade and Flint is are off to Korova to learn more about what makes Pokemon so special. Sparkle's just along for the ride."

Other: Always has snacks somewhere on him. Always.

Name: Karlos Mendez
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Occupation: Private Security & Rare Hunter

Appearance: Karlos stands at about 6'0, about 180 pounds. He's predominantly Italian and Saxon. Long black hair runs from his head to his waist in a thick, shiny braid. His intact eye is purple, with a telltale crescent of insomnia underneath. His right eye has an eyepatch over it, requiring him to swivel his head around to get a good look at his environment. There's an eye of Ra etched on it with white gold, which does add some class to it. He tends to dress in a suit with an open collar, but on his days off he'd sooner wear a leather jacket and a nice white t-shirt.

Personality: Karlos is a jaded and easily angered individual. He can only keep his cool for so long before his emotions get the better of him. Not that it's always bad, he could get angry or just excited. When he's emotional, really any kind of emotional, his volume control suffers somewhat. Though he's mostly self-serving and not exactly a 'good' person, he has some moral boundaries that he refuses to cross, and a professional edge that he tends to need. He has a great deal of loyalty to the Family and his clients, but the latter only lasts so long as they remain clients...

Biography: Karlos was born into "The Family," a sort of white-collar Italian mafia. Since he was a child they raised him as lovingly as if he were their own. They taught him everything he knows and more, and he was a valuable pair of hands and eyes throughout his childhood. Eventually, they decided to go legit, but the change bothered some of their associates, and the Don was taken out, quite brutally. Karlos stepped up as the new Don, and nobody challenged him, especially when he decided to honor the old Don's last wishes and turn The Family into a proper business. And so, they became a private security firm, damn close to the best there ever was: efficient, negotiable, and with a very good track record. Sure, they did a little quiet Rare Hunting on the side, but who doesn't really?

And so, their reputation grew so rapidly that they began getting contract work with Kaibacorp, and doing a damn fine job of it. Inevitably, Karlos was invited to the Gala so as to ensure ongoing business between Kaibacorp and The Family... and ongoing business they would have...

Deck: Karlos wields a "Sanctuary in The Sky" Deck, comprised all but entirely of fairies, and focused around generally the enemy's plays while doing everything to force his own. Counter Traps are abundant. His signature monster is, unsurprisingly, Master Hyperion.
