Hi !

My nickname is Armadill0o like the animal, I'm 22 years old and I live in France.

I came to this site because at the moment I feel nostalgic and I wanted to re-experience some of my childhood's favorite moments. That's why I've been watching the first season of Yu Gi Oh! all over again and downloading GBA games on my phone.

As an Art student and fond of drawing, I also wanted to do things I did when I was in primary school like inventing new monster cards. That's why I thought you guys could give me some feedback.

Anyway I hope I will meet people sharing the same passion, and I wish you a happy new year a few hours earlier !

Awesome. More power to you. Just be sure to look over the rules of Custom Cards, because they do differ from section to section. There's even a section called Graphic Showcase where you could post your art and potentially get feedback.

Hello Armadillo0! I'm Yui, and you probably won't see much of me in the future unless you wander into RP or Misc. If you've been out of the loop for YGO-related stuff for a while, it might be a good idea to catch up and see what all happened while you weren't looking. It would also be a good idea to read up on the YCM site rules, as well as the section rules for any section you'll be frequenting, assuming you haven't already. It's more or less all common sense stuff, so you could honestly get by without even glancing at them, but a little bit of learning never hurts ^_~

 

Before I forget! The cardmaker's been having some trouble with its upload function last I heard, so you'll have to download your stuff manually then upload it all to a site like Imgur on your own. It also can't make pendulums and probably won't gain the ability to within this decade. If you need to make pendulum cards, there's a nifty program for that here, which also just in general makes prettier/higher-quality cards than what the site's built-in cardmaker can generate. Unless I forgot something (I may well have), that should be my usual new-member spiel. So yeah, be good, don't make an ass of yourself, and most importantly, have fun! You're here forever now, after all. Might as well get comfy.

(Just for context if you want to know what Beatrice/Hina is referring to, we had a member named Armadilloz [but referred to as Armz]; only difference is a Z instead of 0 in names, but yeah,)

 

But anyway, welcome to YCM.

 

I'm Sakura, one of the mods for Custom Cards, so any questions about the section can be directed towards me or one of my colleagues; preferably me since I wrote most of the rules in their current form.

 

Yui already mentioned the general stuff about the rules, and that Pendulums are not in the cardmaker yet (and likely won't; not because the staff members don't want to [we don't have access to that part of the Admin Control Panel, or prefer not to touch it], but rather our admin is VERY inactive). His name is YCMaker, so if you see a guy with that name around, that's the site admin (and the guy who made this site). I don't foresee him coming around for a while though.
