Stalfos' Character Lair

Admiral_Stalfos19

Recommended Posts

So we've got a corner, a castle, a repository, an archive, an arsenal apparently, a gallery and a compendium. All very interesting and all, but we out here in a lair. Cause lairs are so much better than anything ever. Even dungeons, which was my backup plan :/

...

In all seriousness though, this is where all my characters will be planted for display, starting from next month. I could've started around the same time as everyone else, but I kinda need more memorable male characters before I can really start as I'd like to prove that I'm capable of playing any gender. I could probably start digging through the RP section for anyone I missed playing as, and also throw up a section of future characters when I'm done with the ones I've already made.

But yeah, work on the database itself will begin next month. I'm just making a post now purely to reserve the title :]

[spoiler=Teiljo Matsubara, the DigiDestined of Faith]

hzyvyM2.pngVO5cj50b.jpg?1
"We may go through thick and thin, but we'll all save the Digital World together. Isn't that right, Cinder?"
"Hmmmm.... yeah, nah, I'm going to bed"
Human Information
Name: Teiljo Matsubara
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Digivice Color: Brown and Yellow
Digimon Partner: Cinder
[spoiler=Appearance:]Being more the size of a full-grown woman over a full-grown man, Teiljo stands at 165cm, (5' 5"), and weighs 58kg (128lbs). To be fair though, he's not far off from what he should be at considering he's only 15 years old, and he still shows signs of growing taller if only ever so slightly.

4016e432cf4aa7407ccaea5cc652cda7d6628d6c

[spoiler=Personality:]As per what the fine lady ordered, Teiljo is a handsome young man. He keeps up his appearances and hygiene and all that palaver, is fashionable, albeit not to a degree that would bust his wallet, and certainly isn't afraid to show a softer, more feminine side to him. Of course, this goes deeper than just looks as well; as Teiljo is also passionate, charismatic, well-mannered, cares for his friends and family, is happy to go out of his way to help those in need and he's an overall nice person to be around. All in all, if there was ever a dream boy that a girl could physically meet and actually try their hand at romance with rather than just drool over a poster of that may or may not be on a random wall in her room, that so-called "dream boy" would in fact be Teiljo approximately 75% of the time. Unfortunately, every single person has their own Achilles Heel that must be lived with... either that, or they're merely a figment of one's imagination. And Teiljo is far from an exception.

Interestingly, Teiljo has slight difficulties with romance, and not for a reason that would be expected either. A lot of this is because to be honest, Teiljo is gay. However, the problem isn't so much that he's gay to begin with; rather, it's the fact that he's yet to fess this up. Teiljo has held back a lot of information about himself, and dislikes opening up because he knows for a fact that with every detail he lets slip, there's always the risk of an opinion of him being changed wildly... and for the worse as well. Speaking of opinions, Teiljo will take any and all critism that one has to say about him, even if it feels unnecesarily harsh and mean-spirited. That doesn't mean to say that his feelings won't be hurt, but he realizes that a big part of learning to become a better person is learning to take critism well.

The desire to hear one's opinion about him is just one of many things that differentiate Teiljo from his Digimon partner Cinder, who couldn't give any less of a rat's ass about the subject in question and would rather people just shut the hell up. The two have such a vast contrast to each other; in truth, the only thing they share in common is that they don't take like standoffish beings, but even then, Teiljo takes it one step further in disliking to be standoffish himself. For that reason Teiljo often wonders whether or not he and Cinder will truly get along. This is a concern for Teiljo specifically since he'll more than likely be stuck with Cinder himself than with any of the DigiDestined... as little as he'd like to be seperated from two of them in particular. Nonetheless, these are the cards that Teiljo had been dealt, and now he has a Digital World to save, and make his way out of should he wish to see his family again. It's a mission that Teiljo has dedicated himself to see through to the very end.

[spoiler=Biography:]Teiljo Matsubara came from a wealthy family. He had a mother, a father, a younger sister and an older brother named Yoshihisa, the former two of which held very successful careers. Nothing of note had happened to Teiljo until he first entered junior high, where Yoshihisa introduced him to two different girls that he had spotted and thought would be nice. The first went by the name of Shiro Ishida, who had the unfortunate birth defect in which her right arm had not grown properly but made the most of it via trying out a whole mess of sports. For a first "date" of sorts, the meeting between Teiljo and Shiro didn't go horribly wrong for the former's surprise, but something was... missing, that prevented any spark from being flared between the two. It wasn't until a few months later that Yoshihisa found another girl by the name of Rui Tachibana and guided her towards Teiljo's direction. They seemed to get along for the moment, but still no spark. It seemed as though Teiljo wasn't ready for this whole dating, and was still confused about his sexuality during both meetings. Of course, this was before he discovered that he was gay.

Sure enough, high school had started for Teiljo, and Yoshihisa had tried to hook his younger brother with yet another cute looking girl when Teiljo finally confessed to being gay, which took Yoshihisa by surprise. He'd dropped the subject immediately, but later as they came home, Teiljo overheard Yoshihisa conversing the possibility of Teiljo being gay with their father, who remarked that he hoped that wasn't the case. Teiljo was disheartened by what he'd overhearded, and decided it'd be wise to be more reserved from that point on and move on with his life. He managed to maintain his parents' expectations as far as his grades went, and even managed to particpate in the school play titled "The Moon Princess". Here, Teiljo was to play as Prince Otomo, and he noted that Shiro had joined and played as one of the moon guardians. And the play was set to be cast in front of an audience the next afternoon. This was a scene to look forward to...

Digimon Information
Name: Cinder
Species: FanBeemon
Gender: Male
Type: Insect
Attribute: Virus
Family: Wind Guardians
Human Partner: Teiljo Matsubara
[spoiler=Appearance:]Funbeemon.jpg

"...what, you expecting me to look all different and stuff? Well screw you too."

[spoiler=Personality:]If there was one word in the English that would not fit into Cinder's personality no matter how hard one tried, it would be the word "enthusiastic". In all honesty, Cinder can rarely be bothered with much of anything, and the first thing he'll ask when someone makes a request is what's in it for him. Cinder even dislikes giving his opinion on anything that he's asked an opinion for, as even something that mundane takes effort in all technicality; and that, he believes, is better spent on something a bit more meaningful like... oh he doesn't know, survival. However, even though he'll take the path of least resistance the vast majority of the time, he'll expel all the effort that he has to on something specific that he ultimately wants to achieve, regardless of whether he proves to be competent in his attempts. And he'll take pride in even the simplest of accomplishments. It should be noted that demands don't work on Cinder at all, and he'll literally try to duct tape the mouths of those who make one too many... or those that talk too much in general. He does not like to listen to people jabroni and moan about their problems, especially if they involve him of all beings.

All that said, Cinder is not completely heartless. He can be persuaded into doing the noble thing for the sake of being nice. And unlike what would be the case for most Digimon of the Virus attribute, there is no automatic sense that the "so-called noble thing" is just a facade. He cares about people he likes. Well, at least enough so that he'll take their wishes as well as his own into consideration. Sometimes. And if no-one else, he'll most certainly listen to Teiljo. There are times, however, that Cinder will undoubtedly question even Teiljo's judgement. But he'll obey anyway if he gets what he wants out of it, and if it doesn't seem all that hard.

[spoiler=Biography:]While he was just an unnamed FanBeemon, Cinder was once a part of a hive of the things. He got kicked out for being too lazy and unproductive in general, though he'd have left anyway if it were up to him, so he wasn't too concerned. In any case, Cinder would go on relatively undeterred when all of a sudden he found a guy by the name of Teiljo Matsubara. They lived happily ever after or some sheet like that and... these things have been my mortal enemy for the seven years that I've been RPing now and I just... I cannot and could not make a decent one to save my life. So what I'm gonna do, is I'ma go home, and never think about this again. Thank you.

We begin with a boy and his pet bug, bumbling along in an adventure that they were forced into hacking away at together with a bunch of strangers... as well as a couple girls that were in his life for a bit, but we'll cross that bridge to it. But first, I'd like to say that even though I've played a fair number of lesbian characters over my 7 year course of role-playing, Teiljo is quite literally my first stab of playing a proper gay male. And he'll probably be my last, since I'm highly uncomfortable playing those type of characters in particular. Between that and the little information I could detail through his app sheet due to time constraints, I wasn't expecting to find myself attached to Teiljo, or Cinder the tag-along FanBeemon. But I proved myself wrong as I played through the RP, and now I'm looking forward to the point where Teiljo and Cinder get their own spotlight (since like all Digimon RPs, everyone gets one). Hence why you see this app here among my favorites.

In its original stage, I had little idea what I would've wanted from Teiljo. All I really had set in stone (apart from the fact that he'd be gay) was that he would have a Virus-type Digimon, and that the two's personalities would wind up being polar opposites from each other. So naturally I thought of the Digimon first. I thought about using a Guilmon for Teiljo's partner, but while I knew for a fact that the only real way I could differentiate from the Tamers' Guilmon was by going Megidramon for the final Mega, that was quickly shot down out of being too inherently evil... so I scrapped the entire line, and looked through a bunch more Virusmons that didn't seem too inherently evil. That's when I found that FanBeemon's line was all Virus, which I wasn't expecting. I was kinda hesitant to use him, partly since I remembered Dharc using a FanBeemon in a previous Digimon RP, and partly because I really dislike the look of CannonBeemon. IMO, that mon in particular is an ugly JABRONI, while the other two aren't all that bad. Thankfully, Broken and I managed to work out an alternate line that Cinder would ultimately take, the only real change being a JewelBeemon for the Ultimate instead of CannonBeemon.

Even to this day, I have no idea who might have pioneered most everyone else into deciding that they'd want their mons to have nicknames as well. It might have been Hyde, it might have been me. But I do know that I always wanted Cinder to have a nickname of his own, since I did not imagine Teiljo being able to tolerate having to see "FanBeemon" all the time when trying to address him. I found a bunch of other names that I thought might work for him, which you can see in this post here, but I ultimately decided Cinder would be the best name. Cinder's creation went off from there, with him being the lazy, bored-out-of-his-mind type that I can foresee competing with Faytl's Kudamon to see who becomes the biggest dick to everyone, and Teiljo being the noble gentleman that hides things about himself, including the fact that he's gay to begin with, just to maximize his chances of managing to please everyone around him. And we all know how well that tends to go...

...

So yeah, this is Teiljo Matsubara from Digimon: The Dark Continent. More characters will come each Thursday (/Wednesday for most of you guys), so stay tuned to see more :]

[spoiler=Mako Yamato: Strega, Sailor, Womanizer]6oiAmz4.png

"Laaaadiiiiiieeeees and gentleman, I present to you the most handsome man to ever joing the Strega's ranks... me!"

Personal Information
Name: Mako Yamato

Gender: Male
Age: 23
Allegiance: Strega
Arcana: Emperor
Day Job: Sailor
[spoiler=Appearance:]spiral_lozcer_by_xspirallozcer-d4u8fnd.j

The irises in Mako's eyes only glow in the colour seen in the pic during The Dark Hour, and are actually normally hazel in colour. As with Xiva Vulzah's birthmark, Mako's eyes glowing like this seems to protect him from The Dark Hour's effects. As a typical trait found in sailors, he has a tattoo of an anchor on his right forearm, a couple of inches below the shoulder blade. The circlet around his next is a plain one, not appearing to be engraved with anything in particular. Mako wears a pair of the type of fingerless gloves one would see worn by a biker, except his are white in colour rather than black as typically seen. When he aims to impress the ladies with his "dazzling" good looks, Mako will gel his usually unkempt platinum silver hair and mould it so it looks similar to Elvis Presley's hairstyle, except he'll opt for a proper fringe rather than that signature cow lick. An average fully grown man will slightly out-heighten Mako, as he only stands at 5' 11", but with his medium build, Mako still looks as though he would hold his own in a street fight if he ever got himself into one for whatever reason.

Personality: Typical from one who has The Emperor Arcana, Mako can be cocky about himself, especially about his abilities in combat. He'll also mingle with the ladies on regular occasions, in an attempt to get lucky with... well, any of them, quite frankly. But one person is always at the back of his mind; and that person is Aiya, the girlfriend that he had lost during his first experience with The Dark Hour. Mako feels as though he's trying to fill a hole in himself by making such a somewhat reckless attempt at scoring a girl, but at the same time, he also remains loyal to Keisuke Ishida, the leader of the Strega... for the moment. However, his desire to continue serving the Strega will likely depend on the true fate of his fallen girlfriend, and perhaps how far the Strega are willing to go to portray their case. One thing's for certain, though; he'll always oppose the CASA, as he believes their interference with the Shadows are only concealing the truth.
Biography: Coming into Gin City by boat, Mako Yamato was astounded by what he saw over the horizon, and ventured into the city itself to enjoy himself. It was his day off from sailing too, so during the day he harboured the boat into one of Gin City's port, he had all the time in the world to get to know the place. Hanging out at the Hanged Horse Park, Mako then found a single 19 year old girl by the name of Aiya, who he immediately started dating with. It was love at first sight, for the both of them, as they returned to Hanged Horse Park to make out under the stars, unaware that it would transform into the chasm known as Hel in due time. Eventually, as The Dark Hour began, Mako and Aiya saw the trees and the buildings around them freeze over. Mako's eyes have also glowed, but he himself took no notice at the time, and when asked by Aiya, asked what the heck she was on about, this indicating that he was completely unaware of it.

Just then, Hanged Horse Park began its transformation, and Mako and Aiya had fallen into the depths of Hel before they could react. Mako had managed to grab the branch of a tree to save himself, but Aiya continued to scream as she fell, straight into the core of the Earth where she was silenced and never seen again. Two powerful Shadows came soaring out from where Mako could see, shortly after Aiya's demise, followed by a battalion of weaker Shadows. Not a single one of them went after Mako, but it remains unknown whether they purposely ignored him or they were unaware he was even there. Regardless, Mako continued to call Aiya's name, but to no avail, before slowly controlling his descent down towards the core where she fell inside. However, there was nothing more he could do, as it become obvious that Aiya wasn't going to get herself out of there alive, so he waited for Hanged Horse Park to return to normal.

The next day, Mako went back to work, the events that transpired during The Dark Hour still at the back of his mind. The other sailors he was working with knew something was up, but he refused to say anything until the captain of the crew made his appearance. Mako eventually opened up to everyone on the boat as requested by the captain, but he lied about everything, correctly assuming they wouldn't believe him if he did in fact tell the truth. Still in grief of the whole ordeal, he continued various attempts to forget what happened that fateful day until he stumble upon a Strega meeting led by Keisuke Ishida, overhearing their intentions to show the remaining population the truth behind the Shadows. Being intrigued by this story, Mako offered his aid and loyalty to Keisuke, vowing to stay by their side until the end of days.

Combat Information
Weapon of Choice: Emei Piercers

Damage Element: Pierce
Fighting Style: What exactly Mako aims for in fighting a CASA member depends entirely on that member's gender. For females, he'll focus on merely disarming them, and will actually try to restrict how much bodily harm he does, only doing enough to prevent them from being physically able to fight. Mako is much more ruthless towards male members of the CASA though, in which he tries to land the killing blow every time he aims a punch or a kick. However, Mako relies on one thing about himself to see him through... his outstanding agility. He's also adept at hand to hand combat, especially excelling at counter-attacking, and will often goad his opponent into making the first move, even if he has to make clucking noises and make gestures that would compare one to a chicken, or do something else to get the opposition enraged.
Evoker & Summoning Style: Mako's Evoker has the style of a pistol that could be standard issue for navy officers. Before he actually fires the Evoker, Mako will often spend time to twirl it around his finger first, unless of course he needs to summon Forneus urgently. As he's twirling his Evoker around, he'll spend time thinking about what exactly he wants Forneus to do and how to do it. He'll also have a bored expression on his face as he twirls his Evoker around. He doesn't do any fancy motions or aim it a specific place or at a specific angle, he just points and shoots. Viola, a quick, albeit boring and drama-less, summoning of Forneus, that's ready to fight for what Mako believes in most.

An old favorite from what must have been nearly exactly five years ago. I launched the RP that this guy comes from, SMT Persona: Return of the Dark Hour, just moments after completing a play-through of Persona 3 Portable, eager to show off what was then a newfound knowledge of the Persona franchise. I'd always wanted to see what it was like to play as someone who would share Junpei's personality, but at the same time I always wondered whether the Strega would've tolerated such a personality from him, which I put thought into as I created my own Strega minion. Enter Mako Yamato.

Back then, I still didn't really know Japanese naming very well, so I'd often throw letters in there that I now know damn well have no business being there. As a result, my character naming was more often than not a complete mess. That said, Mako Yamato would easily be one of the best names I could've ever came up with before having discovered that there were sites that were a bit more dedicated to the subject. It was simple, it sounded Japanese enough, and more importantly it rolled off the tongue. There're some references behind it as well; Mako is a shark that can swim up to 60km/h, or 37mph for you MURICANS that're stuck in NINETEEN FIFTY-TWO, and Yamato was the name of a prominent battleship that the Japs used in WWII. Mako's creation went off shortly after I came up with the name.

I was originally going to have Mako be a baller and use his fists in combat, but then I recalled that these things called Emei Piercers existed. I remembered hearing about them and how they were meant to work through an episode of Deadliest Warrior, and the biggest thing I remember is that you could spin them around. Apparently this is meant to serve as a distraction, and between having picked up on that and knowing how much Mako would love to show off, I figured these should be Mako's weapon(s) of choice... though I kept the fighting style the same, however. It should be noted that Mako actually has two different fighting styles, and which one he uses depends entirely on his opponent...'s gender. Against females, he focuses more on disarmament, and actually tries to minimize bodily harm since... y'know, going ham on them would mean ruining all attractiveness. On the flip side, he's more aggressive towards men, and infinitely more eager to land the killing blow.

Unfortunately, as typical of a Stalfos RP, the whole thing never went anywhere near as far as I wanted. I had several Arcana Shadows lined up for the good guys to battle, and I even had a key plot point for Mako in particular where, instead of attending the usual Strega meeting, he'd wind up heading towards where the Shadows normally come out of and learning about a key element in his backstory. But I didn't even get to the first combat stage :/

...

I might get to use Mako again should another Persona or SMT RP ever pop up, or even try and revive the RP itself and see how far it gets this time. In any case, stay tuned til the next Thursday/Wednesday/whenever, when I unveil the next favorite male character I've played as.

[spoiler=Damian Fletcher (Alias: Melody Ventura), Disguising His Way Out of Crime]

bqrPOoh.png
"This is my gambit, and I shall not allow it to fall to ruin."
Personal Information
Real Name: Damian Fletcher
Current Alias: Melody Ventura
Age: 22
Gender: Born male, disguised as female
[spoiler=Appearance:]He has taken every effort imaginable to appear as feminine as possible in order to avoid recognition, but Damian knows full well there's not much he can do about his height. At the moment, Damian stands at 178cm (5' 10") which, although fair for a young man of his caliber, is rather tall for the female counterpart. On top of that, he weighs in at 72kg (158lbs). One can tell, if they study hard enough and have keen observation, that Damian used to be a man before undergoing surgery to appear more as a woman, though his finer facial features help tremendously in pulling this off among the commoners. The black dress he wears almost appears to be Victorian in styling.

8574e37ea41b714fb951e5b0eeb94fed3f930eee

[spoiler=Personality:]Damian has gone through multiple aliases and molded separate personalities from all of them. He was timid and submissive pre-alias, arrogant as Ariel, a kind sweetheart as Kassidy, hip and trendy as Denzel, cold and bitter as Vilgerour and a genuine delight to be around as Tristan. Now that he's currently disguising himself as Melody though, he seems to have gone back to his roots slightly, borrowing some for her personality off of Ariel, just the slightest touch off of Kassidy and a lot from Vilgerour. However, Damian has an air of selfishness that is projected all through his aliases in one sense, although he'd suppressed this considerably during his acting as Kassidy and Tristan. This air of selfishness will certainly be present within his alias of Melody, and he's not letting that go any time soon.

All in all, Damian is many things, as has been portrayed by all the aliases he made. That's something one can't deny even when taking into account that this may all be an act. But reckless certainly isn't one of them. While he may move in to steal a Pokemon from another trainer out of spite for the trainer him/herself and spite alone, he's much more methodical than that most of the time. He will often watch a Pokemon he may be interested in and the trainer it belongs to, studying every interaction the two of them have with each other. This may sound like coveting, especially when taking into consideration the sheer length of time Damian invests in each observation he undergoes. But, if the trainer has a personality trait that he would despise, Damian will be happy to settle with taking a Pokemon of more sentimental value to the trainer instead, and if he sees the same species of the Pokemon he's interested in with a different trainer, he may consider taking that trainer's Pokemon instead.

Since there's a tournament supposedly going on, though, Damian is currently laying low for the moment, having made the smart choice, and taking some time to get a feel for portraying himself as Melody. After all, one does not simply change alias right in the middle of a tournament or a similar event. As such, Damian may not even bother himself with attempting to steal another Pokemon from someone, as that's not why he's here. He has put a lot of research into Pokemon typing and which role each of the Pokemon making up his team would fulfill, and his invitation alone is proof that said research had seen fruition. And he's also trained each Pokemon to be coherent with each other which, given the fact that most of them were stolen from very different trainers, is a commendable feat. All he has to do from there is keep his ego in check.

[spoiler=Biography:]For what it was worth, Damian Fletcher had a rather poor childhood. He was born around the same time as a sister and a brother, and was the last one of those to be born. He found himself to technically be the youngest of an eight-child family, whose parents were always out to work for several hours of the day and had difficulty finding a babysitter brave enough to look after all eight children at a time. With so many siblings helping themselves to whatever toys they wanted to play with and not exactly willing to share, Damian was often left without anything to play with. And even when he did try and play with something, someone would always scold at him for it, whether it'd be a brother or a sister or even a parent. Thus, Damian became very lonely. On his 10th birthday, Damian was hoping that he'd be able to have a break from all this drama at home and go on an adventure with his first Pokemon, but he was out of luck yet again; specifically, he was visiting the Professor of a new Pokemon Lab that was built in Lilycove City to get either a Treecko, a Torchic or a Mudkip, only to find they were all out of all three of them, and with that, his hopes of going on an adventure were shattered. Unable to take it any more, Damian took off in tears, not stopping running until he found himself alone near a lake. It was then that he found a Shuppet that he'd eventually nickname Show Stopper. After ten whole years, Damian finally found a sentient being that was willing to play with him... even if it was a wild Shuppet.

Some time later, Damian found himself a wild Croagunk as he was coming up to the summit of Mt. Pyre. He sent Show Stopper in to help catch it, but it wasn't faring as well as he thought, considering the Croagunk knew a move or two that was highly effective against Ghost-types. Panicking, Damian immediately threw the one Poke Ball that he had in an effort to catch the Croagunk and stop the fighting. At first it didn't look as though that would work either but, as the Poke Ball continued to rock back and forth, it eventually settled down, the button that was flashing red at the time slowly drawing to a cease. He breathed a sigh of relief, but from that point on, Damian decided that it was not worth trying to catch another Pokemon. This immediately caused him to reflect back to his childhood past, where everything was always taken away from him by his other siblings... except one; the one brother that shared the same womb as Damian prior to their births, who their mother called David. Deciding to name the recently captured Croagunk after this one brother, Damian affectionately began training both it and Show Stopper until they were both a little stronger, and was in the process of doing so when a cute little girl approached him and asked if he could help her evolve her Tynamo. He agreed, but only if he could borrow the Tynamo for "a little while". In truth, the poor girl would never see her Tynamo again. To avoid suspicion, Damian made his first ever alias: Ariel Pierce.

But one would be wrong to assume Damian could ever stop there. In fact, he was in such a rush that throughout the years he'd often swap between alias, usually after he stolen a single Pokemon from someone else. He had his fair share of close calls, throughout his criminal career. The closest he ever came to being caught, however, was when he was disguised as Tristan Mignard, and was looking for a Whimsicott to round out his team once and for all. Here, Damian found himself a female trainer who was actually into him. Ordinarily, a guy would think himself lucky to get a girl so fast, but Damian disliked the idea of the girl practically forcing herself on him so suddenly... at least at first. He was originally concerned about being distracted by the girl being so lovey dovey with him, and enough so that he might have actually forgotten to do the very deed that he came here for, but it turned out the girl was more distracted than he was. So that part worked as well as he could possibly hope for. Unfortunately the girl didn't remain unaware for long. She had seen that one of her Poke Balls was missing, and the moment she did, she literally bolted after Damian. But he managed to evade capture, thankfully, and as per usual, he felt as though he needed a change in alias. This time though, he had no intention of pulling any stops, even going so far as to file off the ends of his fingers so that no fingerprints could be left, and have various surgeries performed on him to alter his appearance as much as he could possibly think of.

Now though, Damian's alias as Melody Ventura is complete. He has been doing a "test drive" of sorts, and likes the results. The Pokemon that he had gathered as his previous aliases have been conversely working well enough together, and he even has an invitation from Roderick Noble to show for his efforts. Everything seems to be going smoothly... for now. But there's still the issue of not getting made, despite all the efforts that he'd gone through to prevent such a catastrophe from happening.

Tidbits of Trivia:
  • Damian has gone through 5 different aliases before finally going through before finally deciding to go through with the surgery that would ultimately make him appear as a woman. They are, in order: Ariel Pierce, Kassidy Rivera, Denzel Barker, Vilgerour Bjarnharoursdottir and Tristan Mignard.
  • Damian's most reliable Pokemon in combat is Show Stopper, which has long since evolved into a Banette and comes equipped with his own Mega Stone. This should come to no surprise in the slightest, as Show Stopper was his very first Pokemon and has been there since the very beginning.
  • Damian is fairly familiar with any underhanded plays his opponent may make. As such, he'll watch the trainer closely, and continue to do so until the battle's over.

So, I know I promised that I'd have another character up yesterday, and I had full intention on keeping that promise... but then YCM decided to die on everyone the night before. And as you may have guessed, it only just went back about 7 hours ago. Now you know why this app's late to the table :/

...

But anyway, this is Damian Fletcher, a Pokemon Trainer who had been showcased in one iteration of Pokemon: The Tournament of Legends by Renegade, and then again in Pokemon: The Tournament of Riddles by Faytl. Coincidence? You tell me. I originally wanted to have a custom Mega Masquerain for this evolved Damian, since that's what I had for Legends, but Faytl didn't want customs of any kind. Now that I think about it, he especially won't have liked mine; Scalds are a pain in the ass for physically orientated mons to switch into to begin with, and with this Mega Masquerain having Serene Grace on hand, that would happen more than half the time. For the record, I was more than prepared to scale it down if I needed to, considering burns were unfun to face back then (and still are to some extent despite the nerf to its damage)

...which is why I was surprised that Renegade allowed for it.

It should be noted that I do like playing my traps when I feel in the mood for one, and right now Damian's among the best traps I've played as as of yet. He has used multiple personalities in his past and isn't afraid to mix them around according to the situation he faces, and he also has somewhat of a deep history... even if its mostly about a criminal record that he had garnered from stealing other trainers' Pokemon, and meshing them together to form his own team and see how well they get along with each other. Like most things in their tournament arc, this RP died before any real fun could be had, which was unfortunate. I'd have liked to see how Damian would've got on with the other competitors, though I think interests were being waned across the board.

...

Stay tuned for the next char. Hopefully YCM doesn't die and force this one to be late like this one here <_<

[spoiler=Destiny Barrach, the Young Lady That Invites Death]TLkEqYE.png
"A reason to live? Pah! That sounds curious..."

Personal Information:
Name: Destiny Barrach
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Personality: As to be expected from the typical goth, Destiny's outlook on life is ultimately very negative indeed. The bad memories of her life monumentally outweigh the good; in truth, the only reason why meeting her therapist is Des' most treasured memory is because it was the only genuinely good feeling that she ever had, throughout an entire 18 years of her life. However, because she never had much to look forward to in life, Des is often wondering in deep thought why she of all people were spared, whilst billions of other humans had been wiped off the face of the planet. Oddly enough, Des is unphased by the knowledge that such a thing had, and always has been, even from the moment she was transported to this desolate wasteland. She already suffered in her previous life; she can't honestly imagine herself "Suffering" any more here than she ever had. Hell, it's almost like she embraced the possibility of something like this happening... as much as she may or may not regret thinking that.

Des is notable for putting up a cold, stony front around others, but in all honesty she feels very hollow inside, and if something seeps through the "cracks" of her heart, then it'll hit her like a truck. In short, she maybe half as affected by any given emotion than the other survivors, or something specific will hit her twice as hard. As such, Des will rarely open up to the other survivors or speak her mind, and she'll keep a lot of secrets all bottled up to herself. Then again, the vast majority of what she'd have to say is all gloom and doom anyway, so perhaps she's being wise in not saying all that; after all, it wouldn't be good if Des were to spread her natural pessimism to the rest of the group. When it comes down to it, though, Destiny has a considerable amount of willpower. She's never applied it before, most notably because she never personally found any reason to, and she's way too accepting of all the misery that surrounds her, but the fact remains that the willpower's there. She just has to put it to good use.
Biography: Even from the very beginning, Destiny Barrach had good reason to hate her life as she grew up in London. Back then, Des was a shy girl, and she stayed distant from her parents Phoenix and Horas Barrach, who were a workaholic who only cared about furthering her career and a blithering drunkard respectively. They in turn left her to her devices as soon she was able to walk, talk and feed herself. If Des had to guess which of the two she was closer to, she'd have to pick Horas... but that was only cause even though he just as rarely spent time with her, he at least had the courtesy to make up an excuse for why he "couldn't" or so was the terminology he used, unlike Phoenix, who didn't even bother with any of that. Still, by the age of 4, Des had started to wonder whether or not she was just a waste of space. Her parents not being truly there for her didn't help. As such, she would often walk around the streets of London aimlessly, only to watch as the other children had fun in their own way. Sometimes Des would watch these children for hours at a time, seeming content with the lack of activity on her end.

However, Destiny would never know such fun. At the age of 5, Phoenix had sent Des to school, having organized all the schools she would go to, and told her not to focus on anything but her grades. That was it; no help with homework or anything. Incidentally, it was through these instructions that Des was constantly bullied for refusing to help the other children with their homework. Des tried to ignore it, but the ones doing it wouldn't let up. Eventually Des grew brave enough to confront the bullies, but only because she'd harbored up spite all her life. What she ended up saying was really hurtful, and had got her expelled to Phoenix's disapproval. Things only snowballed from there, even as she entered high school, until she got herself in the Guinness World Record for being the youngest person ever to have been assigned a therapist. Des was 14 at the time.

If it wasn't for this, Destiny would've committed suicide a long time ago, and in all honesty, it was only this that Des misses out of her previous life. However, that was taken away from her 4 years later, when she woke up to see what appeared to be the ruins of the Super Dome. Like the others that were also here, Des was very confused upon seeing this, and immediately tried to get her therapist via her cellphone, only to see that this "Alive: Survival App" had installed itself on her phone even though it was loaded with this mess of other ones. Des was about to attempt to delete the app when something came out of nowhere... and something in her mind compelled her to run. The beast was gaining on Des, who swore at herself for wagging the vast majority of her P.E. classes back at high school, when all of a sudden, the beast was forced back by... something. Des never figured out what that something was, but was thankful to see that the beast had retreated, and breathed a sigh of relief. However, now that she was clued in on what she needed to know and given a weapon, Des made a vow to never run away from these things again... whatever they were...
[spoiler=Appearance:]Destiny is rather tall for a young woman. She stands at a solid 178cm (5' 10") and she has a BWH ratio of 24-20-22. Her attire is mostly black; the only current exceptions are all these chains that she wears for whatever reason, some gold and some silver, a plain silver ring on her left index finger and a red drape that hangs from the right side of her skirt. Her boots reach up to her thighs, and have high heels that clip and clop whenever she walks... which sounds awfully tacky, and is made even more so if she tries to run in them. They were originally fully lilac in color when they were on sale one time, but show clear signs of fading.
f2d7b38b36ef948aedb3f749405cc70cbdb0af11

Combat Information:
Fayth Name: Thanatos
Fayth Element: Darkness
Fayth Description: As the Greek God of Death, it's only natural that Thanatos grafts an intimidating weapon. In this case, Thanatos has grafted a large, two-handed sword with a cobalt blue blade and an iron grey hilt, the central part of which is shaped like a skull. Two small orange flames can be seen glowing from what appear to be the eyes of the skull, and another larger orange flame is found close to the tip of the blade itself. The flames are all protected by glass orbs, and hang upside-down from oil-coated steel wicks. A black aura can be seen swirling around the blade if one stares hard enough at the blade itself. Despite the sword itself producing flames, this aura feels very cold, and the slightest contact with it can send chills down one's spine. Thick, blood red chains surround the handle, to act as a hand-guard for the wielder.

[spoiler=Fayth Spells:]A Promise of Death: In an instant, Thanatos' aura envelops Destiny's whole body. With it, her Fayth Spells become a lot more powerful. The aura also grants Des with levitation, as well as extra movement and attack speed. After approximately 60 seconds, Des' body returns to normal.
Consuming Arc: The aura emanating from Thanatos builds and builds and swirls faster and faster, until Destiny swings Thanatos with all her might. This in turn releases a black, arcing shockwave that travels down solid range, knocking back everyone but the sturdiest of Majin. Even if a Majin survives the initial blast, it will react as though it had been poisoned as its life force slowly but surely dissipates for approximately 30 seconds, leaving it severely weakened if not dead.
Hypnotic Glare: Destiny's eyes glow brightly and their sclera slowly gradate to black as she stares down the enemy with a hypnotic suggestion. The longer Des maintains eye contact with an enemy while her eyes are glowing like this, the more heavily affected that enemy is by the resulting suggestion, until it falls into a deep slumber. This leaves the enemy open for Des and/or the others to strike, and for the effects of Consuming Arc to take their toll without any retaliation.
Siphon Slash: Slashes from Thanatos have the power to steal the life force of any Majin that are struck by the blade. The stolen life force is then absorbed into Destiny's body, healing any wounds that she may have been inflicted with during the battle. This ability makes Des a potent front-line combatant.
Unholy Prison: With a wave of Destiny's hand, chains erupt from the ground surrounding a group of Majins, only to lather themselves all over the Majins and pin them in place. The chains don't just restrict their physical movement either; they will also sap the strength of the Majins trapped underneath. On their own, the chains will vanish after 15 seconds, but extremely strong, Darkness-resistant Majins, such as the Towering Executioner, can break through the chains with brute force alone.

Miscellaneous Information:
Most Treasured Memory: Meeting her therapist for the first time
Most Treasured Valuable: A business card that was given to Destiny by her therapist. Des keeps this in her left sleeve.
[spoiler=Relationships With Others:]TLkEqYE.png
"This... just... bites. Here I was just wallowing away in my despair in relative peace, and then all of a sudden I find myself stuck with about six other conformists. And we're supposed to all stick together because if one of us dies, then apparently the rest of us'll be stuck here in this hellhole 'til the day we come to our own demise. Brilliant.

Quite frankly, we're all too young and too dumb to be expected to survive this. About the oldest one here is Christina, and although she obviously seems to care about us all, she can't think of everything that could possibly go wrong further down the track. And I know this because not even I can think of everything. Still, Christina does have a natural aggression to her. I just hope that it plays out favorably, as difficult as it is to see that.

And then we go to the opposite end of the spectrum, with this kid called Mia. Personally, I can see where she... he... she?! To hell with it, I'm just gonna have to refer to the kid as an it, and trust that it doesn't mind. As I was saying, I can see where it's coming from; the previous world had bugger all for me too. But there's no use moping about it. All that would do is dampen everyone else's mood, if nothing else. That's something I know from personal experience.

If only we had a swear jar handy, then we'd be getting mounds of pounds from Jared, yeah? Not that money's gonna be remotely useful in this day and age... Point is, he swears a lot; funk this, funk that, this is sheet, that's sheet. Cussing once in a while is acceptable given the current situation, but if Jared wants to earn my respect, then watching that language from now on would be a good start. He seems way too laid back too, as if he couldn't give any less of a damn. That could be because he smokes a lot too, and the nicotine supply he's feeding himself is calming him down; I bet he'll become infinitely more agitated once he runs runs out of ciggies.

Next up is Riku. From what I've gathered, he's... quite reserved, to say the least, and that's especially the case around yours truly. Eh, guess he doesn't really like me all that much. Or he's scared of me for whatever reason. I catch him gawking at my boobs more often than not though, so there's that, I guess...

Of course, there's always the ever optimistic Leroy, but... I can't help but feel that he's being a little too optimistic. Taking some realism into account can't hurt him. Leroy doesn't seem too bright overall either, but I guess being born and raised on the wrong side of the Earth does that to you.

Finally, we have Amaris. ...I've nothing to say about him; not just yet."

Main Theme Song: Hero, by Skillet
Battle Theme Song: Chaos Legion OST: Choir of Curse
Ideal Voice Actresses: Megan Hollingshead (En)/Yui Kano (Jp)
Some Trivia:

  • Despite being born and raised in London, Destiny actually speaks with a Scottish accent. This is likely something that Des gets from her father, Horas Barrach, whose blood is mostly Scottish with traces of Irish and Welsh. Her mother however, formerly Phoenix Crosby, is a full-blooded Englishwoman.
  • The Super Dome was the setting for a lot of sports programs that Destiny watched. However, Des has only physically been there once, as part of a therapeutic journey. Needless to say that she didn't like it one bit, and when asked why, Des stated that she was a patriot; of course she wasn't gonna like being in another country.
  • Although she'd never be daft enough to strip bare in a cold environment, Destiny just loves a cold breeze brushing against her skin. It gives her an odd sense of pleasure that she can't really explain. But one should note that Des is just as prone to cold-related complexities as everyone else.
  • Every once in a while, Destiny has nightmares of being all alone in an abyss of sorts, with scary figures popping in and out of her vision. These nightmares prevent her from sleeping at all, and Des had even ended up sleep-walking because of these nightmares. Des originally believed this new-found future to be one of these nightmares that would come to her subconsciousness once before... until she met the other survivors of course.

Yeah... turns out I didn't have another favorite male character that I played after all. So, from this point on, all the present day characters I present will be female, since I typically tend to favor my female characters over my male ones. As far as preferences go, that kinda makes me like Yui in a sense, main difference being that I actually choose to play male characters for balance reasons. But anyway, it kinda took me a while to decide who to put up first, since I have so many females.

In the end, I decided that today I'll showcase Destiny Barrach from :Alive: The Southern Suffering. Which has now become a fan-fic. Which I believe Dad is still working on. Updates to that fic come at about as quickly one would expect, considering he's hosting another RP and actually has to do his job as a moderator on top of that. Although I'm a little behind on chapter reading due to trying to get a personal project off the ground, I will say that from what I've read of the fic so far, I like the direction Dad's taking Destiny, and I'd like to extend kudos to him for taking time out of his day to allow her to continually evolve as a character.

...

Destiny is one of seven survivors hailing from different countries of the world (Lindow doesn't count, since there was no indication of his existence in the RP itself), who was brought into the future to help combat evil beings known as Majin. She comes equipped with a two-handed broad sword called Thanatos, which is named after the Greek God of Death and grants her a variety of special abilities. As you'd expect, Destiny bears the Darkness element through wielding a Fayth associated with death. This actually means that Des gets the short end of the stick, since there were many Majin in the :Alive: Database that resist Darkness, and there was literally none that were weak to it at all. No doubt I was dismayed about realizing this, but I pressed on nonetheless, since it was the better thing to do as an RPer.

Creation was relatively easy after the initial hurdle of deciding which god I wanted to base my Fayth around. The weapon shape was probably my first though, and easily the easiest. Then came spells; the previous incarnation mostly had life steal spells followed by Hypnotic Glare since I couldn't think of anything else before remembering that Thanatos was paired with Hypnos, the god of sleep, and I didn't want to run just two spells. For the Southern Suffering though, I felt obligated to update the app as a whole, and adding two more spells was a big part of it. Unholy Prison represents how Thanatos was bound by chains in order to stop people from dying, and the reason I added a speed buff to A Promise of Death is because Thanatos is actually more known for peaceful deaths... and sometimes the most peaceful death one can give is a quick one. After the combat stuff was handled, the next question I asked myself was... who'd fit the whole Darkness theme?

That question alone is what made me decide that Destiny would be a goth girl, since that was the most obvious answer to that question. Of course, I felt as though I needed ominous sounding name to go with that, and thankfully I'd discovered fantasynamegenerators.com prior to applying for the first :Alive:, so I could scrum around there for a name that I thought would fit. It turned out the word 'destiny' could actually be used as a girl's first name, so I just went with that, although I wound up changing the surname because I wanted Des to have a Scottish accent that she'd have gotten from her father. Bio was the hardest thing, because it always is for me personally, but I eventually managed to scrounge one up that was acceptable... and didn't actually need much updating, thankfully :]

...

And there you have it. Des gets the honor of being the first of my favorite female characters to be showcased. Stay tuned for the next one.

[spoiler=Aurora Steele, A Cute And Lovable Mountainous-Breasted Dummy]

JEFg4HN.png

"Wooooow, they've grown so big, I... I think I can fit brains in these now! Probably the smartest idea I've come up with in a while."

Personal Information
YCM Username: Look up, then look slightly to the left. Hooray(!), ya found it :]
Character Name: Aurora Steele
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 15
[spoiler=Appearance:]Badly over-sized rack aside, Aurora appears much like any other innocent teenage girl. She is 163cm (5' 4") which, although not impressive although, is a somewhat normal height for a girl to stand at. However, Aurora is actually heavy for a girl her age, weighing in at a grand total of 66kg (145lbs). This isn't completely outside the realm of health considering her stocky build, and while she has a little much fat around the stomach area, the vast majority of the excess weight comes from her buttocks and especially her enormous breasts. Speaking of which, her BWH ratio is 40-26-32 if measured in inches and 102-66-81 if measured in centimeters. Aurora can often be seen carrying a couple of pompoms with her, one for each hand, that she uses for cheering in general as well as for one of her powers.

c524f897a9faf8ecc537779cf34991d21dcc1dfb

[spoiler=Personality:]Just witnessing some of her actions alone is enough to tell that Aurora is running low on intellect. In fact, especially in comparison to almost any other SPP, Aurora may actually prove to be outright retarded. It takes her a good while to make any sort of decision, even the most basic decisions with the most obvious choices. and even once she does decide on the course of action that she wants to take, then it will either be neither the best nor the worst decision, or it will actually be the worst decision Aurora could've ever made... half the time of which is the latter. Aurora is also slow to react to certain stimuli; even if she can clearly see something that would normally trigger an immediate response, her brain may not click on to that fact until it's well beyond too late to remedy the situation. On top of that, Aurora can and will forget about almost anything at any instance of time, even something that she may or may not have just had a panic attack over a few minutes ago.

It's difficult to befriend Aurora for that reason, though her being as ditsy as she is seems to be the only true hurdle one has to overcome. She's cute, she has a very lovable and innocent nature to her that may or may not come off as childish, and although she's infamous for her horrible decision making, she means well in the intention department and she's a nice person all-round. She also does whatever an adult tells her to do to the best of her ability. The only qualm she has with an order is if she already tried to do that specific thing several times... and failed miserably. Aurora may not know a lot, but she does know what exactly she's capable of, for the most part. All Aurora truly wants, however, is to have a little fun and a few friends to share her fun with. She is easily excitable, and loves playing with almost anything or anyone. This seems to indicate that Aurora has a rather simplified mind, which would explain why all this complicated theory just flies right over her head. There's one general rule to keep in mind when dealing with Aurora: Give her a puzzle and she'll only be dismayed, but give her any old toy and she'll occupy herself for days.

[spoiler=Background:]Aurora Steele was always a special little girl. Even though her parents were only of medium wealth, she was spoiled rotten with a whole mess of toys to play with. This was easily enough to keep her occupied while her parents did other things. One day, however, Aurora's parents took her out to a park and left her to her own devices. Aurora was playing by the river that had run through the park when she found herself a mysterious rock near the edge, which had resembled a pretty looking, albeit jagged-edged, sapphire. This was a Pemalyte, and it had been pulsating a blue aura, as if it was calling out to the girl. Being none the wiser, Aurora picked up the Pemalyte and took it home with her when her parents came to collect her. That must've been 10 years since then, and this whole time it had been greatly affecting her body. It was almost as if she had hit puberty abnormally early. Sure enough, this would always catch others' attention when Aurora was sent to school with everyone else.

At first everyone started teasing Aurora and laughing at her expense. But as her breasts became more and more massive, the boys would always freeze in their tracks, unable to help but stare blankly as they bounced up and down as she moved. The girls, on the other hand, were somewhat disgusted. Some had even gone so far as to shove Aurora into her locker as she was getting something. They tried to close it on her, but her breasts were too big and stopped the door from being able to latch. This triggered Aurora's claustrophobia and, in a flustered panic, she thrust the locker door back open, sending the female culprits flying backwards as she did. Needless to say, Aurora was expelled for inflicting grievous injuries but, after a few days, she was enrolled into a new school; one that would hopefully fit someone like her perfectly into the roster.

Combat Information
Stone: Pemalyte

[spoiler=Powers:]Bouncy Bouncy: A power that is straight-forward to some extent, Aurora whips out her pom-poms and starts dancing in a manner that causes her breasts to jump all over the place. This affects everyone that she does not have her back to, even her allies. Aurora can stop this power at will, and at its maximum duration it lasts until Aurora herself loses balances, which will inevitably happen after 30X seconds (X is her current level of Dexterity in this case). Aurora can still move while dancing, but any attacks that she attempts to dodge will guarantee a shorter duration of the power's effects. It affects boys differently from how it affects girls and is most effective against humans:

- In the case of boys, they will be severely distracted from the constant bouncing of Aurora's... dancing, for lack of a better word. And aside from having to deal with blood gushing from their noses, their movement and reaction speeds will be slowed as a result. The percentage of the movement and reaction speeds a boy will maintain while under this effect, compared to their normal movement and reaction speed that is, is set at 80 + 2X, where X is their current level of Mentality.

- In the case of girls, they will be so offended by what exactly they're seeing that not only with they automatically close their eyes in a heartbeat, but their brains will not allow their eyes to open again while Aurora is still dancing. For obvious reasons, this greatly compromises the accuracy of all attacks that a girl tries to make. The chance that an attack made by a girl under this effect will hit its mark is set at a percentage of 60 + 4X, where is their current level of Mentality.

- Lesbians will be affected by this power in a similar manner to straight boys, whereas gay boys will be completely unaffected.

Aurora Shock-Wave: Punches and kicks that Aurora makes have the ability to cause a shock-wave from the point of impact, which will shake up anything it comes into contact with. The shock-waves themselves don't inflict any damage, but person caught inside a shock-wave will find their dexterity fall by one stage for about 15 seconds. Multiple punches and kicks that connect at the same spot will compound the shock-waves that materialize from them, allows the shock-waves to travel down farther range.

Attributes:

  • Strength: 3
  • Speed: 2
  • Durability: 3
  • Dexterity: 1
  • Mentality: 0
  • Powers: 1

Main Theme Song: SOS, by Rihanna

Battle Theme Song: Ogre Battle 64 OST: Decisive

Ideal Voice Actresses: Luci Christian (En)/Mai Nakahara (Jp)

Tidbits of Trivia:

  • Aurora has two very distinct phobias; aichmophobia and claustrophobia. Her aichmophobia is especially known to be triggered around scalpels, hence why she never had a breast reduction, and she discovered that she had claustrophobia when a group of school girls had shoved her into a locker, but failed to close it.
  • Aurora reacts weirdly to certain kinds of physical contact, and if said contact happens to hurt her, then she'll rub the thing opposite the one that actually hurt. For example, if she got jabroni slapped on the right cheek, Aurora will rub the left one instead as if the pain will go away that way.
  • Aurora's breasts are always bouncing whenever she makes any kind of movement, no matter how slight. As one would expect, they bounce more vigorously the more quickly she tries to move, and she's vulnerable to throwing herself off balance if they bounce too much on her for too long.
  • Aurora and Kai are good friends. In Aurora's case, she's just glad that Kai doesn't stare daggers into her just because of a humiliating difference in breast size.

C'mon, you know I was gonna play someone with mountain-tits at some point of time during the course of my RPing. Don't pretend you didn't see that coming <_<

...

Anyway, this was meant to be one of my fun characters. It'd been a while since I let go of the more serious archtype that I'm used to, and fortunately for me, an RP cropped up in which a comedy-orientated character would fit in without ruining the experiences of everyone else that made a character for it as a whole. The RP in question was called Sion's School of Misfit SPP's, and in it was the girl that I'm showcasing today, Aurora Steele.

Unfortunately, Sion's School fell faster than even my RPs usually do... and that was a damn shame. I myself only managed one or two posts before the RP kicked the bucket, and I didn't even get to see how she'd fare against the first boss. Although I'd question how quickly he was introduced.

Aurora is one of my favorite characters not because of the creation itself, but because of all the things I was planning to do with her. I want to be able to use Aurora, at least use something along the lines of what I've done, for another RP that would allow for a comedy-orientated character without ruining the overall experience, even if the RP itself winds up to be comedy-orientated. But I feel as though that's like asking all the stars in the sky to align :/

For the record however, it should be noted that although I do follow the "bigger is better" approach, I'm actually perfectly fine with any size of breast for the most part. I'm not the most comfortable with flat girls, I'll admit, but I can live it as long as they're not being overly sexualized or something...

Oh, and for those of you who noticed the broken link, I tried to fix it. The image itself had been removed from Safebooru, and while I did manage to find a similar image, that one has the girl's shirt open and a visible bra, which I didn't think was suitable for posting on YCM. I don't know why Safebooru decided to keep that one and ditch the one that I already had previously, and I don't approve of that decision, but there's nothing I can do about it.

...

Kai Alvarado will be next week's addition to the almighty Lair of Characters. Stay tuned until then :]

[spoiler=Kai Alvarado, A Nephilim Sorely Lacking In Conscience]CNeSVeE.png

"And just look at the fucks I give; they're literally as nonexistent as my tits are."

...

"...I hate my life so much."

Personal Information
Name: Kai Alvarado

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Species: Nephilim: "Alright, so lemme explain what I am real quick. I'm part human and part angel... and not even the good part either. I don't get that fancy-ass halo above my head, any wings sprouting from my back or any of that cool sheet like Mom does. The only part we get to keep as nephilims is similar powers to our angel Moms and Dads; but even then, there's no way in hell they'll ever be as strong, and even worse, how early we get access in the first place depends entirely on... how goody-two-shoes we were since we were born, ooooooh. Well, it's not a problem for most of the other nephs, since they would actually have been born with a lot deeper level of conscience as a part of their mindsets than humans do. But then there's the outcasts... like me, who Karma just won't stop biting in the ass. Oh, and the most common way to get a neph is if the angel fucks the human. It's still possible for the angel to get funked by the human though, in order to get your neph. And I know this cause otherwise I couldn't be born."[spoiler=Appearance:]"Below is a pic of me leaning forward on a desk in my usual posture, as I do. I only stand at 147cm, which is about 4' 10", and I weigh 49kg/108lbs. Stalfos told me to give you my BWH ratio as well; I dunno why he insists cause literally no-one else gives out that information, but fine, its 17-18-18 in inches and 43-46-46 in centimeters. That's right, I'm as flat as a brick and it pisses me off. You had one job, puberty. One job! Ugh, enough of that, let's gets off of the lack of tits I have and move on. I have sunny blonde hair which I tie into twintails with black ribbons, and I have onyx black eyes, the right of which has this stupid mole under it. They say it's called a beauty mark, but it does a pretty good job of doing the exact opposite. I'm just glad it's just under my eye and nowhere near my mouth where it'd really ruin everything. Oh, and I wear a blue and white shirt, a green hoodie and grey shorts. And no, I don't wear a bra. If I had an actual pair of tits I would, but I don't. So I don't..."

sample_da1c54edea5effebcaa1a03a33c136d0d

[spoiler=Personality:]"People say I'm a jabroni, but whatever. I mean... what's the point of making any friends when you have no choice but to kick everyone's ass in the tourney anyway? That just gives them more of a reason to hold back, more than anything... and the number one rule in this thing, according to this half-brother of mine anyway, is never to expect mercy from anyone at all. The second rule, again according to this half-brother of mine, is to always look after numero uno. He expects me to have taken those to heart, though I do a pretty good job of the latter anyway. Y'see, I'm not like most nephilims at all. I'll say and do what's on my mind whenever it's on my mind, and I don't tend to give a rat's ass what people think about my choice of words. I also lack this thing called a filter, apparently. I dunno why I should care, but never mind that."

"There's a reason I have this kind of attitude, by the way. I wasn't exactly born with a naturally deep level of conscience like most nephs are, and it's been going downhill from there ever since I found out that determines how early we nephs get our fancy powers and sheet... and that I'm right down in the bottom of the barrel in that regard. I hate myself for it. And I hate so much about myself that I'm not afraid to pick myself apart, and the only way I'm gonna cope with my shitty self-esteem is if I pick everyone else apart as well. A lot of my sheet self-esteem boils down to me being loaded with envy and spite. It takes extremely thick skin to handle all the spite I can dish out, and I'm not gonna suddenly apologize and say I didn't mean a certain thing, because I mean at least half of the sheet that comes out of my mouth at any point of time."

"But hey, I'm doing you guys a favor by making you hate my guts. I wanna see everything you've got to give, and if you try to half-ass it or throw away the fight, then you'll never live it down; that I'll make sure of. If there's one type of being I despise most, it's the pussy ass jabroni type of being. Of course, I don't aim to kill anyone here, but I will kill the bastards that piss me off. We could do with less of them anyway. Oh, and between you and me, I'm not really here for the prize money. I suppose I could use it all on tit and ass implants and laugh at everyone who wanted it for more important reasons, but apart from that, I don't even want it. I'm just here to kick a bunch of bastards and chew some bubblegum. And I'm all out of...(!) Wait, funk, there's still some in my left pocket. Hang on a mo."

*mgmgmgmgmg*

"K, now I'm all out of gum."

[spoiler=Biography:]"So Mom had found a couple of homeless people, a guy and a girl, trying to survive off the streets of... Detroit, I think she told me she found them. Mom couldn't let them suffer, so she helped them out, as you do... and then she and the guy funked. ...yeah, I don't know why Mom would fall for a human either, especially in place of another angel like herself. But it happened anyway, and she said it was good sex that she hadn't had in a long time. And then nine months later, enter me; Kai Alvarado. Of course, Mom would pay a visit to the couple while she was still pregnant with me. And of course, Mom would've had to explain that the guy that she kept having sex with while she was pregnant was actually my Dad all along, and that the girl would be my crazy aunt. And I don't even mean to say that lightly, she was legit mentally unstable. It probably explained why she was homeless. Though I guess it's cool that Dad had been trying to get this crazy aunt of mine out of the rut she was in, though he was a bit of a jackass and got himself too deep in it and wound up losing everything himself, and that Mom was able to pull through right in the end."

"In any case, living with a couple of homeless humans was practically uneventful. About the only things I learnt were directly from Mom, and even then, I only really learnt how it sucked to be me. But one day, I went to the store to get some food, only for someone completely foreign to me to stop me in my tracks, just as I decided to take a shortcut in a random alleyway. He obviously didn't want people to know what he looked like since the cloak he wore covered his whole body, but I could tell that he was a full-blooded angel like Mom due to the halo above his head. Though if I had to guess, he would've been a fallen angel; that halo was definitely dimmed down from the one above Mom's head, and it had taken on a purple hue of sorts. Anyway, I was quick to ask what was going on and who the hell this fallen angel was supposed to be, only for him to tell me that we were half-siblings. This sounded like complete bullshit when I first heard it, but Mom would've confirmed that was the case I'd next talk to her. So... I had a half-brother who became a fallen angel at some point of his life. Go figure. Though how he knew who I was all this time, I have no idea."

"This half-brother of mine said he needed my help, so at this point I was all ears. He spoke about the Secret Cup Tournament, and that the gods have been participating in it in ages past. Apparently his own Dad got in on it and died, and his Dad got in and died and his Dad got in and died and yada yada yada you get the idea. Now the only "gods" that were left were the fallen angel I had for a half-brother and a handful of demon lords or some sheet like that, last I heard from him. He didn't think he could survive one more round, and although he tried asking Mom, she was adamant that she wouldn't be able to go through the whole aspect of fighting. He seemed serious about avenging his old man's death so I guessed I had to oblige him, though I told him I was gonna have to make some preparations. I took his offer to train me up, and I managed to extract plenty of milk from Mom's boobs, which I hope was enough to last the whole tourney. She wasn't too happy about the last part, especially not when I explained that I needed it for the tourney itself, but she knew damn well she couldn't stop me. Now there was only one thing left to do: Get in there and kick all the ass!"

Combat Information
Weapons & Equipment: SPAS-12 Shotgun: "...it's cool, I guess. A little lacking in range, but that's where the wings I can sprout come into play. And hey, nearly everyone else here seems to be running melee anyway, so theoretically I can blow their heads off before they even get anywhere near me! How cool is that?! Of course, I had to have training from this half-brother of mine, which I made him give me before I got into this thing. But the more important thing is that I'm liking it."

Ethereal Wings: "Did I mention that I could sprout wings? No? Well I just did. Of course, these aren't exactly the real deal; not only do they disperse when they're struck but also at the end of a fight that I may be in. But they're better than nothing. With these, I can fly up and down, move wherever I want in the air, and close or lengthen the distance between myself and any of these bastards fighting me... unless of course one of them's a CHEATING HAXXOR baka!! In any case, these should serve me well."

Angel's Breast Milk: "Ah yes, Mom's good old-fashioned boob juice. Don't judge me, alright(?); this is actual liquid gold that I put into my water bottle before I go into each battle. The look, the taste, the feel... k, guess that explains why it feels like a ton in my stomach. Anyway, this helps me with my abilities and makes me physically go faster and harder as well, but I get this weird fuzzy feeling inside of me that I can't even figure out. All I know about it is that OD'ing on this stuff will make lose the will to fight entirely, which sucks cause then there's no point to the buff. But hey, maybe I can force-feed it down the other guy's throat and make them forfeit or something. It might less of this succulent milk for me to enjoy, but whatever works. My whole fridge is loaded with 10-gallon canisters of the stuff, just so you know. It better be enough to last me for this whole tourney, or else Mom would've embarrassed herself all over the internet for nothing... except my amusement."

Power Array: Regenerating Body: "So... yeah, my body recovers from wounds much faster than the human body does. Go figure. I mean, it's more effective when I drink my specialized milk and it gets overtaxed by bastards going aggro on me, but there's nothing else to say about it."

Halo Mesh: "You may have I kinda forgot to mention that a halo appears above my head when I sprout my wings, but that's only because most of the time it just sits there. I can throw it like a frisbee though, and if it hits anyone, it wraps itself around them and stops them from moving anywhere."

Headshot Resistance: "Of course, there's always that one noob that will think he killed me just because he lucksacked a headshot on me. Joke's on him, though; I can take headshots for days and... OK, maybe not days. They still hurt like funk and I can still bleed out if my body doesn't hurry up and regenerate it. But I can still tank it better than any human is ever going to and kick the noob in the ass as punishment. for making such a cheap shot on me."

Divine Justice (LOCKED): "Now this is what I'm talking about. I gather up all this light energy that I could have in me and then... BANG!! It expels outwards towards all the dumbasses that get themselves caught in the blast radius. Can't wait to use this right out the gate and just own people with it. They won't even see it... wait, it's locked? LOCKED??!! God damn it, Stalfos, you got me all hyped up for nothing! jabroni."

Originally I was gonna use Kai for Sion's School of Misfit SPP's as well, to go along with Aurora Steele above. I believe I had her surname as Sanchez instead of Alvarado at that time, and I had a slightly different appearance for her as well. But I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted from Kai from that stage, and by the time I had any ideas... I think you know what happened already. But anyway, needless to say that I was dismayed, but thankfully I was able to bring Kai into Golden Gate Empire: Dreams of Grandeur instead, where she actually got the chance to shine... to some extent.

"Some extent?"

Yes, Kai. Some. And what the hell're you doing here, anyway? You're supposed to be fighting Rawal back in the Church of Jubilee.

"Oh that? That's been paused at the moment. We're still waiting on that other writer to let us know if that geezer actually took a hit."

We are, too. I'll see what's going on after I've finished here, but first...

...

As you guys may have noticed, I'd given Kai the ability to make momentary breaks through the fourth wall. I contemplated on mentioning it as one of her four abilities that our characters, but I didn't really think it would achieve anything useful, so I kept it a secret until now. The idea came to me when Cowcow filled his app for Bethany in a unique way, making it look as though Bethany herself was freely giving out information about herself. Seeing that, I thought I'd try it for myself.

"And now you know why I've been spouting out all this sheet about myself while Stalfos usually writes it down for all the other characters he writes up. He even made me give out my BWH ratio, the damn sleaze! And all because I wanted that fourth wall awareness. Not to mention that he wound up under-powering me through locking my Divine Judgement spell and telling me he'd keep it locked until the first round at the very least. I'm pretty sure he regrets making that play now, and I hope that's actually the case because it really pissed me off. I could have used that Divine Judgement right about now!"

To be fair Kai, I wasn't expecting to have such a bad match-up as Rawal is for you right of the bat. Neither of us were.

...

Honestly, the best match-up I could've possibly hoped for was Kai against Bethany, since the two of them would've been at the lowest tier out of all eight of the finalists. I'd like to think Kai would've won that specific match-up in the end, but I'd prefer it if we actually had the chance to play it out so I'd know for sure. Another match-up I wouldn't have minded Kai having would be against Lace, which I believe was the preferred match all-round. But I guess that's what RNGesus does best; screw over anything and everything at any single point of time. Oh well; all things considered, the current battle is actually going well for Kai despite the natural disadvantage. True, she owes a lot of her survival of this round to her alliance with Choros, the stage boss of the Church of Jubilee. But I just had Kai launch an attack (specifically a shotgun blast) at Rawal so then it feels less like the win is being outright handed to her, but we'll see what that actually accomplishes.

Oh, and for those of you who care, the other significant bad match-up for Kai would be against Mango, whose long reach practically negates any advantage that the shotgun normally has against melee characters and prevents Kai from dealing any meaningful damage without the risk of being swiped herself. Though there's no way in hell we'd actually get to see such a fight actually go down now, is there, Kai?

"You kidding? I'd have surrendered right of the bat if it means getting away from that reeking jabroni!"

Uh huh. Anyway, you better get back into position. If this certain other writer we're currently waiting on actually manages a post before you get back, I might have to write a lil' something about you somehow being caught out of bounds on the arena...

"Seriousl-(?) ...yeah, alright."

And you guys stay tuned for next week's character, another one from my collection of personally hosted RPs.

[spoiler=Skyler Gallegos, Daughter of an Infamous Criminal Mastermind]

4PPP8Wl.png
"Oh, no. What the hell have I gotten myself into?"
Personal Information:
Name: Skyler Gallegos
Gender: Female
Race: Faunus - Snake
Age: 16
Reference: Herrerasaurus
Team: SRUZ
[spoiler=Appearance:]From the top of her scalp to the tip of her tail, Skyler's full body length measures out to be a massive 216cm (7' 1") long. However, she only seems to stand at a much less impressive 165cm (5' 5") tall, and she weighs 63kg (139lbs) all up. While not impressive, Skyler does sport a good figure, with a BWH ratio of 23-20-20 if measured in inches and 58-51-51 if measured in centimeters. Although it may not look it on the surface, Skyler has a vast array of scars all over her body. Only one of these scars, specifically the one below her left eye, is covered up by a bandage; one more can be found on the back of her left hand and another along her right wrist, but the rest are all covered up by her clothing. This consists of a black jacket with yellow insides and stripes, a burgundy tube top and a long blue skirt that falls low enough to cover the entirety of her tail, although not so low that she risks tripping over it. Skyler has a gas mask around her neck, in case she has an urgency to hide her face.

sample_33919a1354829191c6ca4855dc4bb764d

[spoiler=Personality:]On the contrary to what one would believe the leader of any team (let alone the leader of Team SRUZ) to be, Skyler is a shy, timid and very submissive individual, who makes up for her lack of confidence and self-esteem... with a severe dose of paranoia and distrust around complete strangers, as well as a slight fear of crowds. The unfortunate thing is that she has the makings of a coward, and this is especially evident when any of her teammates get into a fight or when someone is after her. This isn't helped by Skyler's first instinct during each battle being to go hide, which seems to take priority even before she makes an attempt to command her team. Speaking of "team", Team SRUZ is somewhat of an unruly and anarchistic lot, and while they seem to be in agreement that Skyler is a shoddy leader, what they most definitely can't agree on is who should've taken her place. Skyler too doubts that she can be a competent leader, and insists that her Semblance and abilities are nothing special in the slightest.

While her grades for Mirage Academy had always been passable, Skyler has never truly excelled in her training to become a Huntress. A lot of that has to do with her naturally defeatist manner; when she witnesses a Team SRUZ member perform better in a mission than she has, Skyler automatically assumes that she herself had failed and is quick to do so. Skyler is also concerned that, should she unleash her full potential, she may lose control of herself out of blood-lust, and hurt innocent people as a result if not her own teammates. However, if there's any one thing at all that Skyler can do better than most, it's self-preservation. She can keep herself completely out of harm's way whilst her teammates do most of the tanking of Grimm or opposing Huntsman attacks, and although she loses out on chances to kill, she can still use her Semblance to detect hostiles and warn her teammates accordingly. But should any of her friends or teammates be in grave danger, Skyler may finally grow the stones necessary to go all in on her attempt to save them. This out-of-character act maybe enough for Skyler to gain some respect, even if it doesn't last. All in all, Skyler just wants to have a safe haven where she can have some friends and some fun, just like any other 16-year-old girl would want... yet her upbringing prevents her from thinking this is even possible for her.

Skyler doesn't like to talk about her past, and won't confide in anyone out of fear that it might bite her in the ass. She wishes she can open up more, but rarely does so for the exact same reason as why she won't confide in anyone. Unfortunately it's gotten to the point where she feels more comfortable lying straight to the faces of those that she's meant to trust than spilling the beans and telling the truth about herself; this is especially the case when she's desperate for a topic that she has personal issues with to be dropped. However, whether she realizes it or not, something about this gigantic facade that Skyler's putting on has to give...

[spoiler=Biography:]Skyler Gallegos grew up with an older sister named Lillianna Gallegos and a single father named Malachi Gallegos, a man who'd later be infamously portrayed on news across the four kingdoms of Renmant. Of course, Malachi was hoping for a son, but considering the way he decided he'd "spray his seed", he doubted that he could conceive more than two children without troubles from the authorities... and unfortunately for him, probability wasn't on his side. As she was the last child born from Malachi impregnating another woman, Skyler felt as though she already failed her father, but she still wanted to try and prove her worth. Well... at least she thought she did.

As his two daughters grew up, Malachi put Skyler and Lillianna through a series of cruel tests; the first of which would supposedly test their will of self-sacrifice, as well as determine their pain threshold to some extent. Lillianna ended up gouging out both her eyes through this test, whereas Skyler had cut herself multiple times. The only good thing that came out of this accursed test was that Malachi allowed the two sisters to keep the weapons that they used to almost kill themselves with. However, the second and third tests combined were even worse. For the second test, Malachi presented two boxes with ring targets slightly above the center of them, which had both been sealed shut. He told them that there was something inside these boxes and tasked them to kill whatever it was that was inside; but what he didn't tell them was that each box contained an innocent woman that had been kidnapped, drugged and placed inside to rest. And as if the sudden revelation of this wasn't enough, Malachi revealed two more women that he kidnapped, this time of who were bound to a pole and able to do naught but scream bloody murder and try to plead the trio into letting them go.

Rather than listening their pleas, Malachi tasked Skyler and Lillianna into killing these two women in addition to the two they killed unbeknownst to them, and to make it easier for them to pass this third test, he cropped up an imaginary scenario in which the two sisters were leaders of their own team, and the two women, who were supposedly in that team, had betrayed the others and left their love interests and most formidable allies to be slain by the Creatures of Grimm. This seemed to work fine for Lillianna, who beheaded her target with little effort, but Skyler still couldn't bring herself to kill the other woman that Malachi had captured, and as a result, found herself conflicted between failing her own father... again she thought, or throw her conscience to the wind and potentially overwhelm herself with guilt. Tears streamed down Skyler's face as she was steering at the impossible, but after turning up the music that was playing through her scroll to its maximum volume so she wouldn't have to hear the poor woman's screams of suffering, Skyler through one of the many Mulligan Incisors at the woman's chest, the explosion putting the woman out of her misery.

That was the among the last of all the horrendous deeds that Skyler had to perform under Malachi's tutelage, as the latter was arrested by police after long and tiresome chase, and brought into court and tried for his actions. Malachi was originally charged with 6 counts of kidnapping and 6 of murder, until Skyler pleaded with the judge to letting her father go, confessing to 2 of the murders that he'd been charged with in the process. Lillianna, reluctantly, also confessed to 2 murders. However, the remaining 2 counts of murder, as well as the original 6 counts of kidnapping, were still more than enough for the judge to sentence Malachi with life in the Vacuo Correctional Facility without the possibility of parole. Had these figures not been altered, they would've actually been enough to sentence Malachi to death, but Skyler's desperate plea had moved the judge into revising these figures. Unfortunately for her, it wasn't enough, and she was left brokenhearted and without a father. Even to this day, this tragedy seems to have taken a grave toll on her confidence levels, but her hand was forced into moving on nonetheless.

Lillianna had been looking after Skyler and acted as her guardian for a time, as she was the only blood relative that could be at her side whenever she needed to be. She had gotten an invitation to attend Sanctum Academy which was all the way in Mistral, but she refused to go; not until Skyler would be in the care of capable hands. Thankfully, Lillianna managed to procure a face-to-face meeting with Levi Farrier, the headmaster of Mirage Academy within her home kingdom of Vacuo. This concluded in Levi personally enlisting Skyler into the academy itself. Within Mirage Academy, Skyler's grades proved to be passable, but a sudden influx of other students being scouted to join Shade Academy's ranks in place of her had her believing otherwise. Skyler asked Levi about this sudden influx, causing the latter to breath a heavy sigh before answering.

It turned out that Levi had been sending reviews of the higher talented students' grades to the headmistress of Shade Academy herself, as he had personally been informed that the White Fang had intended to perform a mass-recruitment that would specifically target the faunus students of Mirage Academy. He explained that this way, he could at least prevent the talents of those with exceptional promise from falling into the wrong hands, and that he sent reviews of some humans' grades as well as those of the faunus that he believed were too valuable to lose for... equality purposes. As he was explaining this, Skyler realized that she was vulnerable to the mass-recruitment as well, and begged Levi to send hers too, but he insisted that she wasn't ready. A heated argument ensued between the two, before Levi ordered Skyler to get out of the headmaster's office. On the way out, however, Skyler stealthily slipped out an application form while Levi busied himself with paperwork and took it with her, figuring that if he couldn't save her, then she'd have to save herself. So she filled it out, falsifying key fields that would prevent her from being accepted if she were to write them in an honest manner, and trying her best to keep her writing steady so it wouldn't raise any red flags. Skyler couldn't believe her luck that her lies were enough to get her through to Shade Academy, but unfortunately for her, this would end up being her biggest regret she ever had.

Combat Information
Weapon Name: Mulligan Incisors
[spoiler=Weapon Description:]On the surface, the Mulligan Incisors appear to just be any old ordinary kunai. However, there is a pin that can be pulled from the ring at the bottom of the handle. Once this is done, the blade of a Mulligan Incisor will sound a series of three beeps, one per second, before it explodes and sends shrapnel flying everywhere on the fourth. Skyler has developed a unique way of throwing the Mulligan Incisors, where she'd throw them similarly to the average kunai, but maintain grip on the rings instead of letting go of them entirely. The blade and handle of the Mulligan Incisors are still propelled forward without any noticeable drop in speed, and this provides enough momentum for the pins to be pulled right at the start of the throw. This way, Skyler doesn't have to do two separate motions or worry about throwing an unwieldy Incisor.

[spoiler=Semblance:]Using her semblance, Skyler is able to detect signatures of body heat from any being within a 360o radius of her position. There is no known limit to the number of heat signatures that Skyler can detect at any time, as long as they're at a range that would put them in her line of vision once she turns around. This may sound like a great boon to Skyler, but from a psychological standpoint it's a double-edged sword; especially considering the fact that she's prone to paranoia. Thankfully, Skyler is able to differentiate one heat signature from another while the bodies themselves are far enough apart. She can even tell which heat signature belongs to who if it belongs to someone she's familiar with, as well as what type of Grimm is there if it belongs to one. In a crowd, however, all the heat signatures present would just become a gargantuan blur to her. Skyler also has trouble keeping up with fast-moving enemies, whether they're in her natural vision or they were detected by her Semblance.

There's one more thing about Skyler's Semblance that one should know; if it detects a Grimm of immense power, such as a Goliath or an Adult Ground Dweller, Skyler will suffer a severe mental trauma that assaults all her nerves at once. She can disable her Semblance just like any other Semblance can be disabled in order to prevent the trauma from inflicting any (more) damage to the rest of her brain, but if the Grimm she's fighting against happens to be highly evasive as well, then she will effectively be fighting it almost blind, and if she keeps the Semblance active for too long, her mind will deteriorate just with the creature's presence alone. If Team SRUZ ever finds itself facing off against a Grimm of immense power, then Skyler will have to adjust between disabling and re-enabling her Semblance, and learn to fight through the pain that her mental trauma will no doubt inflict. That is the only way that Skyler can make the most of her Semblance despite the severe setback.

Here, we have probably the most spineless character ever to be put in a leadership position. This is Skyler Gallegos from RWBY: A Fang's Mark, the second most recent RP I've ever made on YCM. The RP itself is also the second RWBY RP ever to hit the YCM's shelves, the first being one that was made by Parenthesis. The biggest problem that stopped that RP from even managing an IC was that people took too long to make characters for all the teams that had to be filled before it could begin. With my one, I managed to counteract the problem by filling up the spare slots with NPC's that each team could interact with. I do intend to reboot this RP someday, but I still haven't decided on when I'd wanna do. Perhaps when Sai gets back from his funk, if only so I catch as many people that were previously in it as possible. (Out of those I'd want back, ofc.)

But I digress; back to talking about Skyler. A lot of the inspiration I got for investment into the creation of Skyler's character was taken from Jaune Arc, the leader of Team JNPR from the RWBY show itself. In one of the Season 1 episodes, Jaane outright states that he falsified transcripts and lied his way into getting in Beacon Academy when he's talking to Phyrra on a rooftop. You can see in the bio that I've taken a similar approach with Skyler, who was desperate to get herself into Shade Academy so that she would no longer be vulnerable to the White Fang's recruitment schemes, which Mirage Academy had little protection from. Jaune also begins as a rather meek fighter for the first few episodes before evolving into the character he becomes; this is a key element that I've also placed into Skyler. However, the similarities end here.

Skyler faces a lot of discrimination, not just purely because of the fact that she's a Faunus, but also because of her father Malachi, who has broken out of the Vacuo Correctional Facility along with known members of the White Fang. She hides her snake tail under her dress for these reasons, as she wants to come off as a relatively unremarkable human being. I'd left room for Skyler to finally come out of her shell without breaking character, which I had intended to do in about the middle of the RP before it died right at the start. But yeah, Skyler's spinelessness was a key part of her character, and her cruel upbringing would be more than enough to influence that spinelessness to the fullest.

...

Stay tuned for the next character I unveil.
