~Tesability's POV~

"...cawdsh?"

The dragon blinked at the question, unsure of what was being asked of her. "Haw du yu 'pway cawdsh'," she asked of the odd dragon...human...blue being in front of her, tilting her head slightly to one side and raising the silver leaf that seemed to be an ear up a bit more. "Ai no hewdsh owf dish beefowe."

She looked at the bottles around them, an odd smell reaching her nose and causing her to sneeze, letting loose with a tiny bolt of lightning from her snout. "...sowwy..."

The sneeze, however, forced her to refocus on her surroundings, making her realize that her and the blue being were not the only ones around in this room. "Whu ish yu awl?"

"OK, see you Aur-round!"

Elijah's pun was still fresh in Aurora's head. And I thought Ale was cheesy. Sure hope he's alright... Well now Aurora was just upset. Mauvache had mentioned time not being very linear when the fighters first arrived, but that didn't mean it didn't feel like just a few days ago that several Mar-Vell students had been kidnapped, right there in front of everyone, while the teachers were helpless to stop them. Those were seasoned heroes, veterans so to speak. Aurora was still just an in-training hero; powerful though she may have been, she lacked the invaluable experience they had. She didn't like it, but that was the truth, and she knew it.

The scene played a couple times over in her head as she absentmindedly continued forward. The villain with the floating skulls, how they just snatched multiple students and flew off. That could have been her or even August, and the thought was going to twist her stomach into a knot if she thought about it too long. She didn't get the chance to linger on the kidnappings though, as Aurora was snapped out of her memories of Earth and back to the present of Rama-Indri as she walked straight into a street lamp. Not hard enough to really hurt, but definitely enough to bring her attention back to reality.

Aurora took a moment to glance around at her surroundings, and the map she'd pulled up to reach the TV station. She'd missed a turn somewhere. Oh. Aurora turned around, noticing a lovely fountain with two people discussing something near it. She didn't really hear it, but she did hear when one of them called out to her.

"Hey you there!" Aurora glanced around to make sure there wasn't anyone else the woman could have been calling. "Yes you, you're one of the new fighters aren't you? Aurora right?"

M-hm. She's definitely talking to me. It was rude to shout though, so Aurora approached the pair near the fountain, and once close enough, answered "Yeah, that's me. I'm heading to the TV station for an interview though, and I'd like to get there and back before it gets too late."

"Well you're in luck!" She waved her arm to the side with a flourish, almost hitting the cameraman. "I'm Gabby, this is Ty, we're the interviewers."

"Technically." Ty interjected. "We're not the onl-oof" Gabby cleared her throat and moved her elbow out of Ty's gut.

"Well why don't we get started then?"

"Sounds good to me." How convenient! She'd found the interviewers without having to go all the way to the TV station! Aurora took a seat on the rim of the fountain, looking over her interviewers briefly before fixing her eyes upon Gabby. "What kind of things were you planning to ask me?"

"Well since people already know who you are from the fight...Well how about we start there; what did you think about your very first fight?"

"I think maybe I should have focused more on winning the fight, but I can't change that now. Next time, I'm gonna win."

"Look at that confidence, what a girl! Where does this confidence come from? How do you think you're going to fare from here on out?"

"I'm what you could call really powerful," Aurora answered. A slight twinge of cold began to fill the air around Aurora as she continued  "And it seems like I'll be leaving each fight in as good of shape as I go in, so I can really go all-out like I never could back where I came from. From here I guess it's just a matter of not making bad choices."

"Where do you think you rank among the current fighters then?"

"I'd say...I'll give myself some room for error and say I'm probably the third-strongest fighter overall, at least."

"That's a bold claim, how are you going to go about proving it?"

"Hmmm..." As the air around her continued to cool, Aurora removed the glove from her right hand before placing her fingertips on the water of the fountain. Starting from her fingertips, the water quickly froze into ice, before she put the glove back on her hand and answered "That'll be my starting point. I'll do the rest of my proving when I fight and win against everyone else."

"Can she do that?" Gabby whispered. "We don't have to pay for that, right?" Ty shook his head and Gabby cleared her throat. "Well that's quite something. I suppose we should wrap this up soon, don't want to keep you too long. What do you want from your experience here? Do you have any goals?"

"I'm still getting used to being here, so I don't have much that I really want out of my stay. For now, I'd like to do all these things on the checklist Mauvache gave me and get my name out a bit, and do some fighting in the meantime."

"A very humble answer, for such a confident girl, I look forward to seeing how this all plays out. Ah, before we go, one more thing...What do you think of Caleb?"

"He's..." An icy cloud of breath slipped out of Aurora's nose as she thought about how to answer that one. "Well, I've never been able to get friendly with dogs since my parents were both really allergic. But thinking of him like somebody's pet seems weird and kinda rude. He seems like a super-nice guy, though I wish he was a bit more of a team player when we fought earlier."

"Oho, perhaps a bit of a rivalry could form here. Maybe you'll get a chance to pay him back for that in the future! Look forward to it everyone! That was the ever-confident ice wielding hero fighter, Aurora!" Gabby made a brief motion towards Ty, who stopped recording. "Well, I think we've got enough for now. Maybe we'll talk again once you've become a star, don't forget about us!" With that the two packed up their equipment and went on their way, searching for another of the fighters.

...that was easy, Aurora thought to herself. It was cold here now. Places she remained in for brief periods of time tended to end up like that. Like that one time she tried to take swimming lessons and it took five minutes to get her out of the ice that had formed around her before the pool had closed for the day. That was the day Aurora learned she'd never really need to swim. Today, however, was a day for getting her feet wet in the life of one of Mauvache's arena fighters. It wasn't so bad so far. I kinda want a hot drink now. Aurora gave her map a second look, glancing over it for any nearby place that served hot beverages. Not coffee though. Coffee was too bitter for her liking.

Elijah

As the young man found a suitable place for a sandwich, a small sub shop located not too far from the fountain that Aurora had gotten her interview, Gabby locked her sights on the duelist.

"That's...yeah, I am sure of it, hey, heeeey, yooohoooo!" She called out before running up to the young man, disturbing a few of the shop's patrons in the process (which caused Ty to stop to apologize to each of them). "You're Elijah, correct?" Her voice was low but a couple people nearby overheard and perked up. "I was wondering, unless you're busy eating, if you'd care for an interview!"

Cyanthrax

"...I'm Millie." She muttered as the boy ran off. He was...less loud than she expected.

Cyan would find the TV Station to be a bustling place by the time he reached it. It seemed that everyone was working overtime in light of the official start of the fights. He'd be bumped and shuffled around as he made his way to the desk where he'd have to talk to the harried secretary about the commercial.

If he manages to get her attention she'd tell him to take take the stairs up to the upper floors. It would be a long walk but in the end he'd wind up in front of a door with a plaque that reads "Director"

Inside he'd find a thin middle-aged man who'd look at him with eyes heavy with bags. "Whozzat?" He'd say. "What do you want?"

Aurora

The girl, upon leaving the interview, would find a cafe near the Arena from whence she originally came. It seemed to be a coffee shop which might turn her away but, at second glance, turned out to have other drinks such as hot cocoa.
Inside the place had dim lighting, faint jazz music playing in the background, and very few customers. In the corner of the cafe, in a booth by herself, was a girl in a waitress uniform whom Aurora wouldn't recognize as having come from the Arena. The rest of the customers were mostly older men who were grouped together discussing some sort of business.

Aurora and Caleb had parted ways after some brief post-match discussion. She was headed off the TV station and as Caleb had been there earlier in the afternoon saw no need to follow the girl. She assured him she would be victorious next time which admittedly made the canine a little nervous. Aurora reminded him too much of his younger sisters. After sorting out how many points he had after the day's activities, Caleb noticed he had missed some notification or other. A sort of challenge to them to prank somebody for a chance at other points. Six years of experience in security at the Hotel Atlantica set a literal shiver down the dog's spine at the thought of a prank war. In any case it wasn't for him.

Thinking on it now what was for him now that the fight was over? There was still a lot to do in this new world but so with so few points he wondered what all he could manage to do in it. He then remembered he had been thinking of getting his picture taken before Aurora had issued him a challenge. There were supposedly more points to be had from it and he was already close by reception. Upon reaching the desk Caleb had to stop from staring in curiosity at the person there giving information to passerby. It seemed like a rabbit person of some kind. If this was some sort of information desk it seemed like the best place to ask about it. As he approached to ask he felt something off. Like someone was watching him. Usually he was the one people watching so it was odd. Before he knew what was happening Caleb found himself tackled halfway across the room, being vigorously petted on the head.

"What the hell?!" he shouted out. It calmed some as the assailant released him and stood up. Looking at the person, Caleb was surprised to see what seemed like a young adult woman. She had shoulder length brown hair, wore glasses and a fairly short skirt. Embarrassment was the first thing to flash through Caleb's mind. This girl had been petting him and now here he was awkwardly on his back showing everything off. He hurried to his feet as the girl seemed ready to burst with excitement. "Oh my gosh it is you! I'd know the Wonderdog anywhere!" she squealed out in joy. The canine groaned at the use of the title. He'd only been in one fight how were people already recognizing him and by that name. There wasn't much time to question what was happening as the girl produced a camera and began rapidly taking shots at different angles.

"Hey cut it out!" he protested. The girl stopped taking photos for a moment. "You do talk! I knew I wasn't hearing things during the fight. My friends told me I was crazy but I knew I heard you say something! This is great, I didn't think I'd get to meet one of the new fighters so soon!" she said giggling ecstatically. "Can I help you uh..." Caleb said trying anything to get out of this awkward encounter. "Noreen! Noreen Donne. And I'm going to take the best fighter picture ever!" she announced triumphantly. The dog simply cocked his head at the side in confusion. "That's what you were coming here for right? Please tell me that's what you were coming here for." she said practically on the verge of tears now.

"Y-yeah but I thought it was sort of an official arena thing..." Caleb said awkwardly. The girl's spirits revived with the answer. "This is my chance! You just have to get a picture you like and submit it. Please let me do it for you! I'm an art student and this would be soooooooo good for my portfolio. Please please please please please please pleeeeaaaaaaaase!" she begged, getting closer to the dog with every please. There seemed no immediate escape to this scenario. "A-alright fine. Where do you want t-" he questioned but was scooped up and carried off at what felt near mach speeds. An older couple leaving the arena noticed the girl rush past with the dog in her arms. "That girl really loves her dog." the woman commented to her husband. "Almost feel sorry for the poor thing." the man said in response. Caleb meanwhile was howling in protest wondering yet again how his life had gone this way. "Give me the damn Leviathans back, please." he begged in his mind to some deity or other. The Security dog was out for a photoshoot on the town and when he returned, or what shape he would be in, was anyone's guess.

"Whu ish yu awl?"

"..Eh?"

Angela's advances were disturbed by the appearance of a dragon. Oh right, this was the dragon that sang earlier and the one that was another combatant too. Having her join in here shouldn't be too much of a problem, wouldn't it? With a smile Angela led her to where she could comfortably roost among the others, and then she started to shuffle the deck of cards in her hand after taking a few gulp from her drink.

"Say, this is a game we have back there in my world. It's best played with friends and the name was Kladpoker." She then went on for a bit to explain the rules, which would be similar to the usual game of poker if any of them recognized it. "However, while that's the basic, we also add an additional rule: everytime you lose a round, you remove a piece of your clothing. First one that goes naked will have to sing a song that the others pick while we have some other fun too.

Sounds fun? Of course, the dragon's already naked but I can figure out something about that."

Well, after some looking at her map, Aurora had found herself a café. Coffee seemed to be their main deal, which wasn't that thrilling to her at all, but they did other hot drinks as well. Count me in. Aurora stepped inside, to find a dimly-lit place with faint jazz music. Not many people here either. It definitely wasn't what you'd find in Texas, Aurora knew that much. New York maybe? The more Aurora thought about it, the more she realized she never actually took the chance to explore the big city when she was there. Most of the customers seemed to be older men, all sitting together talking about something she couldn't make out. And then there was the one girl sitting by herself, alone, in a waitress uniform. She wasn't from the Arena as far as Aurora could recall.

What would August do? A question Aurora found herself asking every now and again when she wasn't sure what to do. She'd ask herself what her best friend would do, and then...not do that. Knowing August...he'd probably get his drink and ask for it to go, aiming to get home as soon as possible. So she wasn't about to do that. And if August would for some reason opt to stay - perhaps he was secretly really into jazz? - she couldn't imagine him trying to socialize with anyone. He'd most likely sit by himself and mind his own business. So Aurora wasn't doing that either. She was having her drink here, and she was socializing!

With that goal in mind, Aurora walked up to the bar of the café, and looked over the menu before asking "One large hot chocolate please." With that, Aurora waited patiently for her drink to be made and given to her, then she paid the three points the drink cost, taking the first step as she hurried away from the bar so that it didn't get cold there like it had with the fountain. She wanted to talk to that waitress girl. Her "What would August not do?" instincts were telling her to do so. As such, she made her way over to the booth the girl was sitting in, before waving hello and asking "You don't mind if I sit here right?"

Aria

The dragon that Aria had seen in the bathroom earlier that morning had emerged from the TV screen, but she had taken barely any notice to what had happened. Of course, the others were quicker to pick up on who had just arrived. Xia had called her "Tes", so at least Aria had a name. Not one that she would be able to remember in the next few minutes, but a name nonetheless.

"Say, this is a game we have back there in my world. It's best played with friends and the name was Kladpoker." Angela explain, Aria already opening another bottle that the waitress had delivered. Angela then went on for a bit to explain the rules, which would be similar to the usual game of poker. "However, while that's the basic, we also add an additional rule: everytime you lose a round, you remove a piece of your clothing. First one that goes naked will have to sing a song that the others pick while we have some other fun too. Sounds fun? Of course, the dragon's already naked but I can figure out something about that."

Aria finished taking a long drink from her new bottle, and practically slammed it down on the table. At this point, her cheeks were very clearly flushed red. "Sounds like m-" She belches. "-y kinda game!" Aria took a moment to look down at her new body. She didn't hold the same reserves over her physical image as she did her old body. After all, it wasn't her old body at all. However, even she could see that she wasn't the most incredibly attractive girl on the block. "Ah, but you guys are prolly not gonna have much fun seein' me like that!"

Xia was a bit confused at the game that Angela described to them. The dragon girl was well aware of the game of Poker and somewhat familiar with it, due to her caretakers having been avid fan of card games. And since it was a game, and games were naturally fun, Xia had of coursed wished to play it. However, she had never heard of the rule about taking one's clothing off from losing, before. Nevertheless, she figured Angela knew what she was talking about and decided to go along with it as well. With fiery determination in her eyes, Xia clenched her fist tight and said, "count me in!" It was then that Aria had seemed to get bashful of something, to which Xia looked at her with a more carefree smiles. "Don't worry there Aria, I'm sure we'll have tons of fun!" The girl was unaware of any other meaning behind her words, and simply wished to encourage and cheer up her slightly down friend.

The white dot in Tesability's eyes that showed what direction she was looking at was literally forming spirals in her eyes from confusion.

"Ai nu nowsh wha' yu awl tawlkin' abowtsh," the dragonling whined, before closing her eyes and shaking her head, reopening them once she was done and allowed the spirals in her eyes to return to being dots. "Maybeesh Ai wa'sh, den joinsh waetew?" As she asked, she sat down on her rump, wings folded in enough to hide the gold of her underwings.

While she heard the rules, she lifted her muzzle in further confusion upon the mention of 'losing clothes upon losing a hand', and another question crossed her mind. "Doesh dat meansh Ai canna pway?"

She had not caught the fact that one of their number mentioned that they would figure out something for the dragon to act as a substitute for not having clothes to lose.

"Ah, but you guys are prolly not gonna have much fun seein' me like that!"

"Don't worry there Aria, I'm sure we'll have tons of fun!"

"She's right, yep! It's really just in all good fun, and you're not even bad looking either, really!"

Angela continued to shuffle her cards as she continued to drink, but then the dragon spoke up.

"Doesh dat meansh Ai canna pway?"

"Err...well, I guess maybe you don't have to strip, but you still have to sing if you lose. And sure, it's fine if you want to watch us first before joining."

Finished saying that, she had another gulp from her bottle before she started to deal the cards to the others, with the dragon watching on the sidelines for the first few rounds. Those rounds were mostly just to familiarize the players first to the game, so the penalty were not set yet. Once Angela was sure that the dragon had gotten the rules to it, they started playing for real this time.

Soon, more than a hour passed already. The dragon, not being drunk due to not drinking the alcohol in the first place, surprisingly performed really well, while the others were in various state of undress already...although it's not like the dragon had anything to shed in the first place, so during the two or so times she lost a round the others only got her to sing something labeled with heavy metal or something similar. The worst so far was Angela who only had her panties left on her - she was never really good at this game in the first place. Xia was doing pretty well, only having to shed her outer clothing, and Aria was down to her underwears.

However, the games soon came to a halt when Aria, looking pretty trashed already from the alcohol, ended up puking as a bad reaction to the drinks. It was a sign that perhaps they went at it a bit too hard, and the rest ended up deciding to call it off and return to their rooms in the apartment complex, with a promise that they probably should do this again one day. With Aria being completely drunk, Angela ended up volunteering bringing her back to the place, although doing so she had to traverse the city with the girl in tow while she's stuck wearing only her bottom as Aria puked on her pile of clothing.

Wasn't really a first time for Angela however, and even with her condition and a girl that were knocked out cold on her back, she managed to return to the apartment complex. She was wondering whether she should try finding the beholder security guard again to get Aria to her room, but Angela was worried the longer she stayed outside like this, the more likely she'd be struck with Mau's wrath for one reason or another so in the end she opted to just return to her room with Aria. She laid the knocked out girl on her bed, and let her rest there. Sleeping on the floor wouldn't be too bad.

Aurora

"You don't mind if I sit here right?"

Millie looked up with a hint of surprise, seemingly startled by the interruption. Another fighter? Why were they all flocking to her on her break suddenly? She looked around the cafe, and realized that no one had noticed the white haired girl yet. That's good, less of a hassle. But if she turned the girl down it might lead to complications. "Sure, go ahead." She said quietly.

She shifted and fidgeted while sitting across from Aurora. Should she initiate small talk? This wasn't her job she didn't really have to...She just sipped at her coffee, glancing up nervously at Aurora every now and then.

Karaoke Krew (All)

It was around 6 PM when the group finally made their way out, the owners looking at them in apprehension. They muttered among themselves, clearly considering not letting Angela back in again.

The point charge was split evenly between all of the group, through an automated system, and each of them would lose 3 points for their trip.

Upon leaving the building they'd hear loud cheers coming from the small sports stadium nearby. Something exciting was evidently happening there, though the group couldn't see what. In any case whoever decided to return to the apartments would find it fairly easy to reach, albeit they would get some odd looks. Especially if they accompanied the less clothed duo.

Angela

Not long after Angela settled in her room there would be a ringing at the door, someone requesting to be let in. It would continue going and, even if Angela didn't open it, the door would eventually slide open.

Revealing a man with dark hair. Dressed all in black and sporting a very grim expression. "My name is Nezar. I am here at behest of Miss Mauvache." He said, his voice equally grim.

Just then a message would pop up on Angela's watch.

The man sent to your room is one of my employees. I have determined that it is not safe to let you out on your own unsupervised. This man will keep close tabs on you whenever you are outside of the arena and apartments. Do not worry, though, he will not intervene unless there is great risk to the reputation of the Arena. You won't even notice he is there.

-Mauvache

P.S. Don't try and sleep with him.

P.P.S. He probably won't try to kill you

Pawing after the group she found herself with, Tesability's leaf-like ears lifted at the sounds of cheers coming from a nearby place. Turning her muzzle towards the source, she tilted her head at the direction of the stadium that entered her vision from his, appearing to debate something in her head.

"Gesh Ai can peeksh," she remarked to herself as she hopped up into the air, wings flapping as she flew away from the group and towards the stadium.

After a few minutes, she found herself perched on the edge of a stadium, looking around to see what she could spot.

If this stadium is what the writer thinks it is, this dragon's about to get into a fuckton of trouble...

"Sure, go ahead."

"Thanks, 'preciate it," Aurora smiled, seating herself across from the girl and taking a big sip of the hot drink she'd ordered. For most, it'd probably have to cool down a bit first, and would burn their tongues. Aurora knew better; for her, the high temperature was just right, since the drink cooled a bit upon entering her body. The girl, however looked up at Aurora nervously occasionally. Fidgeting and shifting around uncomfortably. Was it Aurora's fault? Maybe she was just really really sensitive to cold and it was already getting to her despite Aurora having only just sat down? She didn't want to make the girl uncomfortable and all, but at the same time, she kind of wanted to sit down and have her drink while not on the go.

"You okay?" she asked. I didn't bring my bag with me either. Dangit. Aurora took down another quick sip of her drink. If it turned out she was cold, Aurora would have to improvise some other solution. The scarf around her neck maybe? Nah. A scarf on its own wouldn't do much.

He had barely heard what the girl had said as he made his way into the building. He was greeted by the sight of traffic. He felt the hit of many elbows and shoulders as he swam across the busy crowd onto the reception desk. "Fucken hell, why is it so CRAMPED?" He thought to himself, slamming his fist down on the receptionist's desk. "HEY!" He shouted, a bit of fire coming out of his mouth. It was clear that he was immensely pissed about the whole situation. "I'm here for that commercial sheet. Where do I go to do that?" The receptionist was clearly not amused, or even phased, by the shouts of the demon. "Just take the stairs up, You'll find your way. Eventually. It'll be the door with 'Director' on it." Cyanthrax let out a short pout before making his way. "Prick..." She muttered, before returning to whatever business she was doing.

Eventually, he made his way to up the stairs and found himself in front of a door with the word 'Director' on it. "This must be the place." Cyanthrax said, before opening the door. Inside was a rather middle-aged man who looked very tired. His eyes, alongside his thin demeanor, made him look sickly. "Whozzat? What do you want?" Cyanthrax let out a cough. "What do you think I'm here for? I'm here to make a commercial." He leaned back on the walls of the room. "Are you the 'director' that I'm lookin for? I ain't got all day ya know."

Elijah was pleasantly surprised to find that just before he got in line for a sandwich, he was approached by a lady and her cameraman, asking for an interview. He'd only had one fight and was already being asked to appear on television? Wow, Mauvache's arena was a bigger deal than he thought.

"Heh, well how can I say no to that face? Maybe not, uh... in here though." and then leads them out to an open space in front where they can talk.

Gabby smiled warmly at the young man as they got into position. "First I'd like to ask you how you feel about your very first fight?"

Elijah blew air out through the corner of his mouth in an exaggerated sigh. "Oh man, where to start? I've definitely never had to fight like this before. The simulation tech you people have is INCREDIBLE. Not even the ARC systems in Seadown City could hold a candle to that! Not to mention, Cyanthrax was tough as nails! I honestly didn't think I was gonna win that match. Right now, feeling a lot of things, but mostly a ton of excitement."

"So you'd say you thought you'd lose? Now that you won, how do you think you'll fare in future fights?"

"Well, yeah. I mean," He held up his hands with a space between them, and then pointed them forward, like he was indicating something in front of him. "With the entire Igknight Archetype's weaponry, magic, and my best buddy Solaris, the King of Flames backing me up? I think I might just have this in the bag. Can't get much worse than that fuster-cluck just now."

Gabby looked towards Ty in confusion, and the cameraman shrugged. "What is this...Archetype you speak of?"

Elijah nodded. "Right. Since this whole planet apparently lives under a rock; let me explain."

"There's a game-sport-weapon in my world called Duel Monsters, or just Dueling. When we Duel, we use a deck of chosen Monsters, Spells and Traps to try and diminish the opponents Life Points to 0." Elijah scratches the back of his neck. "When multiple cards have the same word in their name, and certain cards affect cards with that word in their name, they form an Archetype. My trademark Archetype is the Igknights -- their name is a pun on ignite and knight. They're a team of FIRE Warriors who operate on a system of strength in numbers, destroying themselves and returning to form squadrons of pure offensive power."

"Any card with "Igknight" in their name is a member of the Archetype. It's just a good way to make supporting certain cards and strategies easier."

"The place you come from seems to be quite the violent place. So you must be familiar to this sort of arena then. Do you think that you have any kind of advantage over the others?"

Elijah waved his hand dismissively. "Pssh. Home's not that bad. Sometimes, people forget Duel Monsters is a game and... that's sad." A stormy look filled his eyes for a moment. He dropped his eyes to the ground and kicked it idly. Several faces flashed through his mind's eye...

And then he cleared it with a hard blink and a smile. "But, on-topic: I've been in a TON of tournaments: I've fought while riding a motorcycle, on rooftops, carnival rides," Elijah listed them off on his fingers, but winced at that one, "and so much more. I've got too much experience, and I'm almost twenty years old! If any of these guys have done anything as crazy as the places I've been, and were anywhere near the age I was when I went, then they might just be able to keep up with me. But they haven't, and they weren't, so they don't. I'm used to crazy: I'm already adjusting to this place! The only hard part is the food. Don't ever eat those corn-dog things from the pink food truck first thing in the morning, people."

"Well you certainly aren't shy on the camera. I think you'll do well." Gabby smiled at Elijah. "One more thing before we wrap this up. Do you have any plans or goals going into this?"

Elijah's expression breaks out into a big grin. "That's just it, this whole place is-- It's new, it's exciting, and there's so much to see and do while I'm here! I just want to have fun with it all."

"Well there you have it folks, Elijah, one of the more...energetic fighters we've met so far. Look forward to seeing him in the future!"

With a gesture, Gabby told Ty to stop filming. "Thank you very much for that, Elijah, perhaps we can do this again once you've gotten more used to this place."

"Well how can I refuse an encore," He winked, putting a dash of practiced, flirtatious charm into his words, "When the cameraman and the reporter are both so cute?" and with that, he strolled off with a wave over his shoulders. "Ciao!"

Ty seemed more flustered than Gabby, who simply laughed it off. "Such a bold young man." She grinned.

***

Elijah got his sandwich and sat down on the edge of the fountain to eat. Three points might have felt like a lot, but this sandwich might be too much for him to eat, despite skipping lunch. Checking his watch, he nodded at his point total from everything so far. He'd broken a hundred, meaning he'd more than doubled the amount he had this morning. Booyah!

With the rules out of the way, Xia and the others had gotten to play their game. While Xia had been familiar with the game, she wasn't exactly the best at reading others. In fact, she didn't really seem to putting much thought into what others had at all. and instead seemed merely excited to get cards and play them, regardless of their actual value. Naturally, this meant she was not free from loss. And while Xia had had some fun with the singing and the listening to others sing, she wasn't quite sure where the fun factor from removing articles of clothing came in. Nevertheless, she had put her clothes on, being taught it wasn't good to go out otherwise, and were any of the singers unconscious from the excessive amount of fun they had, Xia would be carrying them along.

As she exited along with her friends, the girl blissfully moved through the streets, unaware of any odd gazes that were being cast upon them. Her attention was eventually caught by the sound of the roar coming from the stadium, which the girl couldn't help but look at in curiosity. While she definitely wanted to go check it out, she needed to make sure that her friends had made it back to their rooms safely. As they got to the apartments, the girl continued to not pay any mind to the gazes being cast upon them and instead wondered just where her friend's room was. As such, once she had gone along side and eventually saw that she got to her room, she then looked towards Aria. Not knowing where they were to stay, she instead decided to leave her in her friend Angela's expert care. With a wave goodbye, the girl didn't look back, feeling content with a job well done on her part.

Still feeling full of energy, the girl still felt like she could get things done. As such, wondering if the ruckus that was going was still there, the girl headed towards the stadium she had passed by earlier.

Finally being able to rest in her room, Angela was still quite overwhelmed by her experiences that day to properly relax, instead she was just squirming on the floor while she tried to get herself comfortable. Well, at the very least the karaoke session was quite fun, she thought. Soon though, someone knocked on her door, and while she wasn't in the mood or position to answer it, the door suddenly slid open, revealing a handsome dark-haired man. He seemed to have a message for her while Angela was busy swooning. Or perhaps not, who knows?

"My name is Nezar. I am here at behest of Miss Mauvache."

And then her watch beeped, with a message revealing his purpose of being there. It prompted Angela to freeze on where she was. She became tense, and turned around to where he man were, but she couldn't see him anymore. He was still definitely somewhere though, and right now Angela was way too concerned at the fact that he's supervising her and the tone Mauvache had on the message.

In the end she ended up deciding to pleasure herself instead to keep her mind off the pressure given to her by Mauvache. Aria seemed to be pretty unconscious right now anyway.

Tesability, 6 PM

As the Pseudo-Dragon flew over the Public Sports Stadium, they would take in dozens of different bundles of information at once. It appeared that the stadium was in a pentagon shape. The wall that Tes was perched on was high up and thick. The inside of the wall showed many different areas, separated by smaller, but still fairly large, walls. Around the edges of these walls were bleachers which each seemed to be able to fit 100 people. In the middle of said bleachers were multiple fields, each with different equipment for various sports. Over there a pole-vault, and in that corner a small basketball court.

The nearest field to the dragon, where the cheering was coming from, was a tennis court. There was a young woman on one side and a rather athletic looking, going off his bare chest, on the other. The man had flowing blonde hair and looked to be a powerful opponent. The woman, on the other hand, seemed also athletic, though not to the same level, with black hair done up in a ponytail.

If Tesability would look at the current score, however, it would show quite the story. The girl was beating the man soundly. They were entering the sixth game of the set and it would seem that the woman had completely shut out the man thus far, 4 points to 0 in each game.

Xia, 6 PM

Xia's trip to the stadium would be much less abrupt. She'd find that the wall that surrounded the place was in fact a building in of itself. A gate of sort where receptionists would greet the guests and direct them through various doors which took them into hallways, the other walls Tesability would have seen, that would in turn lead them into the various fields.
Upon speaking with the receptionists Xia would learn that to observe any of the fields was free but to actually play matches they'd need to pay a small fee. It would also be noted that if you wanted a private match that would need to be stated before entering the field.

She then proceeded to give Xia a very long list of the types of sports available.

Aurora, 5 PM

"You okay?"

Millie stared for a moment at Aurora. Why did she have to keep talking? Was she one of those types that needed to talk and talk? That was such a hassle, she already dealt with that at work. "Yeah I'm fine. Just...taking my break, that's all...Surely you must have more interesting things to do with your time right?" She tried to be as polite as possible but there was a hint of exasperation in the girl's voice. Why was this girl talking with her? She was just some waitress, this city was huge, there were many other more interesting people around...

Cyanthrax, 4:30 PM

"Are you the 'director' that I'm lookin for? I ain't got all day ya know."

"Yes." The man said slowly. It was almost impressive just how slowly someone could say a simple three-letter word. "That is me...Art takes time. If you want to do this you can not rush me....Do you have any ideas for what you want? Tell me them...slowly. All the details."

Cyan would be made to explain whatever it was he had in mind, several times, before the director would take him to the filming studio to begin work on the commercial. It would be an agonizingly slow process and the director would have Cyanthrax do every part several times before letting him move onto the next.

"...Ugh...it's not working..."

Half an hour passed, and Angela was lying on the floor exhausted, her spear stuck between her legs. Her attempt to get her mind off what Mauvache did had failed miserably, and she was still feeling as much dread and worry as before. Her panties had been thrown on the side, and now without anything on her, she slid the spear away from herself and assumed a fetal position.

"...You're still there, aren't you? Just...please, at least show yourself to me."

Her voice sounded quite hopeless and defeated. She thought that perhaps, if she could talk with her stalker, she could ease her mind off a bit more than now. At first though, no one seemed to respond to her call. She blinked a few times, and the man finally appeared before her, standing on the doorway with the same flat expression he always had. If only he's not chaste and not here to stalk her, he definitely looked really handsome. But ah...Finally being able to see the one watching her, Angela sighed in relief. At the very least now she could be sure that she's being watched instead of her paranoia acting up.

"You're going to stick around me from now on, right? What would you do if I...if I strayed from what Mauvache wanted?"

"I would stop you. However seems appropriate in the situation." The man actually answered her question, surprisingly. The answer wasn't really something calming, but it's something.

"I...I see." That didn't ease her mind at all. "How long would you stick around me?"

"Until I am told not to." Another cold response.

"Who...what are you, anyway?"

"I am Nezar. An employee of this Arena who does tasks suitable to my skills."

"And that skill is?"

"Multiple things. The one that is relevant here is..." He stopped talking and looked at Angela. Several moments passed before he started to fade from her view right before her eyes. Angela sighed. Of course. Soon he rematerialized, and an awkward silence followed.

"Uh...Nezar...would you...would you really not kill me?"

"I was not told to." He disappeared again, only to appear on another part of the room. That, once again, was another answer that still gave Angela a lot to worry about. In the end, talking to him really didn't ease her mind at all. It was as if she's stuck in a jail, and someone was watching all her actions 24/7. It's just so stressing. Instinctually, her hand grabbed her spear again and pushed it inside once more.

"Uh...I'm sorry but...would you mind if I continue? It's just...all of this is still stressing me, and this is the only way I have now to divert my thought from the mess I am in.

And I doubt you would agree to assist me with this."

"Do as you will it doesn't go against my orders. I will not interfere...Try not to disturb the other Fighter." His expression was as cold and flat as before as he watched Angela doing her business before him. Mauvache really had chosen someone so painfully suited for the task of watching over her.

However...fifteen minutes more, and she was nowhere close on achieving what she wanted. Her body was really sensitive all over though, and she started to eye the underwear-clad Aria more and more...no, she couldn't do that. No, no, not like that. She had to get another way...another way to spend the night...

[spoiler=Angela's decision]

There was only one option that she could immediately think of right now. She turned around towards Nezar again, and decided to ask him a question.

"Uh...pardon me if I'm asking, but are there any shady bars in this city? Like uh...something pretty disorganized, filled with rowdy thugs and lowlives in general?"

Nezar looked at the girl, expression unchanging, but he hesitated before responding. "Not on this level." He seemed to have decided that if she was up to anything he'd be there to stop it if he had to. Angela wondered whether he would stop her from doing what she's going to do, and after trying to figure out what she would say, in the end she decided that she would fully be frank with him rather that going at it in circles.

"...I guess I have no reason not to be straight with you about this. Everything, this, it's...it's really just weighing on my mind really hard. My spear here isn't good enough of a distraction. I'm just seeking an establishment where I can get a kick for the rest of he night.

Even if well, my only pair of clothing isn't really in a wearable state right now, I can use invisibility to go there. That would be the only thing Mauvache would be concerned about, right?"

At this point Angela's voice was practically begging to Nezar. A hint of emotion crosses Nezar's face, discomfort.

"I'm...not a therapist. Do as you will. Don't bring shame to Mauvache in public." He starts to fade again, then reappeared for a moment. "Clothing stores are also in the level below."

"I will keep it in mind.

...Thank you."

With Nezar's approval, Angela activated Invisible Air and darted around the city, grabbing a sheet on her way to cover herself whenever her magic's not up. Following the direction on her watch, she went to the shrine on the western part of the city. Inside was a flame that seemed to burn eternally. However, what she came there for was on the other end of the place. She took down her magic there, and asked for one of the tenders there to guide her to the teleporter. He seemed to eye her barely covered body oddly, but he didn't do anything about it and quietly got her to her destination - the low income housing area.

Ah, even in the future, such a place still lingered. This felt more like home.

In silence, she used her magic to slide around and find a bar that looked rowdy and less-maintained for her to spend the night in. After a bit of searching, she managed to find one. It was an establishment that smelled like alcohol even from meters away, and looked shoddy enough that the owner didn't even bother to give it a name other than Bar. Rowdy people being loud, drunkards going at each other, people playing a barely organized game of billiard, other people were busy with gambling, and a middle-aged barmaid that looked really disinterested at the state of the establishment. Yep, this sounded just like home alright. After giving the insides a few glances, Angela entered the bar, looking more and more flushed as she noticed that it was more crowded than she thought at first. The sheet covering her was inadequate, giving occasional glimpses of what was underneath. In silence as she turned off her Invisible Air, she tried to find a seat for herself.

Her presence was immediately noticed by some of the patrons there. One was simply looking surprised and perhaps amazed on how she appeared out of thin air, and there was another one that started to aggressively flirt with her. Angela weakly tried to sound as if she was disinterested, but gave off a few inviting winks at him that made him be even more aggressive. Another decided to just cut the chase and started to pull the sheet covering her off. Playing the act a bit, she tried to keep the sheet to herself while flusteredly attempted to look away from the man that continued to flirt at her, but that lasted for only a moment as Angela's half-hearted attempt was indeed proved to be inadequate. The sheet was pulled off from her, revealing everything underneath as Angela's face reddened. But she didn't even move a bit to hide herself. Her figure was now fully visible to everyone on the bar. The men stood agape for a few moments, gazing silently at Angela's nudity for a few long seconds before a cheer rises up amongst the most drunken of the bar, as people gather around her, enjoying the view. Angela tried her best shy and naive girl voice in the meantime as a response.

"A-ah...there...is a lot of people here today. W-what are you all looking at?"

"What d'ya think little lady?" One of the drunkards shouted. She could feel a hand was on her somewhere now, making her face even redder.

"Comin to a place like this dressed in a sheet, didn't your momma ever teach you anything?" That man then got nudged by another who was too busy laughing. "Wahahah, I bet her momma taught her all the right things!"

Angela fidgeted a bit hearing that, and then coughed a little to mask her attempt at giggling in anticipation as she could feel more and more people surrounded her.

"I...I just want to hang out here. I'm...mmh..." Her words were interrupted as she could feel someone was starting to play with her sensitive part. "W-what are you all going to do now?" A hint of invitation could be heard from her voice, slowly replacing the naive act. She was unable to think straight now.

"Oh we'll hang out all right. Don't worry little lady, we'll keep you company." As he said that, Angela was then lifted and dragged away by two men, seemingly towards a certain part of the area as the barmaid gave them all a look of disapproval of doing it on her establishment. All was going according to Angela's wishes. As she was getting dragged, she gave a smile at the ones following her.

"A-ah...I'll be delighted to be in your company all night long then. I might not be much, but...I'll be sure to keep you all satisfied~"

"Wahahah, looks like we won the jackpot tonight, boys! Now time for us to give this wench what she wanted!"

In the alley behind the bar, surrounded by the multitudes of drunkards, Angela's smile became wider and wider as they all started to have their way with her. The thought of her fear of Mauvache, her worries of being under her surveillance all the time, and how much she missed her world evaporated temporarily from her mind, being replaced with the pure feeling of pleasure. The only thing she kept in her mind now was to somehow return to her room before Aria woke up. She looked like someone that would suffer from a terrible hangover, so Angela felt that it'd be best if she's on her side at that time.

But for now, the night was still young, and there was a lot that she still needed to service. For Angela, that would be a recipe for a very long and exciting night.

~Tesability's POV~

Eyes focused on the small basketball court, Tesability began to flap her wings as she regained altitude before flying over towards it in hopes to get a better look at what was happening.

As she flew closer and closer to the game in progress, she saw the woman hop up and push the orange ball through the air to launch it towards and through the hoop far away from her. Wondering if she could make that kind of shot herself, she flew down into viewing range of all of them before asking the man that had collected the ball a question.

"Cannai givesh Ah twy?"

As Xia had gotten to the sports stadium, she was a bit in awe of it all. She listened intently as the nice person who was at the entrance of the building guided her around through the area. Xia had seen some of these sports that were presented to her on the magic moving picture box back home, but never had she seen them in person. Looking at the people partaking in these sports, Xia couldn't help but be swept in some kind of excitement, even were the match not that exciting itself. At the end of her little tour, the girl was told that she could watch these things for free, to which the girl seemed to be flabbergasted at. Furthermore, for a small fee, she was even able to play in them. A great sense of enthusiasm started to fuel the dragon girl as she wondered what she would want to try first. Curious as to what she could partake in, the dragon girl asked, "ooooooh, what kind of sports are there?!"

Her question was met with a list. A long list. So long list that midway through Xia stopped seeing or hearing words and instead just jumbles of sounds and letters. As metaphorical smoke could be seen pouring out of the girl's ears, her face having a vacant expression to it despite seemingly being enthused, she eventually stopped with the list and yelled, "I'll do this one! The Tennis one!" She didn't really know what Tennis was, other than it was likely better than Nineis, and so she had merely picked at random.

As she was given the go ahead, the girl started to walk alongside the receptionist and was lead onto a moving walkway. When the dragon-girl had first stepped onto it, she instantly jumped off, wondering what kind of strange sorcery made the ground move as such. As she continued to stare at intently, she periodically put her foot back on it, recoiling away several times until she was assured it was all normal. As the girl stepped onto the floor, she seemed very much in a state of wonder and curiosity as she was being moved by the very ground itself...or just technology. One of those two.

Tesability, 6 PM

"Cannai givesh Ah twy?"

The two currently playing basketball, a tall boy and girl, seemingly siblings, looked surprised to see the dragon. They looked towards the sidelines, where a staff member was watching, and the man stepped forward.

"Excuse me, er, flying...lizard person. This is a private match I'm not sure how you got in.." He glanced at the wings. "Right, well, you shouldn't be here."

"Hold on." The man said. "It's fine, no harm right? After all the first game is free anyway right? We'll spot the points for another. I wanna see how this...girl(?) plays."

"Fine by me." His sister said. "I'm with her though, you get a robot partner."

The staff member hesitated, before blowing out air from the corner of his mouth, and then threw up his hands. "Sure, if you're paying, I guess."

The girl went to Tesability's side and went for a high five. "Let's do this!"

[spoiler=OOC]Feel free to make up the game, Tayla, these aren't important NPCs either so just give whatever lines you want.

Xia, 6 PM

Xia would find herself in a small waiting room in the walls of the hallway between the moving walkway and the field. There was a screen showing the current on-going match but it was currently blank.

Moments after Xia entered the room, a muscular blonde man came from the other side, crying and pushing his way past her. "Too strong! How can that monster exist!"

A light would indicate for Xia to go through the far doorway, the one the man had come from, and once she entered she'd find herself on a Tennis court.

Her opponent was on the other side of the field, holding a Tennis racket. "Yo." the girl said "I'm Valerie. Guess you're the next victim eh?" She gave her racket a couple practice swings and then got into her starting stance. Suddenly Xia would feel an intense pressure as a wind kicked up around them for a few brief moments. "What are you waiting for; might as well lose quickly!" The exclamation was cocky, yet, despite the word choice, friendly. Delivered with a wild grin.

If Xia thought about it she might recognize this girl as the one who had hit Aria with a door earlier. Though Valerie didn't seem to recognize Xia.

[spoiler=OOC]Similar to Tayla, Skaia, you can make the game up. However if you want lines ask me, also reminder that Valerie is really good at this so it would at best be a close match. I don't have particular actions for her but if there's any particulars you would want ask me.

5:00PM

Points: 72

W/L Record: 0/1

Aurora took down another long swig of her drink as the girl across from her went on to answer Aurora's question.

"Yeah I'm fine. Just...taking my break, that's all...Surely you must have more interesting things to do with your time right?"

"I'm mostly just stopping here to breathe a bit after an interview. Then I'm heading back to the Arena; between fighting a dog and getting an interview, I could use a quick break when I get back myself." Something then clicked in Aurora's head. Sure, people had seen her fight with Caleb - she read the comments and everything - but that didn't mean everybody had. Besides, Aurora had only just gotten here yesterday. Every town and city had those people that were behind on all the news, right? Was this girl one of them? Aurora didn't really want to leave her feeling left out on things if she were. She'd have to clear up that comment on the Arena, then. After another quick sip of her drink - it was starting to get close to empty now - Aurora reached out with a gloved hand and a smile. "Name's Aurora by the way. I'm fighting at the Arena. How about you?"

As Xia was about to proceed into the stadium proper, a large muscular fellow had passed by her. He seemed to be crying and said something about a monster, before running further away. Xia didn't quite get what the man was going on about and simply continued her walk in. Once at the actual tennis court arena, Xia could look around and see that there were actually a fair number of people gathered and sitting across the walls of the stadium. Her face was one of both shock and wonder as she saw the large of collection of people who were all looking into the area, though was quickly pulled back and refocused onto the field itself as her apparent opponent had spoken to her. As the person introduced herself and seemed to get ready, Xia felt an odd surge of pressure, as if this girl was prepared to kill something. Not perturbed by it though, Xia simply waved and said, "hiii." As the girl taunted her, Xia then said, "I'm ready to start whenever! Let's go, woooo!"

[spoiler=Tennis Anime]

With that, the two were handed rackets, and after a coin toss, the first serve was to go to Valerie. As the girl was given the ball, her look of intensity did not let up a bit. Instead, she tossed the ball to the ground a few times before she seemed to be ready. With a deep breath and strange calm, the girl then tossed the ball into the air. With a graceful form, she jumped after the ball and with a powerful swing struck the ball as it came down on its descent. With its course true, the ball went straight to the ground and with it, the referee then blew his whistle calling, "15, Love."

While the dragon girl was likely wouldn't have hit it anyway, there was something strange about her. She merely stood in the same spot, her eyes only trailing after the ball but not having her body actually move towards it. Furthermore, despite losing the point, she didn't seem at all upset. Xia's opponent seemed to be a tad upset by this as she said, "Heeello, Rama-Indri to blue girl, come in blue girl. I know I'm good but we only just got started here don't quit on me now."

Xia wasn't quite sure what the girl was talking about, nor was she quite what was going on. As such, she was only left with a confused expression on her face as she let out an audible, "huh?"

"Are you going to play or not?"

The half-dragons expression brightened as she nodded saying, "sure! But uh, um, how do you play?"

Valerie seemed to be somewhat exasperated by this as she said, "Oh by Martel she is clueless...wait. You're not from here, are you?"

Without changing her expression, the girl shook her head saying, "not at all!"

"Alllright then, hey, ref, private mode for a few minutes." As she said this, a shimmering cover had appeared over the field, blocking out all outside view from the spectators. Valerie had then walked over to Xia, showing her her watch, albeit it appeared a bit bulkier than Xia's. "Give me your number so I can send you the rules; it'll be faster that way."

"Oh, okay!" As Xia said this, there was a bit of a pause, before the dragon girl said, "how do I do that?" One, likely irritated, explanation later the girl had the rules to the game she was playing on her watch. As she sped read through them all, she seemed to have go from confused, to intrigued, to cheerful, back to confused until she had finally nodded in understanding. "Thanks nice tennis lady!"

"I'm Valerie, don't forget it, it's the most important name you'll need to know here." The girl said with a thumbs up and grin. "Now..." As the covers that block them off had vanished, Xia could feel the same intense pressure from before . "Let's get started." With that, the roars of the cheering crowd could be heard once again as the game picked up speed. Returning to the same form she had prior, Valerie threw the ball in the air once more as she jumped after it, smashing it on its descent. This time, as the ball was hit, Xia took off after where she thought it was going to be and as she swung at it, she merely hit empty air. She had ended up running too far forward, missing the ball completely.

"30, Love."

Her form unbroken, Valerie preformed the same serve once more. As Xia went to go intercept it, she ran over to where she had been before and stopped, then back pedaling so as not to be too close this time. Of course, this conscious action had caused her to completely miss any chance of receiving. "40, Love." As the ref said this, Xia tried to get her game face on. She wasn't really sure why the numbers were so weird, but she knew that if she missed the next one she'd lose the game. As such, she tried to think carefully about how to receive the girl's serve when the time came again. Getting prepped to run, this serve seemed much less graceful, as the girl hit it with much less force and less air. Being slightly confused by the serve, Xia hadn't adjusted to it as the ball ended up being much closer to the net then the last three. "Game, Valerie. 1-0" With that, the referee had called the score.

A bit disappointed in herself, Xia pumped herself up for the next round as it was to be her serve. Trying to think about how to do it, Xia figured that tennis lady Valerie was probably much better at this then she, and trying to copy her would be the best of ideas to get this done. As such, the girl tossed the ball into the air and had attempted to jump after it. As the ball begun to come down, the girl had taken a swing at it, striking nothing but air. Having moved forward, the ball landed quite behind the dragon girl causing the referee to merely say. "Fault." Wondering what was going on, the girl looked at the ball quizzically. She didn't know how she failed the serve, but if one didn't succeed at first go, the only thing to do was keep trying until it worked. As such, she tossed the ball up again and when she went to hit it her swing was too early, and the ball simply landed on her head, bouncing off. "Double Fault. 15, Love." Xia's expression seemed a tad defeated, before she attempted pumping herself up again and wondering how it was she was going to hit the ball. As such, she continued to serve, trying many different things. One with jumps. One without. One using the racket underhand. One trying to hit it with a cut. "Game, Valerie. 2 - 0." Despite her best efforts, the girl hadn't managed to hit a single serve.

The crowd, meanwhile, was having a laughing fit at the display. They were entirely too amused with the girl's antics an inability to hit the ball, with some even throwing jeers of their own into the mix. One such one that could be heard was, "man can you believe this? I guess the Queen's standards are really slipping." While the crowd seemed to having a grand old time, Valerie herself seemed to be puzzled. While the pressure from her hadn't let up that much, it was evident that she was in disbelief that someone could be as bad as Xia was. Nevertheless, when her next set came around, she merely served with the same consistency as she had in the first round. Xia had gone after the ball as best she could, and was getting closer to actually returning it then in the first round, but each time she had missed and each time she had been with a similarly jeering laugh. With each serve being a service ace, the referee eventually called, "game. Valerie. 3 -0."

With that, it had become Xia's serve once more. While Xia was definitely a peppy spirit, even she was starting to feel a bit disheartened and uncomfortable at the situation. While normally she was fine with people laughing at her expense this felt somewhat...different, and it didn't do her mood much good. However, she had started the match and wasn't willing to give up. After all, giving up only made people more upset, generally, and being more upset would not do. And so, taking a deep breath, the girl went to serve the ball. Tossing it into the air, she jumped after it again, swinging but not connecting with anything. The ref simply said, "fault," as the game seemed to be going at the same pace it had been her last serve, with the crowd becoming both more amused and bored at the prospect. While Xia wasn't sure what she was doing wrong here, she started to think on it a bit. As the gears started to turn, the girl simply nodded to herself. Clutching the ball tightly, the girl tossed it into the air, much higher then before, and jumped right for it. It was then that the audience was silenced, as one large cracking noise could be heard throughout the stadium, as Xia's racket had connected with the ball. With unimaginable speed and power, the ball launched from where her racket was and struck dead center into her opponent's box, before exploding from the sheer impact of it. There was a silence, as everyone seemed to be a bit shocked, before the referee called, "15, Love."

While she had started to move after it, the suddenness of the serve had caught Valerie off guard. As such, she wasn't able to make it in time, simply staring at the broken ball in mild shock. As one more moment had passed a sound escaped from her. "Ha." It was then followed with a much louder and far more jovial, "hahahahahaha!" The girl was beside herself with laughter, bending down and supporting herself with her hands pushing against her knees. Xia was a bit confused as to what her opponent found so funny, and cocked he head in wonder. As the girl finished her laughing fit, she looked up with a newfound fire in her eyes as she said, "That's more like it! Ref, another ball!" With that, the pressure had felt as intense as it had at the start of the match. Her eyes lighting up, Xia's face absolutely brightened as her opponent seemed excited to continue. With that, the dragon girl was given another ball to serve.

Repeating the same thing she had done last time, the girl smashed the ball equally as hard as before, hitting to the exact same place as before. Being on guard this time, Valerie had managed to intercept the ball in time. However, due to the raw force behind it, her grip fumbled and her arm buckled a bit as the ball hit the racket, causing it to simply bounce out of bounds. "30, Love." The crowd seemed to be far more invested in the match now, as the dragon girl was actually managing to hit the ball. After a few good practice swings of her racket, Valerie had seemed to be ready for the next serve, and thus Xia brought it. A serve entirely the same as the last, Valerie had not only caught up to the ball in time, but with great force of her own, managed to return the ball. Absolutely baffled by this, Xia's run to the ball was clumsy as her face was one of sheer surprise. "15, 30." Xia looked to the girl, victory evident in her opponent's eyes, but attempted the same thing again. She served twice more in the exact same way, and each time it was returned in an entirely similar fashion. Tossing the ball into the air the final time, the girl let loose one big serve. This time, trying to hit at a different point of her jump, when the racket and ball collided, the ball merely flew way out of bounds. "Game. Valerie, 4 - 0."

Getting into the feeling of the game, Valerie begun her serves with a vigor that hadn't been present in her previous serves. Hit sharper, more controlled in precision and with greater speed, Xia was having a hard time keeping up with the ball at all. As such, Valerie's first serve had been a service ace without a hitch. However, as the serves kept coming, Xia had eventually managed to catch up with them, and aligning her racket with the ball, she struck as hard as she could to return it. While the return might've shocked some of the audience, unfortunately, it was hit as hard as Xia could. As such, rather than having any descent towards the court, it merely flew in a horizontal line across the field. "Game. Valerie, 5 - 0."  With that, the serve went back to Xia and as such, the rest of the match was already decided. As any serve different then the one she had successfully pulled off earlier merely flew out of bounds, Valerie had been able to easily return any serve that would have been in. As such, with the final serve being returned, the referee said, "6 - 0. Match, Valerie."

With the game finished, Valerie seemed to be in a good mood, as she called out to her opponent. "You uh, you kind of sucked, but you fought hard, you got spirit whoever you are that's for sure." The girl then shifted her attention to the audience as she addressed them. "That's last one for me today guys pack up and head out if you're waiting for more." With what was likely disappointing news to the crowd, they started to disperse out of the area.

Xia stood there, a bit dumbfounded. It was certainly not fun to lose, especially as terribly as she had. However, there was something exciting and exhilarating about the game, especially the smashing part. As such, the girl had decided that this was quite the fun game to play. However, as her opponent addressed her, she took a moment to respond, trying to figure out whether or not she was being complimented or insulted, but eventually her expression brightened. "Ah thanks Valerie! Oh, right! I'm Xia, it's nice to meet you." The half-dragon then made her way over to her opponent and offered her hand to shake, before asking "oh and uh, would you want to play again some time? You were like suuuper good and this is a really fun game."

Valerie had gripped onto Xia's hand, pulling her in closer and then patting her on the back with her free hand. "Yeah sure, get better first though, next time I want a real fight."

The girl nodded excitedly, saying, "sure! Next time I'll get real good and then we'll have even more fun!" With that done she then said, "well then, I guess I better be going, nice meeting you Valerie." With that, Xia had started to walk away from the tennis field.

Valerie had reciprocated the farewell, as she said, "see you around Miss Hammer Arm, I..." The girl glanced around the arena, scanning the empty bleachers before putting her hand on Xia's shoulder. "Aaactually how about we head out together, eh? Since we became buddies and all."

Xia's face had gone from cheery to one of pure joy as she nodded vigorously saying "that would be great! Oh I'd love to do that! Ooooh!" She was overwhelmed by the whole thing, having made another friend today. And one that was like, super good a game that was also super fun. This had to be the best thing in her life so far. While she was shaking from excitement, she realized the girl was still there and thus tried to forcibly calm herself to keep speaking. "So uh, um, where do you want to go then?"

"Not here." Valerie said, starting to move a bit hurriedly. "Somewhere public probably."

"Oh sure sure." Xia nodded, not really knowing what she was talking about. "Let's get going then!"

(Bleugh, I can see how I made that scramble... I saw mention of a basketball court, but my eyes didn't register the mention of a tennis game immediately afterwards. Oh, well.)

~Tesability's POV~

The two currently playing basketball, a tall boy and girl, seemingly siblings, looked surprised to see the dragon. They looked towards the sidelines, where a staff member was watching, and the man stepped forward.

"Excuse me, er, flying...lizard person." Tesability tilted her head at being called such. "This is a private match I'm not sure how you got in." He glanced at the wings. "Right, well, you shouldn't be here."

"Hold on." The man said. "It's fine, no harm right? After all the first game is free anyway right? We'll spot the points for another. I wanna see how this...girl(?) plays."

"Ai ish ah giwl," she confirmed.

"Fine by me," His sister said. "I'm with her though, you get a robot partner."

The staff member hesitated, before blowing out air from the corner of his mouth, and then threw up his hands. "Sure, if you're paying, I guess."

The girl went to Tesability's side and went for a high five. "Let's do this!" Tesability lifted a paw in time to recieve the high five before raising a paw to her muzzle in thought.

"Um, wha' ish dish gaim an' haw pway?"

The siblings looked towards each other, the male between the two smirking in self-confidence, before she raised a paw to stop any words that would come from them. "Wai' aidia."

The dragon was looking at the robot that had been brought in for play. Wings outstretched, Tesability's entire appearance faded between solid and semi-transparent, normal and being comprised of nothing but the tiniest of 1s and 0s changing at rapid pace. Like a mist, she soon floated into the robot, aiming for its knowledge banks.

[spoiler=Within the Robot]"Now, lemme sees..."

She was among a small room this time, a single wall filled with drawers that had shelved folders and files in it. Unlike the last time she hopped into something, this place was small enough to not have some sort of place to copy and absorb data from. A groan escaped her muzzle that went unheard outside of the machine, before she flew up towards the top upperleft-most drawer and opened the first folder to start reading the files in it.

It would take a while for her to read through all this manually...

After only two seconds in real time, Tesability reemerged, leaving the robot as a single strand of mist that began to reform in the same spot that she left from, folding in her wings as soon as she was fully materialized. "Ai donesh."

"...what...was that," the male between them barely managed to ask.

"Um, Ai can hopsh eentu mahsheens," she simply said, not understanding that not many would not know exactly what she did.

"Did you change the robot," he stated almost accusingly before shouting out, "can I get a different robot for a partner? This one may be messed with!"

"Would you stop being so paranoid," the girl said, giving him a light shove on the shoulder before looking towards Tesability. "So, what did you do?"

"Ai lewn haw tu pway," she responded, an innocent smile on her muzzle.

There was a look of shock on both of the siblings on this statement.

"Wait, huh? That fast?"

The male looked at his sister and had a confused look on his face. "Now that I think on it, Sara, doesn't she look like someone from one of the Arena matches?"

The sister, Sara, just started laughing at this as she pulled out her phone before looking through the past matches. "There's no way we get...that...kind of..." Sara slowed then stopped mid-sentence as she looked at her phone, which pulled up a shot of a small black figure with wings among a desert scene. "No..." Sara's eyes went quickly between Tesability and her phone. "Way..."

Sara moved her phone to in front of her brother, showing him what was on the screen. "You were right, Marco."

The brother, Marco, looked at the picture, then looked at her. "You're THE Lightning Cyber Dragon?!"

"Ai ish ah NetMonshtew," Tesability corrected immediately. "Ah Thundew Dwagin NetMonshtew."

This caused an arguement to spawn between Sara and Marco between whom gets her as their partner, which caused Tesability to look between the robot partner and the attendant that was giving her quite the glare and give them both a sheepish look while rubbing the back of her small neck with a paw. "Showwiesh..."

It wasn't until 6:30pm that they finally played, and it wasn't until roughly 7pm that the game ended, favoring the girl and the NetMonster over the boy and the robot.
