Fire Emblem Heroes

Got 1738 points for my first TT run, hoping to at least match it on the 2nd. These x3 multipliers rock, and I only have a 20% bonus hero.

EDIT: Also, having a +Atk Reinhardt to blast through stuff is really nice. And the rewards past 50k have been changed to happen more frequently so you get more stuff.

I transfered a Bonfire from 4* Robin to my 5* Sharena. Is that good?

Questioning whether a skill is good after transferring it, is a tad pointless; you cannot change it anymore. Given Bonfire is a 3 charge special, it is somewhat likely to trigger during arena matches. By default she deals about as much damage with the other specials with the same cool-down: Bonfire deals 14, Dragonic Aura deals 14, Iceberg deals 11, Luna varies, Glimmer and Vengeance are bad (in my opinion). So I'd say it is a decent special for her. Another point is that a bad special is still better than no special (though some might screw up some match-ups due to Vantage and alike).

The current Tempest Trials are quite doable if you ask me, even if you don't include a bonus unit with their buffs. My team consists out of Ephraim (+def, -hp), Klein (+atk, -res), Tharja (+speed, -hp) and Fae (+res, -def). While it doesn't include a bonus unit, they do manage to get to the last fight consistently and even beat it. Klein and Tharja deal with most enemies, Fae is there to bait blue units and some green mages, and Ephraim supports the team with his buffs, reposition and great physical bulk. Attempts including Genny (+atk, -speed) or Berkut did not go all that well though. Thanks to the multiplier for the first two matches each day, a bonus unit doesn't seem all that relevant.

OH MY GOD I MUST HAVE AMELIA

She was my favorite Trainee in SS and she was an incredible General, so I'm glad that she's an armored unit here. Her C skill is awesome, her art/voice is perfect (she even has the sweet ass General chain), and I'm hoping that her doubling in the video means she'll be a speedy armor unit like Draug. She should actually be a pretty insane unit, too, assuming she'll have the extra stats from being a Villager/Trainee unit thrown on top of her already high armor BST.

EDIT: I swear if she is speedy...

The grand hero battle against Legion is back. Thanks to the quests you can get a fourth copy, ao you can make a team completely consisting of Legions.

Ooh, new Sacred Stones characters. In Sacred Stones Amelia starts out with a lance, and only gains access to axes on her final promotion; so I expected her to use a lance instead. Wouldn't be surprised if her stat total was higher than the other armoured units, making her the unit with the highest stat total so far. That C-skill could help with one of the greatest weaknesses of armored units: their movement range. Now all we need is a magical armored unit (or an inheritable Levin sword or something alike).

Innes has an -owl tome in bow form. Far from the original effect the bow had, but this game doesn't have a luck stat and the other sacred twins weren't an accurate adaption either. His 'unique' A-skill doesn't seem all that great and Mathilda already had cancel affinity; unless he has a great spread he seems somewhat lackluster.

Vidofnir's effect is quite accurate when compared to the other weapons from Sacred Stones. Her C-skill seems interesting, effectively letting infantry/armored units move 4 spaces from where they are (if I'm interpreting it correctly).

As a sword user Seth has a lot of competition for a team slot. Unlike most of them, he doesn't come with a legendary weapon; putting him somewhat behind them. A good stat spread might give him a niche.

Based solely on the skills and background, Amelia seems to be the best newly introduced unit, followed by Tana, then Innes and lastly Seth. Given each focus unit has their own color, you can atarget specifc orbs making it more lilely to summon a specific one. Seth will probably be demoted after the banner ends, making red not as appealing; not sure about the other units.

Well finally we get Sacred Stones characters. It does tie in with Valter GHB. Though we now have Frelia's royals, I'd like to see the others. How about:

  • Smooth Prince Joshua
  • Vengeful Rider Cormag
  • Dragon Child Myrr
  • Justice Healer L'Arachel

And we can have Lyon as a Grand Hero Battle.

Plus, Melissa Fahn as Tana, that makes three of the four goddesses of Gamindustri. All we need is Tara Platt. I think she can come in as... Miriel.

Also, Amelia is my second favorite character, next to Eirika cause Kira Buckland voices her. I especially like the Support between her and General Dussell.

Also I managed to get Ike on my third Hero Fest try. Now I can DOMINATE!

YEEEEEES, AMELIA! Agreed, Shradow, she was the best trainee, and I'm so happy to see that she has General armor.

I love Seth, and especially his relationship with Eirika. I can't wait to reunite them.

And yes, Astro, please give us Cormag and L'Arachel.

I'm really happy with this. Give me Seth so I can have him and Eirika fight Valter.

The titles of most Sacred Stones characters so far seem to be based on their title in the ending of Sacred Stones, with a slight alteration here and there. Tana was "Flying queen" in Sacred Stones' ending and became "Flying princess" in Heroes, Innes had the title of "King and tactician" which they changed to "Regal tactician", Amelia is refered to as "Rose of the war" in both instalments, Seth's title was "The silver knight" which remained mostly unchanged.

Based on this information I'd expect "Tempest prince" for Joshua (was "The tempest king"), which could tie in nicely with a Tempest Trials arc. L'Arachel would probably become "Princess of Light" (instead of "Queen of Light"). Myrrh can keep her title of "The great dragon".

In the regards to grand hero battles, we also need "The Fluorspar: Selena"; she is a mounted unit after all. She could be a red tome user (given she had "Elfire"), or blue tome user (due to "Bolting")… but we already have enough mounted blue mages (Ursula, Reinhardt and Olwen) and only one red tome user.

They aren't making it easy to decide which banner to summon from. All summer units (besides Leo) are great themselves, or have wonderful skills. The hero fest has a bigger chance to summon a 5 atar (still looking for Ike and Julia). And now Sacred Stones…

I was gonna say we never got to battle with Selena, but Ephiram's route proved us wrong. And those are pretty good titles. And I agree. Spent 60 orbs on Hero Fest but it was worth it cause I got Ike. When will Elise be a 4* Unit?

After about 90 orbs I got a +Def -HP Amelia, hell yes. She's my new favorite unit, I'm so happy. Though I won't be training her until this weekend for the x2 SP so I'm gonna have to hold off for a bit.

I actually had to get some more orbs from doing Chain Challenge stuff since this made me remember I've done almost none of that. So I still have abunch of free orbs and feathers waiting in the wings for me. Also, there seems to be a big bug with the new Chain Challenge 9 & 10, so we might be getting compensation orbs once it's fixed: https://imgur.com/a/tz1GQ

And I kinda want to pull for Tana as well. She's got incredible stats along with her prf weapon, and the Guidance skill is incredible (only can be SId to fliers, btw).
