Astro, this is honestly a little annoying. We really don't need every other post in this thread to be a long list of speculation and charting out rosters. If you'd love to see how this game can handle them, why not just wait and see for yourself?

 

And yeah, Dancer is traditionally a female class, except part of Inigo's character is that he practices dancing so he can follow in his mom's footsteps. Fans honestly have wanted Inigo as a Dancer. Not a Bard, a Dancer. So it's great to see him finally get a proper Dancer outfit. Shigure isn't a Kinshi Knight because… honestly, just look at who the characters are. Olivia and Azura are the main Dancers of their respective games, and Inigo and Shigure respectively are their sons. It's two mother and son combinations, all of whom have a reason to be Dancers, rather than just getting four random Dancers from all over the series. Azura/Laslow is also a popular ship in Fates (Which further connects all of these characters) because of their respective backgrounds involving dances, and it's especially ironic if Soleil is their daughter, because Azura is a Songstress, yet Soleil is the worst singer in the game.

 

My only disappointment here is that they didn't use this as an opportunity to introduce Soleil in the game. Except I'd rather them not do what they did with Charlotte, where they introduced her in a special outfit from an event before adding her typical appearance to the game. I'd rather have Soleil introduced as a Mercenary, so at least we have two different versions of her father and her grandmother first.

 

Fates also went out of its way to make every class unisex. The only reason Shigure can be a Kinshi Knight in Fates is because they extended the Sky Knight class to males. If a male from Fates can have a traditionally female-exclusive class, then Inigo as a Dancer makes all kinds of sense.

Okay, Okay, I surrender.

 

Maybe we'll get a dancer/singer/bard/etc. banner that's not seasonal and then they can add characters like Tethys and Nils.

Thanks. When I made the post, I forgot about Elffin and Lalum. Guess I should be grateful we are getting new units, even though they are reskins. I don't have Azura, maybe I'll get lucky and get both the regular one and the reskin one.

 

Though I agree with Phantom Roxas on one thing, they need to introduce characters in their original attire. They made the mistake of introducing Bride Charlotte without introducing regular Charlotte first. And we all know what  memes spawned from Bride Charlotte just because her artist was the same one that worked on Lloyd's art.

 

As for personal status I screwed up a bit. I spent 22 orbs trying to get Nephenee, but all I got were two 3* Oboro's, a Jakob, a Wendy and an Est, the latter being 4*.

 

I'll try the Tempest Trials for more orbs, and feathers. Oh, I forgot to mention, I rarity upped the Beruka I got from the seals quests and transferred her Lunge, Star Light and Glimmer skills to my Gunter. I also wanted to save space so I upped my Wendy. I wonder of Wendy's A skill is transferable? If so I wasted  two 4* Wendy's just to cheapen the one I upped. And the story will give us more orbs and since October's coming, a chance to get a Light's Blessing.

 

also kinda been doing some math: I always go for lv 30 which, if done quickly, will result in me getting 441 points, multiplied by 5 is 2205. I shall go through 40 of my stam potions just to get the 99,999 point prize.

 

Never mind. I looked up Svalinn Shield. Only transferable to armor units, and it's not that good a skill to begin with.

At least with Tethys and Nils, they are a Dancer and Bard respectively, so those are good options for introducing characters without having to have seasonal variants. This banner seems mostly for introducing Azura in her Nohrian dress, and then adding other characters who would fit in with that theme to pad out a banner. Shigure's outfit is a Nohrian color scheme for this banner, and… well, Laslow is inherently Nohrian, but it's hard to have just regular Inigo, because that would be a step down from Laslow (To accommodate his character's history), but a Dancer Inigo is both different enough while also fitting the theme. And hey, if they have all these Dancers, why not go all the way with Olivia? It's a little funny in Olivia's case, because it somewhat seems like she has Nohrian to fit in with her son… as well as her potential daughter-in-law and grandson.

Yeah, Erin Fitzgerald no longer voices Noire from Neptunia anymore. Kind of a similar situation. The strike was why Alexis Tipton took on Palla in SoV, along with Spring and Brave Lucina. That strike is also why Wendee Lee wasn't Credited as Brave Lyn, even though she did the role. I can sympathize, though Liam does rock as Infinity in Sonic Forces, Maybe he'll come back as Inigo Classic, who knows. I'm glad the strike ended.

 

As for the theme, if King Garon shows up, rest assured he'll be on a killing spree, in fact, that could be the next Grand Hero Battle.

 

If the theme was dancers, Azura, Shigure, Olivia and Inigo were good choices. And aside from Inigo, I'm glad the other three va's Matt, Karen and Rena reprised their respective roles.

 

Makes you wonder what FE Heroes has planned for Halloween. My guess, something to do with Henry, Jaffar, Camilla and Tharja.

The strike certainly seems to be responsible for a lot of voice actor shuffling.

 

I wonder, would they have Inigo in his classic appearance? Inigo, Severa, and Owain are admittedly rather unusual characters, which is why I'm a bit reluctant. I mean, we got Laslow, Selena, and Odin first. Usually with characters who appear in multiple games, we get their debut appearance, and if we do see a separate unit based on how they appeared in a sequel, that's released later. Or at least there are enough distinctions, but ultimately the idea is that, if they appeared in a sequel, then the "sequel version" of a unit is stronger. So if they were to introduce Inigo, Severa, and Owain in their traditional Awakening designs, I'd expect them to be weaker than their Fates' appearances. I don't know, maybe that's just me. It just seems odd to add their Awakening selves in, because I don't see why they would be better than their Fates' appearances. Maybe for Owain, since he'd be a Myrmidon rather than Odin being a Dark Mage, but Severa and Inigo would probably just be more Mercenaries. Unless they're brought in as Heroes? I don't know, it's odd.

 

I'm not sure if Garon would show up here, but I could see him as a Grand Hero Battle to go along with the festival.

 

Someone datamined and found out that Tharja will be in the Christmas event, so I'm not sure if she'd be in the Halloween event as well. That seems too close to have her in two different events. I could see them using the others, though. I think the best opportunity would be to use the Nohrian Festival of Bonds as a basis for a Halloween event. Granted, I think we've already had enough from Camilla and especially Xander, so they could base the banner off of Subaki, Oboro, Setsuna, and Leo.

Both Tharja and Male Robin will have Christmas versions, they were found before the game even launched which led us to believe the game was meant to come out earlier than February.

Tharja and M!Robin were confirmed for Christmas basically at launch. Game was seemingly meant to launch earlier, but SMR stool precedent.

 

GHB for October is 99% chance of being Arvis, per Favaro's leak, and a Sigurd and friends banner around that time.

If the stats seem bad, it's because except for Azura having only the dancer BST penalty, they have the BST penalties for being both a dancer and ranged unit.

Only Shigure seems to be bad as a unit because of his spread not giving him enough speed to prevent doubles coupled with terrible defenses and he's competing with Ninian and Azura already atm.

 

Olivia is pretty solid and she can even serve as an emergency magic tank pretty well while can also heal up to 17 damage AOE every time she attacks/get attacked. Inigo can run Gronnraven TA to funk Rein and Lyn (if he run bowbreaker) or he can run Escape Route to be the best dancer in the game.

 

And Azura is Azura now with even better offensive stats and a legendary weapon.

Yeah I'm gonna snipe green for Inigo/Azura first and then whatever I have left can go to colorless hell and Olivia and hopefully not being pity broken by like Jakob or one of the 5* healers...

Was hoping to get some green stones so I could summon Inigo or Azura, but I mostly got red stones; not particularly useful on this banner. That isn't to say I did not get some great gems.

 

I managed to get a Shigure (+defense, -resistance) from the blue stones. His IVs aren't ideal, but given he is a singer/ supporter it should not matter all that much. Also got a 4 star Felicia which served to give him "Breath of Life".

 

After summoning Shigure, I also summoned from the red stones (pity would reset anyway), which gave me a Hinata and Lucina (+hp, -attack).

 

Also, as expected Oscar is the only member that has been demoted, this new banner has already given me 2 of him. He comes with Lancebreaker at 4 stars, so you don't have to use Narcian for that anymore.

That's actually really fantastic, I haven't been able to give anyone Lancebreaker yet that I've wanted to. Plus he's got Rally Spd/Def. Blue got another good SI fodder.

The results of my first summon were a 3 star Eliwood which I sent home, a 4 star Florina whose Darting Blow skill I transferred to my 4 star Oboro, a 4 star Female Corrin which I used to bump up my first four star Corrin, who now has a feather cost of 18,800, and not one, but TWO 4 STAR KAGERO's. My first one has neutral IV's, nothing special. The second one has -HP and +Res, making her even more of a glass cannon, So I'll stick with the Neutral Stats one. With Kagero, I now have all the retainers from Fates. Time to get to work on more orbs.

 

Wouldn't... oh wait, we don't have enough dancers for a Dancer based Voting Gauntlet, do we?

 

Also, it's geart we're getting more Genealogy of the Holy War characters. We already have Seliph and Julia, maybe we'll get some Generation 1 characters from that game, meaning, maybe we'll get Seliph and Julias parents, whomever they may be.

Takumi's with Close Counter, Brave Lyn's with close defense, Kagero can one shot us and Hector, don't get me started on Hector. The very second you see a player with a BD Azura on their team in an Arena battle, utilize the coward's approach and surrender. The same goes for arena assault if you come across a BD Azura team seven times in a row. Guys, we may have our first arena banned hero. 

 

I can just imagine a more cruel Azura looking down on us as punishment for looking down on her.

Except we already had Eirika and Ephraim who could raise all 4 stats as well... Azura's not that groundbreaking or even that threatening when you've got horse teams running around spreading buffs like nobody's business l m a o

Azura isn't that threatening because she only raises stats on the second attack of your dance target (needing to use Dance first to trigger the buffs).

 

She's actually kinda bad for bladetome users since that first KO is way too important for them.
