As a flier she doesn't have access to Stready Breath so she can't use the dragon favorite Lighting Breath + Steady Breath combo. There's a few others including Wrath and Bowbreaker as well. It is cool that we get another (possibly better) red cavalry mage though. Myrrh being a fire breathing dragon had me hoping she would be a red dragon unit. But since she can fly, she also has ties to the wind element (green). So it isn't that surprising. The green slot on my flier team is quite contested (Azura, Camilla, Cherche and Minerva), unlike the red slot (Palla). Regardless, I'm happy we are getting more units from Sacred Stones. She has 39 Def if you run her with her default Fury, so anyone with Def at 34 or lower can't double her. +Def -Spd is absolutely ideal on her. She's got the powercreep boosted BST on top of having the Trainee bonus, so she's only 1 point behind Hector. With access to both dragon and flier buffs, she's a beast. Slap the Iote's Shield seal on her and not even bows can touch her (note that it only negates flying weakness, not dragon weakness such as Falchion). I'm glad Lyon doesn't invalidate the Sophia I've put so much work into. Lyon doesn't have access to IVs, but Sophia is best with +Atk -Spd and so comparing them: Lyon - 41/34/21/26/30Sophia - 40/36/16/28/29 Lyon ends up with +1 HP, +1 Atk (since Naglfar has +3 MT over Rauðrraven+, otherwise he's -2 Atk), +5 Spd, -2 Def, +1 Res. He has a higher BST but it's almost all wasted on Spd which is irrelevant since it still only brings him up to 21. And unlike Sophia, Lyon doesn't have access to full merges. Myrrh (neutral) also decided to join the party. So I'd say I'm done summoning on this banner. On another note, Sothe got demoted to 4 star (based on banner details; didn't summon him). I already read some comments about players being puzzled by the decision.I spent most of the orbs I had for a Radiant Dawn character with no luck, and I'm not oo interested in any of these character from the banner, so I will just start to store up orbs for upcoming events. Though I have seen an explanation for it, which did not initially think of. In Sacred stones there was a glitch where you could take control of the enemies. Since they wouldn't normally make use of the convoy, they didn't disable that feature. As such, the enemies could hand their weapons over to your team. Most of those weapons are usable by anyone, one of which increased the proficiency wih dark magic. As such anyone could become a dark mage, and thus wield Grado's sacred tome. Other than that, Eirika and Ephraim studied various subjects in Grado. Maybe Eirika studied some magic there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darj Posted January 25, 2018 Report Share Posted January 25, 2018 Yeah, I stumbled upon that glitch in the Reddit site, where I also found that in the official Twitter it was stated Eirika learned the dark magic from Lyon. While that explains the dark mage Eirika, it doesn't really explain why they chose to make her in the first place. About 45 orbs later I finally got a Myrrh but she's +Spd -Atk, rip. Next summon is another Myrrh and she's +Res -Atk, which still isn't ideal but not nearly as bad. So I decide that my main goal for this banner is Myrrh, since she seems to be the best unit out of the bunch. So I use my free summon and pick the first green orb I see and get Myrrh! I got Eirika which is nice, but when I tried going for Myrth again, I tried to pull a different color to boost the Pity rate and got Pity broken by Lilina. Hector can get Maltet and become a Lance Armor.Ephraim can get Garm (to match Eirika) and become an Axe Horse.Celica can get the Royal Zofie and become a sword InfantryCamilla can get a staff and become a healer flier...?
