Funny. Mostly been testing against bads, but having consistent tribute fodder in the forms of squires and Prime REALLY helps the deck get on its feet for early t1 plays. Initially I was thinking of running Monarchs Erupt for Skill Drain Shenans, but space ruined that dream, so debating putting an extra back in. Still, Master Peace is utterly bonkers, and wins basically every game he enters because the opponent can't kill it for one reason or another (mostly related to Apocalypse, but that's another story). Being able to use your set cards early is a huge boost (either by Diagram or just literally tribute summoning) and helps out problem cards quickly. Deck is kinda dumb but also pretty fun.

You should probably max out on Dinomite Knuckle; he's more important when it comes to searching the Traps, which can tribute summon your True Dracos and Master Peace during their turn while eliminating a monster. In fact, I think the Revival Trap is more useful than the Apocalypse, because popping your Dracos as cost to lower ATK is not worth it when you can remove threats by tributing their monsters/popping with Traps or Master. Even though Revival isn't too synergetic reviving the Dracos, I would rather regenerate field presence than remove it.

Can't get more than 3 bruv

but point on the trap, especially since it sets up Master Piece on its own. I'll flipflop the ratios.

Ah I feel so dumb not seeing that extra Dinomite... -.-

How good have the Monarch S/Ts been? Must suck if you open those and not a lot of other synergetic options. March seems a bit redundant with Master Piece and the rest of the Dracos are sorta expendable. I also recommend fitting in Pot of Duality somewhere as well.

I ran March in a previous build of True Dracos and liked it a lot. It's a very flexible card, since it IS a monarch s/t for pantheism/Prime, as well as a continuous for tributing and providing protection to smol dracos. While they are somewhat expendable, being untargetable and indestructable untill TT happens isn't a bad thing.

  • 3 weeks later...

I really want to put 1~2 Mariamune and the 3rd Terraforming in there. Maybe cut down the Escalations? The Apocalypses and Revivals kinda do its job already, and your are not running Tenacity to grab it anyway; although it does feed Pantheism and Prime Monarch.

EDIT:

Oh, and if you have no Extra Deck, have you given a try to Domain of Monarchs?
