Spell-Disciple Arcane Delver

Level 4

This card is also Warrior-Type (anywhere). This effect cannot be negated. You can only use each effect of "Spell-Disciple Arcane Delver" once per turn. You can banish 1 "Spell-Disciple" monster with a different name from your hand or graveyard, then send the top card of your deck to the graveyard and if its a spell/trap card, banish 1 normal/quick play spell card or 1 normal trap card from your graveyard; activate the effect of the Spell/Trap Card you banished as this card's effect (If that card is not a normal spell card, its activation timing must be correct). When this face-up card leaves the field by an opponent's card: special summon 1 level 4 DARK Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand or deck.

 

Rulings notes for spell/trap copying:

- The effect that you copy is treated as the monster effect of Arcane Delver/Varia Girl, not a spell/trap effect. Thus copying a trap card will affect Elemental HERO WIldheart.

- Because the card being copied is known during the chain, one can respond with cards like Starlight Road if their conditions and timing are correct for the copied effect.

- Spells copied this way resolve regardless of activation conditions and you don't pay their costs, but you must still be able to legally resolve the effect eg, you can't copy twin-twisters when there no spell/trap cards on the field.

- Traps however need correct conditions and timing. Any trap that must activate in response to a summon or activation can't be copied this way, since Arcane Delver and Vaira Girl's copying effects are spell speed 1.

- In both cases, the effect targets any cards that the copied card would normally target. eg one card on the field for rageki break, and no targets for dark hole.

- You can copy "Rank-Up-Magic the Seventh One" as many times as you want, and this does not void your ability to activate another copy normally if you draw one later.

Spell-Disciple Varia Girl

LIGHT and DARK

(This card is both LIGHT and DARK) You can only use the effect of "Spell-Disciple Varia Girl" once per turn. You can banish 1 "Spell-Disciple" monster from your hand, and 1 normal spell, quick-play spell, or normal trap card from your graveyard (If you don't banish a normal spell card, the spell/trap's activation timing and conditions must be valid); this effect will be the same as that spell/trap card's effect.

 

 

Spell-Disciple Gravity Sorcerer

Level 4

DARK

Spellcaster/Effect

1500/2100

When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If another face-up DARK Spellcaster-Type monster(s) you control leaves the field: you can special summon 1 of those monsters;  You can only use this effect of "Spell-Disciple Gravity Sorcerer" once per turn.

 

Spell-Disciple Gear Sorcerer

Level 4

DARK Spellcaster/Effect

1600/1000

When your opponent adds a card(s) from their Deck to their hand, except by drawing them (except during the Damage Step): You can banish that card(s), and if you do, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field.

 

If this card was normal summoned this turn: you can tribute it to target up to 2 face-up spell/trap cards on the field; send those targets to the graveyard, also draw 1 card and if that card is a monster, you can special summon it. If there is not a "Spell-Disciple" monster in your graveyard, you must reveal 1 "Spell-Disciple" monster in your graveyard to resolve this effect.
