Recommended Posts

These Traps were made to be double edged swords while there effects are powerful the activation costs and the consequences for using them are pretty hefty,however they can be used to gain an early advantage. Individually the Traps can be used alone but I made it so you can build a deck based around it Though I do feel if the cards were actually in the game they would be banned but oh well ;) Comments,Thoughts,and Critique are Appreciated. hope you enjoy.

Quick Card Rulings:

Sloth:Destroying defense position monsters is a cost you cannot activate sloth if you control no defense position monsters.

////////////////////

Greed:

If an effect is chained and you somehow add cards to your hand you can no longer use the effect of greed to draw seven cards.

If you draw multiple "Forbidden Act"cards with this effect you can set as many as possible and activate them during the same turn you did.You still must pay activation costs.

////////////////////////

Gluttony:

Revealing your hand is a cost if you have no hand you cannot activate this card.

///////////////////////

Pride:

Discarding your half your hand is a cost if you have one or less cards in your hand you cannot activate this card.

Battle Damage from direct attacks are not affected by this cards effect.

////////////////

Final Verdict:Path to Damnation or Paradise

If an effect is chained that removes any "Forbidden Acts" card from your graveyard this card will go to your graveyard without its effect resolving.

All Seven "Forbidden Acts" must have been activated in order to activate this card.

okey here is what i think:

Sloth: It's a nice card but i personally would not run it. The fact that my opponent can attack once per turn is great. and i don't mind the cost.
where this card lost it for me was where i just can't attack for 14 turns! This means that i am putting myself at a disadvantage. if this card did not have the you can't attack for 14 turns effect i would run it.

Greed: Again, nice card where it not for one effect too much. pay half my life points for seven cards? no problem. but skipping 7 draw phases is where it lost me. if this card gave me one turn to put those cards on the field becasue i have to discard my hand at the end of the turn, i think it would be more viable.

Gluttony: I like it. This is in my eyes a great example of how these cards should work. you can build life points and if you set up a good field you wont lose any. so there is a catch but the catch won't necessarily screw you over.

Envy: Nice card, but i think giving your opponent an extra normal summon for 7 turns is a little bit much for a lot of players. i think not being able to special summon for 7 turns after you've had 7 turns of non stop special summoning would be better.

Wrath: This card would have been amazing if i could destroy my opponent with this. since i have to have less life points than my opponent to use it and i will take double the damage he took. basicly i'm doing damage and then i have to beat my opponent in 7 turns or i lose. IMO would be better if i could kill my opponent with this, but the damage would go to both players.

Pride: Once again the effect that should balance the card is going to screw the player that uses it. if it nuked my monsters i would probably use it.

Lust: I like it. Again great example of how these cards should work. i can do some damage but i am limiting myself, not screwing myself over.

Final Verdict: I love this card! it is a great win condition card, and has balanced effects.

I like the idea of the archetype although in my oppinion most of these cards do way more harm than good. double edged swords are fine but some if these cards are gonna cut my opponents arm off while it cuts my head off.
But i do really like the idea of using the seven sins as cards and the fact that they are so powerfull. i don't think they would be banned because you put a limit on them yourself.
So all in all great idea and i would love to see what else you have in store for these cards.
