HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AGAIN

But this is about a niche use that never really had an easy implementation before, but does now!

As I've mentioned in the past, this card is actually pretty decent for laddering, because it just allows you to skip a stage of said laddering while spinning something in either grave. It's not a LUCRATIVE ladder piece, per se, but it's a resource that restocks itself and can restock another thing (ED monsters) or disrupt the opponent, so you don't have to give up an ED slot to ladder with it.

But, laddering into bigger Synchros with a level 8 Synchro... Isn't really that easy.

However, this effect allows you to restock both itself AND a link it ladders with/you later ladder with. If the ED stays the same as it currently is, then this means a lot more, because it allows you to continue climbing without giving up a precious ED monster, which are sure to be limited.

I doubt it stays the same, but still worth noting, as we have no confirmation either way.

I'll say it once, and many many times more, but this is literally the best thing to come out of PSY-Frames.

I dunno, Overload is pretty trollsy

Oh and Black...

What does this mean?

Which stage are you referring to?

It puts itself back into the ED, so if you get a card that requires something like this in the future, it essentially just lets you skip over.

Best way to explain is:

4 + 4 tuner = omega + 2 Tuner = Leo

omega restocks itself and something else

so you essentially payed 4+4+2, and didn't use an ED slot, and got to restock/disrupt in the process.

the issue is there's nothing you've ever wanted to use him to ladder into.

Isn't that just using up more resources than needed? I'd rather just use the monsters that I used to summon Omega to summon the Link Monster/whatever

As of now, yes. But if we get something that, say, requires Synchros/LIGHT/Psychic, it could be worth it. We've already gotten examples of all three.

Overload isn't generic

Well if we're putting the requirement that it has to be generic, there's only Zeta as competition. You don't say that card X is

the best thing to come out of Y

if X has no competition because Y is an extremely small group of cards...

You might say that Gofu is the best thing to come out of Blackwings, or that Omega was the best thing out of High Speed Riders if we're talking generic cards.

You wouldn't say that Triamid Pulse is

the best thing to come out of Triamids

because of its genericness. It has no competition.

just sayin

All the Psyframes are effectively generic. 3 of any 1 Psyframe and 1 Driver gives you a negation engine similarly to how Terrortop is an XYZ engine.

Heh I mentioned using Psyframes as a negation engine and people ridiculed me for using the words 'negation engine'. Glad to see that someone else agrees

To be fair, I only noticed it because it was pointed out to me by someone else. But yea the only Psyframe cards that aren't actually generic are Overdrive and Circuit.

The summon gear might actually be pretty good now since hitting a link 3 is so significant.

there isn't a summon gear. Alpha responds to summons, but it doesn't actually do anything about it.

Actually Accelerator (from INOV) isn't generic either, and nor is Alpha when you think about it.
