Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time 2 and 3?

With a sixth YGO series premiering this Spring, I think it's natural for fans to want a crossover between all of the series. However, I see the problem with this: too many characters and not enough time to work with them all. I enjoyed Bonds Beyond Time but as a proper critic thought it was good enough. Six protagonists in a single 90 minute film will be difficult to handle, so I propose a second movie without Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei. Instead of the OG three we use the new three: Yuma, Yuya, and newcomer Yusaku.

Just imagine how cool it'd be to see a film with parallels to BBT but with the new three. I could see it happening when the fanbase gets used to VRAINS. We wouldn't have to worry about getting all 6 characters to properly meet each other. I think it'd be a ton of fun and so I'm thinking that if Konami doesn't bother making it, I may just write out a fanfic.

For those who really want to see them all interact there is a potential solution to please everyone. By the end of BBT, Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei are all familiar with one another. The sequel of BBT would have Yuma, Yuya, and Yusaku on acquaintance terms. So imagine the ending of BBT2 (or a credits scene) with the OG three meeting the new three and saying something cryptic like "Where are we?"or "Something big is about to happen." BOOM, we got a trilogy with all of them by the end (but only a trilogy, I wouldn't want to stretch it too far).

I'm thinking BBT2 could be called something along the lines of Bonds Beyond Worlds or something...idk. The third could be Bonds Beyond Life (yes, I know, cheesy...feel free to help out).

What do you guys think? I really want to hear your thoughts.

Yuma's deck wouldn't really work without link monsters, and giving him link monster doesn't really make much sense either.

Yell, that's where Yusaku comes to the rescue, as a road paver for those other two protagonists.

I agree with Xeno. I can picture it already. Maybe, just like Jaden and Yusei met and then teamed with Yugi, Yuma and Yuya can team up. The villain may go to Yusaku's world and the two of them find a way to follow. They try to summon their monsters, when suddenly...WHAT? Yuma can only summon an Xyz Monster in a 6th zone and Yuya is surprised to find the Pendulum Zones merged with two Spell/Trap Zones. They're confused until they meet Yusaku and by then they could end up having a temporary Link Monsters (Konami would love marketing this).

I honestly would love a crossover sequel, but I personally think a sequel would be good enough if just Yuma and Yuya met. That would be enough comic relief to last a lifetime, and I'm offended by the new Link-era updates on a personal level. Yuma would be blown away by Pendulums and Synchros, and the power of ZeXal would be a total mindscrew to Yuya.

Not to mention their personalities and philosophies are pretty compatible, if not immensely similar. And the rich cast of people they've each befriended? Their aggressive female counterparts? Their spirit companion things they have going on? (No spoilers for ARC-V, on either side plz.) They'd get along great!

Am I the only person who wishes that these time travel shenanigans would cause some sort of crossover effects into previous series'? Like Yusei learning about Xyz monsters at the end of 5D's and alluding to the world of ZeXal. Oh, but that would require forethought, and Konami is really crappy at that.

That'd honestly be cool as hell. But I like the Link format so I'm fine with Yusaku's appearance. Regarding the last question, I honestly really wanted that, too.

I want a movie with The Chazz, Bastion, and Axel kicking ass across the multiverse.

Who wouldn't?
