I'll add in the main combo as well if anyone's interested: Opening hand: Aleister/Terraforming/Magical Meltdown + Lonefire/Ophrys Scorpio + any monster Scorpio pitch monster -> Darling Cobra to search Brilliant FusionOverlay to Invoker -> do Zoo combo searching Black Sheep from Broadbull to grab Fusion SubstituteThe field should now be Invoker + Emeral + Drancia, Substitute, BriFu and Aleister in handSummon Aleister to grab InvocationFusion Substitute the Aleister and Seraphinite into MagellanicaThen either:Invocation the LIGHT you sent of BriFu and Aleister in Grave for Mechabahor:Invocation Aleister in Grave and Magellanica for ElysiumThen you can draw off Emeral and use Fusion Substitute in Grave to draw Maxx "C" and Dimensional Barrier ;) Also add back Aleister with Invocation Field:Invoker, Drancia, Emeral + either Magellanica and Mechabah or Elysium Hand:2 random cards + Aleister Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darj Posted February 28, 2017 Report Share Posted February 28, 2017 How about a couple of Instant Fusions?Searchable by Cobra, with Norden it makes Rank4 plays, something OCG can't do because their Norden is banned, and something amusing I do with it is Summoning Raideen and use it + Seraphinite for Durendal, for an extra negation. As last resort, you can also use it to Summon Caligula and make a Rank4 or something. Some LIGHTs like Thasher and maybe trick Clown could come in handy: both can act as fodder for Merkabah and are millable by Brilliant Fusion, and the former is used to kickstart a combo by Xyz Summoning Broadbull in case you don't open with a Ratpier. Although with Predaplants along the roids and Barrage, I guess that's barely an issue. Elysion can be a good combo card, too. In Eidolon Zoodiacs it is played to be Summoned by using Magallanica and a Xyz/Seraphinite to make space for monsters on the board. Some decks play Fusion Substitute instead of regular Poly for the extra card draw, plus it combos well with the aforementioned Elysion play. Zauls Posted February 28, 2017 Author Report Share Posted February 28, 2017 I've tried both Instant Fusions and Trick Clown and neither extend combos further simply because I don't have Extra Deck space for decent Rank 4s (or even Norden itself) and the field gets clogged very quickly with Seraphinite etc. Thrasher seems decent but space is an issue. So far just the Ghost Ogres have been enough LIGHT monsters considering you get to Brilliant Fusion pretty damn often. Poly is because Black Sheep, not Cobra. Elysium is a great idea actually just to clear Seraphinite off the board, so I'll take out Caligula for it because I decided Caligula sucks. On a side note, I'm going to go -3 Barrage +3 Lonefire because Lonefire gets to the full combo whereas Barrage just gets you the basic Zoo combo only. I've never needed Barrage so far anyway. Also if I'm playing Lonefire I'll take out a Raidjin for a Purgatrio. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah Substitute is objectively better than Poly here since the combo uses monster from field for Poly anyway. Made the edits and edited OP to add the main combo.
