You can only control 1 "Virgil, Cicerone of the Burning Abyss". This card gains 500 ATK for each "Burning Abyss" monster in its Linked Zone. Once per turn, if a card(s) is sent from your Deck to your Graveyard by a card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can discard 1 "Burning Abyss" card, then target 1 card sent to your Graveyard this way; return it to the hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can discard 1 card; draw 1 card.

 

This is my second iteration of a Burning Abyss Link Monster. It revolves around using Dante's effect to generate card economy. This time, the Link Monster is based on one of the humans from the Divine Comedy, like the other Extra Deck monsters. I can envision the idea of recovering cards sent to the Graveyard from Dante's effect as Virgil's way of guiding Dante through Hell and Purgatory, leaving behind the souls of the damned along the way, and taking only the things he really needs from his journey.
