Babymon
Could Chain energy work as an alternative to Maxx CC or be utilised in Anti-meta decks to slow down meta decks. Basically activate it after setting up your board. I know people say LP don't cost, but they do matter and can lead to early game if you dip too low. So this begs the question if this card can be used in similar fashion to Max C, a deterrent to LP cost for players.
The Warden
Maxx "C" has surprise factor since it's a handtrap, while this is a big fat eyesore and just ripe for destruction, which is fairly prominent in this game. Odds are your opponent would only burn 500-1500 LP before this thing goes bye bye. Zoos would at most burn 500 by stacking to Drident from Ratpier. Plus, another issue is that this card only really applies to the hand, whereas a lot of decks can spam from everywhere now. So the damage isn't as extreme as you'd like to think it would be. Kaiji
There isn't a surprise factor, given Zoo format its basically expected to be in your opponents hand and yoi' d be playing around it in every game. Maxx just happens to be really good going second.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
If they have a field of drident+treatoad or similar, them being at 4000 life points isn't going to make it any easier to beat them. If I have 15 cards in my hand I stand a pretty good chance to just ruin them. Not to mention that this is basically completely useless if you aren't going first.
