Reconverging Worlds

[Field Spell]

Both players can Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck in any of their Monster Card Zones. If this card is destroyed: Destroy all non-Link monsters Special Summoned from the Extra Deck that are not in Extra Monster Zones or Linked Zones.

Suppose this is some consolation for a lot of ED heavy Decks that are going to be screwed over by the new rules effective in the next 11 days, so that helps a lot with making them usable [or least not forcing them to change their style of play].

(D/D's are probably saying thank you for this, as are a lot of other top Decks nowadays)

[i still don't get or like Konami's logic behind the changes, but what can I do about it outside quitting this game?]

On that note, I suppose it'd allow you to summon something like Honeybot (I think that one has the Left/Right markers) and make it Link quickly as opposed to having to make another one first. Then again, if one chooses to play in the legacy format (ARC-V, now), this card doesn't have any use. That in mind, said monster does have non-generic materials; going to assume that we will get generic ones that do the same thing.

Just make sure one maxes out Terraforming and stuff to make sure they can actually do it.

I see I'm not alone in hating the restrictions on Summoning from the Extra Deck. (My poor Synchron deck )

I like how you're countering that, though. Get some monsters out quickly, including some Link Monsters so you have a bunch of Linked Zones, and then get rid of your own Field Spell so your opponent can't use it and to open up the Field Spell Zone. I like it.

I like this card. Allowing you to play normally (or at least what we deem normal now until the advent of Link monsters). A double-edged sword of you will. You can Special Summon at least two monsters from your Extra Deck, at the risk of losing it all to cards such as Mystical Space Typhoon, Twin Twisters, and Zoodiac Drident just to name a few. It's a neat risk-reward-eske card!

I'm gonna have to be that odd one out and say I don't really like this one personally.

The entire game is in the same boat in terms of the new restrictions unless you are playing Metalfoes or Igknights, so it isn't like a deck in particular at the moment was killed or given god status through this in a way many other decks weren't...... but enough of general talk from me...

An effect that unlocks the ability to use more Extra Deck like normal and not needing to be Link-based is a concept I am completely fine with, but this card unlocks things in such a generic way that it seems rather effortless. Not to mention you get the first taste at comboing the heck out of your deck with help of this card during the turn you play it, and can always make sure to get rid of it with a play so that only you get to do it.

If it had a less broad pool to work with it wouldn't be so up in the air in terms of what can possibly abuse this, on top of how it right now has a big risk of breaking something or becoming a card that is primarily used in OTK combos....

I'd personally unlock a single zone which would be enough for non-Quasar-like decks to operate IMO. At least.
