Granel Top 3

Alright, so we know there were various modules for the Meklord Emperor monsters, but while we saw some of "Granel Top 5" (500/2000/Level 5 EARTH with a relatively weak effect which was only useful for using Meklord Astro Mekanikle to send it to the Graveyard, although that may not have been the complete effect), we never saw "Granel Top 3". This card is intended to be an idea for what it may have been like.

Granel Top 3

  • Level 3 EARTH
  • 500/1000
  • You can Special Summon this card from your hand by Tributing 1 "Granel Top" you control. If you do not control a face-up "Infinity" monster, destroy this card. If an "Infinity" monster you control attacks, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step.

On another note, which animal do you think would be most suitable for the artwork as well?

Did you also rework Granel Top or is this the only card of the Meklord bunch you worked on? Because Granel Top is essential to it and the one from the anime doesn't support the Meklords. Also, you should account for the fact this was a part of Granel in the anime, but all the pieces were put together for the OCG/TCG, so this doesn't raise the Meklords' ATK. There is also the problem they are not "∞" cards in the tcg, so it would be better to have it support "Meklord" monsters (if you want to keep it faithful to the anime, you can simply state Level 1 "Meklord" monsters). A good thing would be to turn this into a pseudo-union like "Superheavy Samurai Soulclaw" and add an effect that supports the consistency of "Meklord" monsters, given they aren't even a Deck. Lastly, when you write an effect that allows the monster to be summoned without starting a chain, you should write the location between parenthesis.

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Granel Top" you control.
