The Sinkhole of Doom

DARK Aqua / Synchro / Effect

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuners

When this card is Special Summoned, target one card your opponent controls: Destroy it. This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. During your End Phase, if this card did not destroy an opponent's monster by battle this turn, send it to the graveyard, and if you do, target 1 monster your opponent controls: Banish it.

 

After all, we need more generic Aqua monsters.

If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can banish any number of cards from your opponent's hand or Graveyard, up to the number of Synchro Materials for the Synchro Summon of this card. This card can attack while in Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation. If this Synchro Summoned card leaves the field: You can Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard. 

 

(Obsidan + black tortoise, so yeah, more defensive.)

If this monster inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, increase your LP by the amount of damage inflicted.

When this monster is Synchro Summoned, excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck: You can add any Tuner monsters excavated this way to your hand. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can target 1 "Nitro" monster you control: Decrease its Level by 1. If this monster is used as Synchro Material, the Synchro Summoned monster gains 300 ATK for each card in your hand.

This card gains 100 ATK and DEF for every FIRE monster on your field and in your graveyard. FIRE monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's Spell/Trap Cards and effects.

Must be Synchro Summoned, and cannot be Summoned by other ways. This monster can attack a number of times per Battle Phase equal to the number of non-Tuner Synchro Materials used for its Synchro Summon. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects during the Battle Phase. If this card leaves the field, you can Special Summon 1 Level 10 or lower "Nitro" monster from your Graveyard, ignoring Summoning conditions.

If you control a Synchro monster that specifically names the Tuner monster required for its Synchro Summon, this monster can be treated as a Tuner. If this monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle, increase its Level by 1 and its ATK by 300. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can reduce this monster's Level by 1 (min. 1) to target 1 face-up card your opponent controls of the same card Type (Monster, Spell, or Trap) as a face-up card you control: Destroy that target. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Drill Synchron" from your Graveyard.

 

Oh hai Lazengann. Also, if you use both this and Drill Warrior (making sure to pop a card using this guy first), you can get out Stardust Warrior and an extra Drill Synchron. Or, alternatively, let him kill something in battle and use them for Tzol'kin, and still get a friggin' Drill Synchron.

This card on the field is also treated as WATER, EARTH, FIRE, and WIND. This card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's DARK monsters (by battle or by card effect). Other WATER, EARTH, FIRE, WIND, and LIGHT monsters you control gain 300 ATK.

 

Personally, I'm going to keep writing in the Legacy format until Code is officially released in the US.
