Legendary Dark Magician
Level 8 | ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
DARK | Spellcaster / Synchro / Effect
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Spellcaster-Type monsters
Cannot be destroyed by Spell/Trap effects. This card's name becomes "Dark Magician" while it is on the field. You can only use each of these effects of "Legendary Dark Magician" once per turn.
● (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field; that target has its effects negated.
● You can discard 1 card, then target 1 Spell/Trap Card in your GY that specifically lists the card "Dark Magician" in its text; apply that target's effect, then banish that target.

Lore:

 

1 FIRE Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Flamvell" monsters
If you use a "Flamvell" tuner for the Synchro Summon of this card, you can treat it as Level 4.
All "Flamvell" monsters you control gain 200 ATK for each of your opponent's banished cards. When a "Flamvell" monster destroys a monster by battle, banish cards from the top of your opponent's deck equal to the destroyed monster's level/rank/Link rating. During either player's turn, you can banish 1 monster from your opponent's GY. You can activate this effect any number of times per turn, up to the number of "Flamvell" monsters you control.

While you control a “Six Samurai” monster, your opponent cannot target this card with card effects. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a monster effect (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster. If a “Six Samurai” monster(s) you control would be destroyed, you can remove 3 Bushido Counters from your field instead of destroying 1 of those monsters.

Lore: 1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can Set 1 Continuous Spell/Trap Card directly from your Deck. After this effect resolves, either destroy the card Set by this effect or 2 other cards you control. If a Spell/Trap Card(s) on the field is destroyed: You can activate this effect: this turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects.
 
Based on something I did a super long ways back, but I'm always happy to see where terms of improvement can work for a monster-especially one with such a low-key powerful effect.
 
 
NEXT UP: 
 
In the same vein as "Avenging Knight Parshath", make a Synchro that's an evolution of a Level 5 through 9 Effect Monster from the Main Deck, but 3 Levels higher. The catch? It has to include one of the original effects of its previous form, unchanged (except for PBCT changes, of course!).

You can send 1 card from your hand to the GY, then target 1 face-up opponent's monster; change its ATK to 0, also it cannot change its battle position. Once per turn: You can negate the effects of all monsters your opponent controls with less ATK than this card, until the end of this turn. If all the Synchro Materials used to Synchro Summon this card were Reptile-type, it can activate its effects as Quick Effects.

 

Next: A Synchro Monster that requires at least 3 monsters as Synchro Material.

Feel Truesdale, Albverdich and Ingunar need more help-and considering how weenie-hut the Plants tend to be in the Extra Deck Summoning game....

If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4, 6 or 8 monster from your Deck, but negate its effects. Immediately after this effect resolves, Xyz Summon 1 Xyz Monster with the same original Type or Attrbute as this card using monsters you control, including that Summoned monster. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation. If this card is sent to the GY, except from the field: You can send 1 Level 4 Plant or WATER monster from your Deck to the GY.
 
 
NEXT UP:
 
In the same vein as Ib the Justiciar (to Ib the Priestess) and Daigusto Gulldos (to Winda the Priestess), make a Synchro Monster that's a different version of an already established Duel Terminal monster, but 3 Levels higher than its original's Level/Rank/Link Rating. Bonus point if that new monster can find a way to use its original form as Synchro Material (if it's Xyz/Link).
