Not too many archetypes are based on this mechanic, so I suppose this will bring it back a bit, even if it is irrelevant. Their playstyle is to be revealed for their plus effects, but if they are sent to the Graveyard, you get minuses. Some monsters will be able to handle that though through some of the boss monsters. AmritaWATER Spellcaster Level 2600/700Effect: During either player's turn: You can reveal this card in your hand, then activate 1 of the following effects:-Add 1 Level 3 or lower "V.D." monster from your Deck to your hand, except " V.D. Amrita".-Special Summon 1 "V.D." monster from your Graveyard.If this card is revealed: Keep it revealed in your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Banish 1 card in your hand. V.D. ArmitageWATER Spellcaster Level 3600/700Effect: During either player's turn: You can reveal this card in your hand, then activate 1 of the following effects:-Add 1 "V.D." card from your Graveyard to your hand, except "V.D. Armitage".-Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it.If this card is revealed: Keep it revealed in your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Shuffle 1 card in your hand to the Graveyard. V.D. ArtisanWATER Spellcaster Level 1 Tuner600/700Effect: During either player's turn: You can reveal this card in your hand, then activate 1 of the following effects:-Reveal 1 other card in your hand, then Special Summon this card.-Reveal 1 other card in your hand, then Special Summon 1 "V.D." monster from your Deck, except "V.D. Artisan".If this card is revealed: Keep it revealed in your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Destroy 1 card you control. V.D. AnagramWATER Spellcaster Level 8 Synchro?/?Effect: 1 Synchro Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersThis card gains ATK and DEF equal to the total ATK and DEF of the Synchro Material Monsters used for this card's Summon. Monster effects cannot be activated in the Graveyard. You can reveal any number of monsters in your hand, then target cards on the field up to the number of monsters you revealed; destroy them, and if you do, keep those cards revealed. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effects: You can reveal 1 "V.D." monster in your hand; return 1 "V.D." monster you control to the hand. You can only use each effect of "V.D.
