Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 Normal Monster, then target 1 monster in your GY with the same Level but a different name as the Tributed monster in your GY; Special Summon it to a zone a Link monster points to. If you Tribute a "World Legacy" or "World Chalice" monster this way, you can target a Link monster with the same Link Rating as the Tributed monster's Level, instead. You can also Fusion Summon this card by sending the above Materials you control to the Graveyard. If a Spell/Trap Card(s) your opponent controls is destroyed by the effect of a card that was originally a monster: You can banish 1 card from your opponent's field or Graveyard. If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle, you can target up to 2 Union monsters in your Graveyard with different names: Special Summon that target(s). Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can either equip this card you control to a face-up "Burning Beast", Freezing Beast", or "Frostburn Beast" you control (if a monster equipped with this card would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead). A monster equipped with this card by its own effect gains 400 ATK for each different Union monster on the field and in the Graveyard, also, if it inflicts battle damage to your opponent while you have fewer cards in your hand than your opponent: You can banish a number of cards from your opponent's Graveyard up to the difference, then gain 1000 LP for each of your opponent's banished cards.

 

Make a Fusion that combines two or more "useless" effects (stat boosting, protection exclusively from battle or destruction, LP gain, non-Quick single target destruction), but puts them together, and maybe adds in something new, in a way that gives the card an interesting niche. As an example, Gearfried the Swordmaster's non-OPT "if I get equipped with something, pop an opponent's card".

You can only activate each effect of "Life Force Manipulator" once per turn.

 

Might be a bit too much for an Instant Fusion target, but I was trying to think of a creative way to combine these "useless" effects.

If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. This card cannot be targeted by the effects of Level 6 or lower monsters.
 
 
This idea of contact Fusion (Again) came from the nice heyday I remembered when the first wave of new Red-Eyes support dropped (the Gemini/Archfiend Black Skull/Flare Metal stuff), and people were teching Kinka-byo in Red-Eyes because it was essentially a one-card Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with search when you revived Black Metal Dragon.
 
Effects come from one Synchro each from the first two 5D's packs, Duelist Genesis and Crossroads of Chaos: Avenging Knight Parshath and Turbo Warrior (well, its targeting effect anyways.) Can't get much earlier than that.

Next: A Fusion Monster whose materials are 1 Synchro and 1 Xyz.  They can be either named or generic materials, it's up to you.

Must first be Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned from the Extra Deck by Tributing 1 "Old Entity" and 1 "Outer Entity" monster. You can target 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your GY that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set: Special Summon it in Defense Position, with its effects negated, also banish it when it leaves the field. You can only activate this effect of "Elder Entity Sothoth" once per turn.

 

1 Synchro + 1 Xyz is a combination that's pretty much exclusive to Norden and N'Tiss, so I had to follow the trends.

 

Next up: A Neos Fusion combination that has not been done yet.

"Elemental HERO Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther" + "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab"

Must first be Fusion Summoned by shuffling the above Materials into the Deck (you do not use "Polymerization"). This card gains 400 ATK for each card your opponent controls. You can reduce this card's ATK in multiples of 100 (Quick Effect): All monsters your opponent controls with equal or lesser ATK than the amount of ATK this card lost have their effects negated, and are banished when they leave the field. During the End Phase: Shuffle this card into your Extra Deck, destroy all monsters on the field, then each player can Special Summon a number of "Neo-Spacian" monsters with different names from their Deck or Graveyard up to the number of monsters destroyed.

 

Make a Fusion that combines two of the best monsters in the game's history in your personal opinion (in terms of design, effects, competitive performance, etc.) and make the Materials loose, but capable of using those two specific monsters.

For example, a player who loves the two Emissaries could make a Fusion that requires a Level 8 Warrior and a DARK Dragon, with both the mass nuke and targeted banish.

One member is a Chaos Deck-countering, GY token-spamming DARK Fairy that's been featured in OTK builds as early as a year ago

When you take battle damage, or if a card(s) in your opponents possession is banished while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon 1 "Eva Token" (Fiend/DARK/Level 1/ATK 500/DEF 500), then if you took battle damage, you can also Special Summon 1 "Emissary of Darkness Token" (Fairy/LIGHT/Level 7/ATK ?/DEF ?). (When Summoned, its ATK/DEF becomes equal to the battle damage you took.)

You can only activate each effect of 'Cyber Swirl' per turn.

Seeing as Metaphys recently took a hit, lets give them a fusion that will get people to tech in fusion support into their Metaphys decks
