[spoiler=Some drawings in progress]

More additions to the Abysstella archetype? I really love the nautilus and the leafy sea dragon concept. :)

Let's assume it's also card art, but then again, it's also ironic that it's a skunk (animal known for spraying horrid smells) is wearing a gas mask (unless even he couldn't take it or far more toxic than what he's used to).

So far, it seems good.

Uh, and I guess I'll post these, even though it's digital art and partly derived from earlier vector models and stuff I posted a few months ago (because lack of time to draw a fresh one).

[spoiler=Note]

If you remember my Judy sketch from September-ish, I basically vectored the general body design, save for the hands and legs. Because I don't have any hand vectors, yeah, had to give this one a [diving] glove (well, because doing Diver Deer and stuff technically yields plenty of those) and resize it accordingly to the arm. Also because a lot of anthro characters wear them anyway, so...

The left arm is positioned awkwardly though, but that's the issue with it. Original pic had it on hip, but yeah, just assume she's grabbing something behind on her belt.

Also need to work on the beveling effect for the Kevlar vest (yes, the same one Judy has on somewhat).

I had another idea for this one (preferably a male member), but...yeah, ended up with this one (and to be fair, needed more gender diversity anyway).

As for Sleepy, all of them look great.

Looking good.

The skunk reminds me of a YouTube video I watched the other day. This one.

I'll be looking forward to seeing the progress.

I think that's the first deer drawing that walks on two legs that you've done so far, unless I forgot something =0

Here's my own drawing update:

As far as fur shading goes, think they probably use multiple layers and stuff for it (as far as anime goes for non-white animals and artwork online). Personally, I just use one shade for stuff, then just add internal shadow/glow effects using the other tools.

Probably one gripe about this one is the tail is harder to differentiate from the body, but otherwise it does look cleaner.

====

@Sleepy: Yeah, this is the only one that's a biped, as opposed to all of the other ones I posted in here last year.

[spoiler=For now this is my last Abystella drawing]

Me likey... All the ones that tell a visual story look like something that would convey these are Spell/Trap cards. Met my wishes, I think. Can't wait to see what they do if they are Spell/Trap cards. Who is the invader? Any existing Monster card in particular? Or just your own monster in mind? :)

On side note, Mermaid looks like she has her work cut out for her with all these task. XD

HERE is the folder of the archetype cards and HERE is the folder for the images

I've tested them at Duel Portal but haven't uploaded the full theme here at YCM xP

I made a thread when I only had 6 but it's super outdated with all the edits over time.

I'm going to assume that it's facing towards us and not with its back at viewer. But otherwise, you could just move the thumb over to the other side when you color it in and whatnot in Photoshop, etc. Just make the thumbs separate layers from the hand and mirror them accordingly.

Idea is cool though,

If the palms are facing away from us, yeah, the thumbs would be on the outside, and also be partially covered by the hand.

I like the placement of the paddles and handle xD

I'll take this post as a chance to upload a drawing I made last week

I love Bicyclops! It reminds of a superhero idea I had years ago, a man that could transform into a bicycle. I imagine the pedals spin when it walks?

Well... I  just kind of threw it together honestly, and hoped for the best. It is more of a first draft. But, now I am thinking more about Bicyclops' mechanical anatomy even though it will just be in card art. So in essence I would like to say yes since that is a pretty rad idea.

[spoiler=This looks more like some ninja equestrian rider than an Air Force general]

HjjMzml.jpg

I think I went overboard on this one, considering this one looks more like the spoiler title says and less of someone who's the highest rank in the (US) Air Force. But to be fair to me, I was technically drawing this at work for the most part (well, while I'm not selling Dippin' Dots and stuff at water park) so...lack of details to look at, as opposed to what I had when doing Ayumi's art.

I still suck at drawing headgear and stuff, so...there you go.

And yes, I did technically copy Sakura's hair pattern from Shippuden (not going off the fact that this character has same name). No, that doesn't mean this will end up with pink hair too; maybe it will, but we'll have to see.

I hate the double posting, but yeah, another one. Technically 2 days later, but I didn't check if new scanner worked on PC directly until now.

[spoiler=Partially an anniversary pic (no, I'm not married)]
rGNF2XD.png

The anniversary part was to commemorate me working at the water park for 2 years (well, counting my orientation day as the first one; 8/9/2016 was my official start date, but hiring was somewhere in late July). Also yeah, I did draw this at work on my breaks in-between selling stuff [i have a small notebook I write stuff in to keep stuff from boredom].

Clothing here is based on my work uniform, which is basically polo shirt (current one I have right now is black with red accents on the sides and under sleeves, and does not have the company logo on it), black shorts and well, sneakers (which I had to eschew/modify to fit deer feet). I guess assume that it's wearing socks and hoof boots/shoes as appropriate. IDK, you figure out something. Also no, I didn't get a ribbon for making 2 years at the company; that part's just added bonus.

Stuff in left hand is a cash bag, which contains the starting money so I can technically give change and whatever else. It says "FUN ZONE 58" because that's the job I had at the time (and technically have been doing for the summer). There is another one that says "LEMON 48" at the bottom because that was what I used to do at water park [make/sell lemonade; easy, right?] before they gave it away to grill people (and ultimately scrapped it late 2017). Yes, I know the numbers on some of the bags by now.

[Yes, I still draw deer ears like fox type; don't blame me q_q]

=====

Like all of my stuff, will look a lot better after digital shading and whatnot. Also will get a chance to do it in two outfits; one in current one and other with my new uniform shirt (which is basically a navy-blue one with logo on it, which I'm hopefully buying before I leave work today).

I still gotta digitize the Air Force bunny one too, so hopefully it looks better in color.
