Ryusei the Morning Star
-If a monster in the Extra Monster Zone is temporarily banished and returns, it returns to the Main Monster Zone of the last player who controlled it, in the same battle position. During this time, if the Main Monster Zone is filled, the monster is sent to the Graveyard instead.
Darj
So, this rule should also apply to Farfa, Timesword Magician, Doom Lord, PSYFramelord Zeta, etc. Doesn't this turn PSY Zeta into a strong pseudo-lock card?

I assume by pseudo-lock you mean that Zeta can keep banishing Link Monsters, then returning to the MMZ while freeing up your EMZ? In theory, yes, but you want to be careful about how link markers work in their MMZ. Keep in mind returning a link monster will allow that player to place his newly returned link in any MMZ he wants

Kaiji
I mean you could just run over the smaller dudes who point downwards to be fair
Ryusei the Morning Star
I mean you could just run over the smaller dudes who point downwards to be fairIt's not downward I'm afraid of, it's LDR you cannot run over A link going LDR would suddenly open up 2 new link zone upon Zeta use, instead of one I just think a bit of nuance is needed with Zeta Well, except for firewall, honeybot and gaiasaber links do not want to go to the main monster zone ... that being said, it is rather unlikely those returned monsters survive your turn. That's like three of the 5 we have right? I was more trying to say we need to apply nuance instead of wide platitudes about Zeta's usage
Darj
I was more thinking about using it as a mini-floodgate, by banishing the first Link Monster the opponent Summons, hopefully stopping any Extra Deck Summoning follow-ups of the rest of the turn. Then you bring both back and eliminate that Link Monster; rinse and repeat.
Kaiji
Not sure why Saber is even brought up when highlander already noted it as an exception and I'm talking about Missus and Link Spider Basically on top of what Darj said, whatever link monster you banish returns to the field on the Zeta controller's turn so you have an additional turn to deal with it while picking off the smaller dudes. ~~~~
How many times are we going to discuss this card?when it gets Limited, then when it gets Banned. When it gets a dark counterpart and when it gets a /assault mode. so four more times in total

When it gets a dark counterpart and when it gets a /assault mode. so four more times in total Just saying, topics were made for this card on the 18th of February and the 9th of March. And we pretty much had the same suspicions then as were confirmed in this topic. It's good, it'll be good until it's banned, PSY-Frames are a terrible deck. Darj
To be fair, the thread pretty much derailed into discussion on PSYFramelord Zeta instead xD
