VCR_CAT Posted March 25, 2017 Report Share Posted March 25, 2017 Cannot be Normal Summoned if you control a Level 5 or higher monster. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 monster with 0 DEF in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. Its effects are negated. You cannot Special Summon any other monsters, except from the Extra Deck, during the turn you activate this effect. I make this topic because with Star Grails and Gouki's I've seen a lot of people go "Hey, Masked Chameleon will be good now!" To which I say: uhhhh, no? It takes your normal summon and that last clause basically gates your turn. Only time that's not going to hurt you a lot is if you manage to get a lot of monsters out before summoning this, but even then. Honestly, in the world of Link Monsters, if you really want a grave-revival-on-normal-summon just use Mauled Captain. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Darj Posted March 25, 2017 Report Share Posted March 25, 2017 Yeah, it can revive Goukis and Star Grails, but I also doubt it will become too good. The restrictions on the effect really hold it back. In theory it may have a chance as a 1-of "secret tech" for a sudden burst, but nothing too amazing IMO.
