And it seems they're adapting content from multiple books (the giant toilet monster was in the second book, Captain Underpants doesn't get superpowers until the third, and Poopypants is in the fourth), which makes sense since a single book is definitely not long enough to adapt an entire film from. I just hope the movie ends with something bad happening and Harold and George saying their classic "Oh no!" and "Here we go again!" lines like at the end of the books. Shradow Posted March 27, 2017 Report Share Posted March 27, 2017 The subtitle is obviously a nod to the books being labeled as "The First/Second/Third/etc. Epic Novel" (the fact they remembered to use lower case i among the other capital letters was nice), but I'm hoping it also means they're setting themselves up for sequels.
