VCR_CAT Posted March 30, 2017 Report Share Posted March 30, 2017 When your opponent's monster declares an attack on a face-up Pendulum Monster you control: You can destroy both cards in your Pendulum Zones, and if you do, negate the attack and draw 1 card. The first time this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect each turn, it is not destroyed. If you take damage from a battle involving this attacking card: It can make a second attack in a row on that same attack target, and if it does, it gains ATK equal to double the damage you took from that battle, during damage calculation only. A throwback to an entry I made for Black's Protagonist Ace contest; I've made some minor changes to it since to really polish the design, notably in changing the pendulum effect and modifying the monster effects. I still like the idea behind the main monster effect, being capable of beating over almost anything with said impact of beating over being as big as you can take the hit to be. The fact that this card only gets it's enhanced-double-attack ability from ramming itself into something stronger and forcing you to take damage AND trigger the OPT indestructibility, really prevents the enhancement from being considered broken. The pendulum effect is also pretty good. Although I have this secret burning hate for Pendulums, as a passionate Machine-Type user, I wouldn't be surprised if I found myself going to war with my inner demons just to get my hands on this dude.
