Jikaishin Razion / Razion, the Timelord
Fire Fairy / Effect
LV10 0/0
Cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck.
(1) If you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing.
(2) Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. You take no battle damage from battles involving this card.
(3) At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked: Shuffle all cards from your opponent’s Graveyard into the Deck.
(4) Once per turn, if your opponent draws a card(s): Inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.
(5) Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Shuffle this card into the Deck.

Oh hey, this is a thing. I wonder why now, but either way, it's nice that they're doing it. I don't remember all that much of how these are suppose to play, but this seems okay I suppose. As long as they continue to make them, I'm sure something will come of them.

O_O

So...randomly printing one of the Temporal Machine Gods. I legitimately did not expect them to do anything after Metaion and Sephylon, especially since Sephylon has no connection to the rest of the "archetype".

And Razion is loyal to the anime version, maybe even slightly buffed since it can burn for 1000 any time the opponent draws, even if it's just once per turn. And none of the TMGs have "you cannot Summon other monsters".

Tbph, I wasn't expecting the others to come out either after what they did to Sephylon.

They made Sephylon GOOD, though. It's not remotely forced into the archetype, and its revival effect is also not restricted to the archetype, and gives them 4000 ATK. Hell, Sephylon is the type of boss that says "8000 damage on the board in an instant for nothing".

And technically, when this was used, the opponent DID care about the Graveyard. But more in the sense of "I really don't want them in my Deck, oh my Z-One, you're putting them back in my Deck".

...what's different? Like...I really don't see much different from that pic and the pic at the top, other than it's not zoomed in.

If you look carefully, you will see that it was redrawn in a different shading and background, as well as slightly zoom out, compare to the anime version.

this might be one of my favorite cards ever, if only for the fact that it + creature swap is a free deck refresh, and even without creature swap, it has hands down, the best graveyard screwing effect i've ever had the joy and displeasure of reading. i keep hearing about how the timelords have not all been printed, and if they're all like this, then i can see why, they're just plain ridiculous, and hilariously splashable. i want more!

I wasn't denying Sephylon was good, I was saying it's a surprise we're seeing the others printed after this long.

Not to mention the reflection on his face is a little different in the IRL version.

At that point you're literally being nitpicky for sake of being nitpicky

Actually with the new rules Time lords could be a serious deck. Gimme

Definitely not.

Card is basically same as Metaion--amusing side card for certain formats/situations.

Definitely not YET. Once we get Michion, Raphion, Tzaphion, and maybe Sandaion, they'll have potential. Assuming they're not nerfed too poorly.

If nothing else, Razion the "It's-about-time" Lord gives rank 10 trains another toy to play with. Only, this toy messes with the Grave (so RIP Burning Abyss and PK), does what Lightshower does but worse and bounces itself back.

Razion looks pretty good though, and because Konami realizes that a good anime card was made we're probably going to see the next Timelord in about 100 years, 50 if we're lucky.
