SideTracker
Hi! Although I'm new to this community id just want to make cool interesting cards like everyone else.So I'm not gonna repeat what other curators have said but i do expect people to follow the community rules and guidelines as well as respect other members and their opinions. In any case I'm here to pitch you an idea, even if it's not new/original it's one i intend to work on and develop to turn into a full Deck. I call it the "Susanoo Deck", based on the Susanoo summon from Naruto this deck revolves around the ritual summoning of the titular "Susanoo" and it's various "tiers/stages/evolutions" as well as drawing many a field spell and equip spell cards to support it, many life LP replenishing spell cards and tokens and lower level monsters to supplement the Susanoo with a nice handful of protections for it and it's support cards. The Susanoo it self has 4 steps, all with different abilities and stats as well as purposes and play styles that give the player variety and flexibility during a duel. To give you a general idea of the theme I'm going for the early stages of the Susanoo, as in the first two stages, focus on the defense of the Susanoo and the player with the first stage having no ATK points and having effects to help it build up it's offensive potential as well as a bit of it's defensive points, the second stage having support cards that give it a way to go on the offensive relatively efficiently. The last two stages of the Susanoo have each great leaps in ATK points and potential as well as effects but each coming at an increasing ritual summoning cost. Here bellow I'll present you the various stages of the Susanoo cards all still in development.2 - Skeleton Susanoo3- Armoured Susanoo5- Perfect Susanoo6- Divine SusanooNow bellow I'm going to present to you one of the finished forms of the Susanoo. The 5th one , Perfect Susanoo.Name : Perfect SusanooLevel : 10Attribute : LightType : Fairy / Ritual / EffectATK : 4000 DEF : 4000Description :This card can't be special summoned/set. This card's Ritual summon can't be negated. To ritual summon this card the player must activate "Eternal Mangekyo Seel" while already having "Humanoid Susanoo" and "Mangekyo Field" on the field.*This card negates any Monster card effects that directly target the player.*Tribute 1/4 LP to negate all Trap/Spell cards on the opponent’s field during your attack phase. Fruiota_Hiroshi
Don't you mean it can be Special Summoned except by Ritual Summon? (Also, Ritual Monsters can't be Normal Summoned/Set, so that shouldn't be an issue that you need to address.) "Ethereal" isn't a type in the current game. Maybe you could go for something along the lines of Warrior, Spellcaster, or Fairy, considering it's based on a Susanoo. Overall, it's a really powerful card, but its Summoning condition is a bit confusing. You're allowed to add a corresponding Ritual Spell to a post that has a Ritual Monster, so I suggest you make it and post it in this topic. Flash Flyer - Sakura
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Eternal Mangekyo Seal". Must be Ritual Summoned while you control "Humanoid Susano'o" and 'Mangekyo Field" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's Ritual Summon cannot be negated. Monster effects that would target the player are negated. You can pay 1/4 of your LP; Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls have their effects negated until the end of your Battle Phase this turn. (Italicized is iffy right now; do you mean stuff like burn damage or having to discard cards or something?) ====But yeah, stuff of note:Ethereal isn't an actual monster Type, so it has been shifted to Experimental Cards.Ritual Spell, along with the other two cards in question do not exist right now. Going to be kind of hard to grade how it can be summoned, especially since you can't use Sprite's Blessing (generic LIGHT Ritual Spell Card).S/T negation is fine, but the LP cost is awkward. (Usually it's a set amount or half)

You can Ritual Summon this card by tributing 3 "Susanoo Weapon" Equipment Spell Cards. Must be Ritual Summoned while you control "Humanoid Susanoo" and 'Mangekyo Field" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's Ritual Summon cannot be negated. Monster effects that would target the player are negated. You can pay 500 of your LP to negate the effects of Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls until the end of your turn’s Battle Phase. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Equip Spells cannot be Tributed for Ritual Spell Cards; though if the weapons themselves are treated as monsters, then you could probably do it. If you want to go this route, you're probably better off making this a standard Effect Monster (and can just send the cards to the Graveyard without going into unexplored territory that we have no definite rulings for). Would require much less effort.
