The Spanish card is:

Approach of the Second Sun 6W

Sorcery

If you cast ~ from your hand and you cast another spell named ~ this game, you win the game. Otherwise, you gain 7 life and put ~ into its owner’s library just beneath the top seven cards.

So there we have it - a couple of standard staples, a few janky win-mores, and one alternate wincon. Thoughts on the set, now that we're halfway through spoiling it?

Even though this is the way point for spoilers they've handled it VERY differently from the past ones. We might have 8 mythics, but they are still holding 3 gods and very likely a 3rd planeswalker so we still have a lot of major cards to come. The limited for the set seems very much what I want to do when I play magic so I'm excited for it. How standard will be shaken up remains to be seen. Don't think I have a ton of cards for my many commander lists, but I'm still excited for a handful.

On that note, I've been in VERY bad need of an actual win-con in my Hanna build and I think Approach of the Second Sun fits the bill, even if it is super slow. Worth testing at the very least.

Angel seems ok. Fiend Hunter creatures are better at lower CMCs, though being able to embalm it is cool.

Perspectives is interesting. Seems insane with a Brago EDH deck.

I've been having issues telling which cards are mythic and which are rare since at a glance the coloring is similar for me. I though Cruel Reality was a rare and am now very disappoint that it is in fact a mythic. And only just this second noticed it is in fact a curse. I had thought it affected all your opponents like Sheoldred and Solemn Visitor's emblem. I mean, the effect is strong, but it costs way too much for standard and is way to slow for EDH. This is terrible and I know I'm going to end up opening several.

Bounty seems neat, but I don't think its all that good.

Overall a disappointing batch of spoilers.

Got one more for y'all.

@Flame Dragon: Yeah, idk what the deal is with Cruel Reality. It almost feels like they weren't sure how strong it'd be in development so they shoved the mana cost really far up in compensation. At least it's not gonna be a mythic that's a 4-of in every Standard deck, though.

Very minor flavor plus: If you cast As Foretold and Approach of the Second Sun on the same turn, by the time you draw Approach again, you'll be able to cast it for free.

Its only 10 mana and 7 turns! How could this combo possibly fail!

Second sun is a cool card but the mana cost is a huge downside. Overall, most of the uncommons and commons are looking better than the rares and mythics we've seen so far. This is good for limited but it definitely feels bad opening packs when most of the rares are unplayable.

In EDH Approach's cost won't matter.

Standard, it's possible we may see it played, in an Oracle's Vault deck. Obviously you can't Oracle's Vault into it to win with the second cast, but it can cast it the first time and help dig to it the second time, all the while casting ramp artifacts or Bounty of the Luxa, along with probably As Foretold for other spells. Maybe even Tamiyo, Field Researcher. At worst she blocks some swings out of fear of the best: ulting her.

It'll be gimmicky as all hell, and has every chance of being awful, but I don't think its out of the question entirely.

literally nothing from this set excites me thus far. all it seems to show is rnd's lack of ability to design good blue cards.

You just made Saheeli Rai and Torrential Gearhulk sad.

Though on a serious note, Kefnet looks like he can be very good if a control type blue deck ends up working out.
