[Written] Gearfried Support!

[Kid Gambino]

Hey everyone, Kid Gambino back at it again (Damn, Daniel!) with more custom-created cards! Now, with my previous custom cards being Flame Swordsmen and a Jinzo/Red-Eyes Fusion monster, you'd probably think I have some weird obsession with Joey Wheeler... truth be told, it's not the character that I really fancy, but the awesome cards that he used that I grew up idolizing and utilizing in decks a lot during my youth. Well, just like Jinzo and Red-Eyes Black Dragon, another card I remember vividly holding close to my heart as a young duelist was the Gearfried monsters (and Warrior-Types in general!). Since the game has evolved far beyond cards like Gearfried the Iron Knight/Swordsmaster ever being remotely close to seeing competitive (or even casual) play, I thought I'd go ahead and create my own fantasy cards to give the oldies a new shot at taking on the meta! So, without further ado, here is a list of cards that I created that I believe would be excellent ideas to making the Gearfried archetype great again... I'll continue to update this thread with more ideas in the future, so please do not be afraid to criticize them as they come. Thanks!

Equip Spell

Equip only to a Warrior-Type monster. When this card is equipped to a monster: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target. The equipped monster and this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by other card effects.

 

Sword of Greed

Equip Spell

Activate this card by sending 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard. The equipped monster gains 600 ATK. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: Draw 2 cards.

 

Wartorn Battlefield

Equip Spell

All Warrior-Type monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn, when a Warrior-Type monster you control is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Equip Spell Card in either player's Graveyard; add the targeted card to your hand.
