I dunno about Spellbooks, but generically this treads on the same ground as Wonder Wand with the downside of not giving the 800 ATK, but the bonus of being more practically searchable.

Inb4 Psyframes use this + Spellbook Prophesy Magician as a better draw engine than Cardcar D.

And sending from the hand, Wonder Wand suffers from MST as well. There's no reason to use it with this card being a thing, 800 is super small compared to what this card can do for you.

I know. It's just in both cases you'll (probably) be attacking with the monster before sacking it, so 800 might mean something in the case of that battle. Don't get me wrong, this is much better in the ways that matter, I was simply comparing it to its closest kin.

Also, sending from hand looks Spellbook-specific. I was looking at it from a more generic standpoint.

so this + master is a +1. and considering both this and master are searchable, there's little doubt that you can pull this off consistently. combined with things like eternity, tower (after some grave setup), starhall (after spell counter buildup) and secrets, spellbooks can basically get to any card in the deck at just about any time in the duel. this is something i've been waiting for. after judgment was banned (and powercreep over the years), spellbooks had some trouble building power consistently. this looks like it'll be a good fix to that.

This card has a hard OPT clause though, unlike Wonder Wand, and that can be an issue when drawn in multiples. You can always play both for more speed, too.

Also, it makes an interesting draw engine along Spellbook Magician of Prophecy.

In which cases will you ever be able to (and want to) pull off 2 Wonder Wand anyway? Plus, Spellbook has a card that copies effects doesn't it? So that fixed that problem.

Well, you play the 2 copies for the draw power if you also happen to have Spellcasters on the field to Tribute for both; or be silly and combo it with Trick Clown, or Aleister + Seraphinite on board xD

And although Master can copy it, that card is difficult to splash in due to requiring a Spellbook in hand to activate.

Seraphinite is a fairy

I know it would be terrible, but it'd be funny to use this + Spellbook Magician of Prophecy as a draw engine in Paleozoics, since the Magician is level 2 for Xyz plays and a WATER for discarding with Swap Frog. Plus, it'd mean that you were running Paleozoic Spellbooks.

Uh, I implied Normal Summoning Aleister, send it to grave with Wonder Wand #1, banish it for an Invoked Fusion, grab it back with Invokation's grave effect, and Normal Summon it again, then use Wonder Wand #2 on it.

Given you want to make a +1 off this card, you'd either have to send something that acts as a +1 on summon (Invoked), or something that acts as a +1 when sent to the grave (Witch/Shaddolls)

Downside is cards like Draident and Master Peace which can CL2 destroy your card making you suffer a net neg 1.

Personally, outside of books, I'd be very hesitant to use this card

spellbook shaddolls might actually be a rather strong build with this card. it gives you an extra + off of just about every base monster, the spellbook cards help your maindeck shaddolls hit harder than average, and could also protect your winda from unexpected removal, and the shaddoll fusions in general (especially winda) could help spellbooks with their less than stellar BP capabilities. and spellbook decks rarely need to special summon multiple times, so they could make a lot more out of winda than other deck combinations.

Could work, might as well auto scoop to Imperial order though.

The idea is a cool for a couple of reasons.

>Searchable God Removal in the form of fate

>Easier Trish (Blue+Falco+LV5)

>Easier Draw Power

>Searchable Reborn (Life)

The problems it runs into is mainly deck space and the contested normal.

Normal Dolls are gonna run some combination of Math and Armageddon w/ techs of Monk maybe

Now you have to factor in Blue-Boy

I'd be fascinated if someone gets a build however

While i have both decks built separately atm, i don't feel like fully testing it out. but imo, spellbooks should be the main focus of the deck, with shaddolls as the secondary. spellbooks definitely need a lot of room to play, but shadolls still do pretty well when they're the sub engine. 2 dragon, 3 beast, 2 falcon, 2 hedgehog, 1 core, and 2-3 fusions total, would be 12-13 cards, the other 25 (if not using a grass build) would be focused around spellbooks and a few other spellcasters (maybe a lyla or even a breaker) to handle any imperial orders.

I was thinking Temperance could be a really neat idea due to Beast and DMoC. Deck would focus more on El plays than SDF, which might be a good thing post Ash.

Allure?
