Come one, come all!  Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, creepers and zombies!  Welcome, to Dreamscape 3.0 (under original management)!

 

Started some seven years ago, by Minecraft Player KamakazeeWorm, we've returned with a brand new, official, and dedicated server.  

 

About the Server

 

This is a PVE, Survival Creative server.

 

Well, Dad, what does that mean?

 

I'm glad you asked!  PVE is player(s) versus environment.  This is sort of the base game of Minecraft, placing players against mobs and monsters instead of other players.  This means that PVP (player versus player) is not currently enabled.

 

Well, what if I wanted to fight another player?

 

Another excellent question.  We are actually looking to install an arena mod later if PVP is requested and becomes popular.  I'd be happy to answer more questions about this later.

 

So, what is Survival Creative?  Aren't they two different things?'

 

In this case, yes and no.  Survival mode is the default mode for all players.  We still want you to explore, mine, adventure, and play the game after all!  Creative is an optional game mode that--should you be a dedicated player who is active and trusted--can be earned, for ease of building and perks!

 

In addition, though you are in survival mode, you have a lot of freedom of creation.  With the ability to claim land through Factions, you can come together as a team and establish yourself rather quickly on the server.  Furthermore, claimed land is protected from griefing.  

 

What type of community is Dreamscape?

 

The Dreamscape community is a mostly mature bunch.  Players average age 25 or older.  We're looking for like minded, mature players who want to play together.  We'd prefer you be 18 years of age or older, but everyone is welcome.  

 

We also have a linked Discord where players can chat in voice and meet other server residents.

 

(No infants please.  We don't have insurance.)

 

That's kind of intimidating.  What if I'm shy?

 

That's okay too.  You don't have to jump into voice chat right away.  In fact, you don't have to at all.  It's totally optional.  But if and when you're ready to introduce yourself, we'd be happy to have you.

 

Sounds good.  Are there any interesting plug-ins or events on the server?

 

There are quite a few events already being planned!  They range from server wide boss runs, to unique dungeons, scavenger hunts, and more!  There's also going to be a regular special event featuring yours truly!

 

Below, I've included the list of plug-ins currently on the server.  If you're unfamiliar with any of them, I'll do my best to answer any questions I can.  

 

Disclaimer: Worm installed all of these mods.  I have no clue what any of them do besides World Guard.  Good luck.

I would love to play more but my MC time is already taken up by 2 different servers :/

 

However I'm going to try playing as a complete pacifist. Never done that before on a server.
