[spoiler=The Mission]in 1952, Slade Wilson (who is 21 years old at the time) is taken out of his unit and assigned to a secret United States task force. This task force is created with the sole goal of assassinating North Korean Premier Kim Il-sung in the hopes of destabilizing the Communist nation. The Task Force, dubbed the PKS (Premier Kill Squad) consists of four individual American soldiers:

Slade Wilson

John Vager

Louis "Yager" Socket

Barry Condol

After four months of training, the team is secretly dropped inside North Korea. All goes well at first, to the point that the team eventually makes it inside Kim Il-sung's personal complex. Things go bad when Slade accidentally wakes up Sung and his son Kim Jong-il from their bed during his assassination attempt. Slade hesitates from firing at Il-sung, not wanting to traumatize the young boy next to him. This mistake costs them the mission, as the security forces storm inside and open fire on Slade and his team. In their ensuing escape, Yager stays back to hold the forces off and give his teammates time to escape. Slade, Barry, and John escape; leaving Yager behind. The guilt from the incident causes Slade to develop an irrational hatred of Communism, and the Kim dynasty in general.

Fast forward to 1965, after the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, LBJ establishes a secret soldier force dubbed "The Musketeers" consisting of Slade, John, and Barry to go into North Vietnam and assassinate designated targets. The three soldiers are put into a super-soldier program and they are brutal in the destruction they cause throughout North Vietnam and significantly weaken the Viet Cong forces. Despite this, even they aren't enough to stop the Viet Cong's victory, and in 1975, Nixon disbands The Musketeers. The three members eventually go their separate ways. Slade Wilson becomes Deathstroke, Barry becomes a respected Senator from North Carolina, and John opens up a Tiki Bar in Key West, Florida.

Fast forward again to 1995. Slade gets an unexpected call from Barry. Barry informs Slade that John was murdered in his apartment. He then goes on to state that General Packer Richmond, the original designer of the PKS, was found dead at the hospital, his life support mysteriously cut. Barry feels that someone is killing anybody associated with the PKS mission back in '52. Worried for the safety of his friend, Slade tells him to go home and wait for him.

Slade arrives at Barry's North Carolina house too late. The entire house is on fire, and Barry and his family are found dead on the front lawn. Looking at their bodies, he finds they were killed execution style. Slade immediately feels the US Government is trying to cover up the '52 mission. He contacts and old partner within the FBI, but this contact tells him even the Government is worried about the situation. Realizing he is probably next, Slade holes up in one of his safehouses, ready to fight. Lo' and behold, his assassin makes his appearance, but Slade is shocked to find that his assassin is Yager.

After Yager was left behind, the North Korean forces capture and torture him relentlessly. They then begin a brainwashing operation that results in Yager becoming an assassin for the North Korean Military. He is so successful in his missions that they dub him "The Ravager". The elimination of the PKS members is done as Kim Jong-il's revenge on them for the attempted assassination of his father. Slade and Yager get into a massive bout, but Yager is hit straight in the chest by a RPG grenade launched by Slade. Realizing that his past has come to haunt him, Slade decides to rectify the mistake he made decades ago.

Utilizing a contact within Asia, Slade is able to sneak into North Korea again, with the intent of assassinating Kim Jong-il. Everything goes well, and Slade sneaks into Jong-il's bedroom after killing his two guards. Speaking in Korean, Slade tells Kim Jong-il he should've just killed the father and the son that night in 1952. Kim says that he never forgot that night, and wanted badly to get revenge on the people who instigated the failed assassination. He chides Slade for being just as hesitant as he was the other night decades before, seeing as how Slade has not fired a bullet yet. Slade realizes Jong-il is stalling for some reason. He then pulls the trigger, but another soldier jumps in front of Jong-il, taking the bullet to his right shoulder. Jong-il then reveals a pistol from his back pocket and shoots Slade in the chest. Having failed a second time, Slade escapes North Korea again, vowing to one day avenge his comrades.

[spoiler=Waynes and Trumps]In a flashback, a young Bruce Wayne is introduced by his father to a young Donald Trump. Trump gives Bruce a necklace with a pendant of a heart that opens to reveal a gold marble inside. Bruce asks why that is, and Trump tells him it is because Bruce has a heart that looks normal, but on the inside, is made of gold. Years later, after Thomas and Martha's murder, Trump appears to Bruce again at their funeral. Bruce asks Trump why his parent shad to die, and Trump tells Bruce he can't answer that question. When Bruce asks why, Trump says it is because life isn't that simple. It is then revealed that Trump is one of the few people who know Bruce is the Batman.

Fast forward to February, 2017. Trump is at the White House late at night when he get's a random late night visit by the Batman. Knowing it is Bruce, Trump thanks Bruce for coming to him "As the real Bruce Wayne, not the one you pretend to be." Bruce congratulates Trump on winning the election, but warns that Trump's campaign remarks have made him a target. Trump acknowledges this, and admits that he has dealt with anger issues that he has trouble controlling, but states that it will not affect his ability to govern the United States. He asks Bruce if the Batman will be his enemy; Bruce then pulls something out of his pocket, revealing it to be the pendant Trump gave him when he was young. Bruce smiles and then says "You tell me."

A month later, and enraged Superman creates a media spectacle as he publicly criticizes Trump on National Television. Superman regards Trump as a racist, misogynist bigot unfit to be president. Trump makes twitter remarks claiming Superman is trying to influence elections. At the League headquarters, Batman berates Superman for causing a public spectacle. Superman states that, as a supporter of Justice, he must oppose all forms of tyranny, even in his home country. Batman states that Superman has no evidence to prove Trump is being "tyrannical". Superman references Trump's earlier campaign statements. Batman says that all candidates in US elections say things they don't mean when they actually get elected, and wonders why Superman was so reluctant to call out Hillary for her baseless claims and remarks on the same level as Trump. The argument divides the League. With many worried that the conflict may boil over into the League itself.

on April 4, at the height of the Syrian Civil War, the Assad coalition unleash a chemical attack on rebels in Khan Shaykhun. The devastation alarms governments all over the world. Despite Assad's claims of innocence, evidence reveals that Assad's government was responsible for the attack. The League conducts relief efforts within that town, pulling victims out of the chemical affected areas and bringing them to the League's central hub to recover. Three days later, in response to this violation of the Geneva Convention and the UN, Trump launches a missile strike on Assad's airbase. Russia immediately condemns the attack, but the United Kingdom supports it. Superman is furious, and storms into Oval Office against League regulations. He claims Trump is instigating war, and hurting innocent lives in the process, including his own League members. Trump fires back, saying Superman has caused more devastation than this missile strike did. Trump then shows Superman the pictures of victims of the chemical attack. Disgusted, Superman berates Trump for attempting to force sympathy using these photographs and storms out, saying that the League will not stand for this.

[spoiler=A League Divided]Back at the League, Batman confronts Superman for violating League regulations and entering a Government facility without prior announcement. Superman states that it was necessary, Batman retorts that it will be treated as an act of aggression by the US government, damaging the relations between the US and the League. Superman states that Trump's missile strike was reprehensible, but Batman states it had reason, and that if the US didn't do it, somebody would. Superman states Batman has lost his spine, Batman says Superman lost his brain. The resulting argument ends with both Superman and Batman storming out of the Hall of Justice. Leaving the other founders to debate the situation.

Wonder Woman takes Superman's side, stating the League can't just let the missile strike slide. The Flash counters, saying that it was in response to a specific violation of the Geneva Convention, and that Trump's hands were tied. Cyborg states that Trump deliberately attacked knowing there were still league members on the ground in Syria, but Green Lantern says that Trump was informed that League members would be out of Syria completely by the 6th of April, saying those who stayed did so against the orders of their superiors. J'onn (Martian Manhunter) is mixed, stating that a similar situation happened on his home planet, but that his planet was consumed before the conflict could be resolved. He states that neither party can play innocent, but states Batman is showing a suspicious amount of bias towards Trump; a fact that concerns him. Aquaman acknowledges this as well, but says Superman is incredibly biased as well, referencing the fact that Superman attended one of Martin O'Malley's rallies, then met with Hillary Clinton without telling any other League members until her nomination. When asked by The Flash how Atlantis shall treat the situation, Aquaman states that Atlantis will remain neutral.

[spoiler=Assad non grata]Batman returns to the Batcave and begins to investigate the chemical attacks. Through research, he discovers that Assad was winning the Civil War. This confuses Batman, who wonders why Assad would risk international scrutiny if he was winning. Batman then gets in the Batwing, intent on going to Syria himself to establish why this happened. Superman heads to Russia, intent on repairing the damaged relations between Putin and America. With the two primary League Members gone, J'onn and Green Lantern take over leadership duties in their stead.

In Syria, Bruce hides in small, empty huts, during the day, and wanders Syria as the Batman during the night. During the investigation, he finds that former Assad aides were suddenly kicked out of power and replaced with new, more radical ones, about a year ago. Finding the area where many of those aides are in hiding, Batman questions them. They tell Batman that, about a year ago, Assad's personality radically changed. He became more aggressive and reckless in his decision making, and then fired anybody who questioned his new policies.

In Russia, Superman talks with Putin about repairing relations between Russia and the US. While Putin admires Superman's spirit and dedication to peace, Putin states that an act like this cannot be ignored and that Syria is a valuable ally. Superman mentions the chemical attack, stating that the Assad coalition is clearly at fault. Putin admits this, but says he doubts Assad himself had anything to do with it. He then tells Superman that, about a year ago, Assad began to communicate with Russia less frequently than he used to. When he did contact Putin, his speech and mannerisms seemed out of his ordinary routine. Putin then tells Superman he began to investigate Assad's public appearances, and then realized that even his hand movements were off. After showing Superman the tapes comparing Assad now to Assad a year go, Superman wonders why this would be the case. Putin says that Syria has gone dark as of late, and he is getting no feedback on what is going on, leaving Putin in a tough situation. Suddenly Superman gets an idea. he thanks Putin for seeing him, and then rushes back to America.

As Alfred is cleaning Wayne Manor, he sees Superman out of the front gate. Batgirl immediately rushes to the gate to ask why he is here. Superman asks Batgirl where Bruce is. She replies that Batman went to Syria to investigate the origins of the chemical attack. Superman then asks Batgirl to accompany him to Arkham Asylum, as he has a hunch as to what is going on. Excited to work with Superman, she agrees.

[spoiler=Problem after Problem]Tensions mount further as North Korea begins to make aggressive remarks towards the US and its allies. Trump pressures China into helping with the situation, but it does not deter the communist country. Green Lantern appeals to the South Korean government to increase their defenses, and volunteers some members of the Green Lantern Corps. themselves to bolster defense in the event North Korea launches missiles towards South Korea. Wonder Woman meets with Xi Jinping about North Korea. Jinping says he has no idea why North Korea is suddenly making such bold statements now, but claims that Kim Jong-un is refusing to listen to reason. Wonder Woman deduces that the North Korea and Syria situations happening so close to each other is not coincidence, and deduces some other force is behind these events.

At Arkham Asylum, Superman and Batgirl talk to a security guard handling patient records. Superman asks where the Joker's cell is. The guard states that the Joker broke out of Arkham a year ago. A shocked Batgirl asks why the Asylum did not contact Batman when it happened. The guard states that the warden ordered security not to give out information to Batman willy nilly, as it was endangering the reputation of the asylum itself in associating with a vigilante. Batgirl says that the warden and Batman came to a mutual understanding after Killer Croc escaped the Asylum three years prior. Superman then demands to see the warden, but the guard says the warden changed policies and no longer allows visitors from anybody unless he says so. Superman, realizing something is off, berates the security guard for his ignorance and rushes to the warden's office. Opening it, they find it empty. Batgirl investigates the room, and is shocked when she finds the decaying corpse of the warden stuffed in a closet in the office. After investigation, she deduces the body had been dead for at least a year. Superman tells Batgirl to call Nightwing and have them head to Syria, he says that Batman is in danger.

[spoiler=The Real Assad]Back in Syria, Batman infiltrates Assad's compound in order to personally interrogate him for answers.  After blocking communications and knocking out his security, Batman sneaks into Assad's bedroom. However, he is then quickly knocked unconscious by an unseen force. Batman then wakes up in an empty room tied to a chair with a ceiling lamp hanging above his head.  In the room, Assad is the only other person with Batman. He interrogates Batman, asking him what he knows and why he is here. Batman responds with more questions. He asks why Assad would suddenly oust his former supporters for new radicals, and why Assad would suddenly launch a chemical attack, knowing full well that it would bring the wrath of the UN upon him, even though he was winning the Syrian Civil War. Batman then claims that Assad is an impostor. Assad asks how Batman would know to which Batman says that a noted villain he knew had a habit of forgetting to change his body temperature when he disguised himself as other people. He then outs this Assad as Clayface, to which Assad reverts to his Clayface form.

Batman asks why Clayface went all the way to Syria and disguised himself as Assad just to kill a town of civilians. Clayface states that the chemical attack was not the end goal. Clayface says that the most important thing an actor can do to his audience, is get a desired emotion out of them through his performance. He says that, forcing Trump to emotionally react to his chemical attack with a missile strike, was one of his greatest achievements as a performer. Batman states that Trump reacted to the attack itself, not Clayface's performance, to which Clayface says that the attack was the performance and that the victims were simply props in the overall play. Clayface recounts how, a year ago, he and the Joker came up with a plan to escape Arkham Asylum. Clayface pretended to be a security guard locked in the cell instead of Clayface. When the guard opened the cell, Clayface killed the guard and hid the guard's body within a broken piece of the wall that he made. Clayface then killed the warden and disguised himself as him in order to open the Joker's cell. The Joker then caused a riot, so that the focus would be taken away from Clayface. This riot allowed Clayface to enact new rules as the warden, in which Arkham would cut off contact with the Batman, making discovery of his escape hidden for the time being.

When Batman asks where the Joker went, Clayface states that he and Joker went their separate ways after the escape, and that he has no idea where the Joker is now. Clayface says he was wandering Paris after his escape when he met a young man who new of his true identity as Clayface. The man looked human, but had noticeable cybernetic parts that were not well disguised. The man offered Clayface the chance to perform his greatest act ever, and Clayface agreed. Clayface adds that it was the man who killed Assad, not him.

Suddenly, explosions and gunfire are heard outside of Assad's compound. Superman, Nightwing, and Batgirl launch a surprise attack on the compound in order to rescue Batman. When Clayface asks aloud how they found this compound so quickly. Batman states that Clayface's #1 fault was that he "could never shut up long enough to notice when I am activating a distress signal". As the three enter the basement, Superman battles Clayface as Nightwing and Batgirl untie Batman and help him to the Batwing. As Clayface attempts to envelop Superman, Superman uses his heat vision to harden clayface and freeze him in place. Unable to move, Clayface is defeated.

[spoiler=The Ravager]Despite saving him from the compound, Batman is still angered at Superman. He chides Nightwing and Batgirl for recklessly following Superman and leaving Gotham unprotected. Superman defends them, saying that it was his idea and that he shouldn't take it out on them. Batman says that Superman has his his own team to monitor and that he should stick to them, and leave his team out of it.

At the White House, Trump commences an emergency meeting over the situation in North Korea. At the Hall of Justice Wonder Woman briefs the League Founders on China's situation in the North Korean conflict. Batman posits that North Korea's actions may be involved with whomever motivated Clayface to play Assad and launch the chemical attack. After giving the League Clayface's description of the man, Superman notices it sounds eerily similar to Metallo. Cyborg agrees, but The Flash isn't convinced. He points out that Metallo is still in the Metropolis High Security Prison. Given the breakout situation in Arkham Asylum, Superman and Cyborg decide to go to the MHSP to make sure Metallo is still there.

At a safehouse in Azerbaijan, Deathstroke is loading numerous weapons. Realizing that North Korea's Day of the Sun is approaching, Deathstroke feels now is a better time than ever to try a third time to assassinate the leader of North Korea. This time, the victim would be Kim Jong-un. On the Day of the Sun, North Korea hosts massive parades and diverts most of the military to their public show of aggression. With this in mind, Deathstroke will enter during the day, while guards are being used elsewhere, to sneak into the country.

At the MHSP, Superman and Cyborg visit Metallo, who is still imprisoned. Metallo is surprised, and remarks that this is the second visit he has gotten this week. Superman asks who the first visit was, and Metallo replies it was a cybernetically enhanced human, like Cyborg, who covered up his machine parts with fake skin, asking where Metallo kept his secret stash of Kryptonite. After stating he didn't have one, the visitor accused him of lying, but left almost as fast as he came. Almost immediately, Superman and Cyborg hear someone down the cell block calling their name. They walk down to the specific cell and find it is the Atomic Skull. Skull says he knows who the previous visitor was. He states that it was someone called "The Ravager" a hitman for North Korea that carried out deadly assassinations in the 70's, 80's, and mid-90's. Asked why The Ravager stopped killing in the mid-90's, Skull says there is a legend within the criminal underground that Deathstroke killed The Ravager. Skull says that, if anyone knew anything about The Ravager, it would most likely be him. Superman asks why Atomic Skull is so willing to give up this information. Skull replies that, before he became the Atomic Skull, he was an American Soldier working along the border of the 38th parallel. During that time, he was recalled back to America as they received "credible threats" on his life. At the time, many American soldiers, and any high ranking officer who worked in the North Korean border, were being picked off by an unknown assailant. Skull became paranoid, but it wasn't until he became the Atomic Skull that he heard about The Ravager. Despite being hidden in a maximum security prison, Skull still fears The Ravager will come back to finish him off, and wants the League to capture him so that he may finally find "inner peace". Unbeknownst to Cyborg and Superman, Batman is listening in on the conversation from afar, using a jammer and kryptonite coating to mask his presence from the two. After the conversation finishes, Batman gets on the Batwing, intent on finding Deathstroke for answers.

[spoiler=Breaking Point]Batman calls Alfred on the Batwing and asks Alfred to find any potential sightings of Deathstroke. He deduces that Deathstroke will be staying off the border of where his current job is. Alfred then pinpoints a recent assassination of a police chief in Azerbaijan, and says Deathstroke may be involved. Batman then asks Alfred to dig into Deathstroke's past, and try to find a connection between him and The Ravager.

Nightwing and Batgirl begin to search for The Joker around Gotham. After failing to find him, the two elect to find Harley Quinn, feeling he most likely went to her for protection. They reach Harley Quinn's recent hideout, but elect to sneak in and take her by surprise. While sneaking in, they are surprised to find her talking with a mysterious man in a trench coat, they are unable to see his face in the darkness however. Believing it to be the Joker, Nightwing and Batgirl spring into action, however, the mysterious man in the trenchcoat activates a portal surrounding him and Harley, and the two disappear into the portal. A shocked Batgirl and Nightwing immediately head to the Batcave to inform Batman.

Batman is given the residual files of Slade Wilson's American Military history. Batman is then briefed on everything, the PKS mission, the mission's failure, the Musketeers, and the murders of people associated with the PKS in 1995. Realizing Deathstroke intends to get revenge on North Korea, Batman veers his Batwing in the direction of North Korea, intending to stop Deathstroke from creating an international incident.

[spoiler=The Pillar]Batman sneaks into North Korea under the cover of darkness, not knowing that Deathstroke had infiltrated the country much earlier. As Batman is wandering the empty streets of Pyongyang, he is suddenly attacked by a mysterious figure. After fighting on even terms, the mysterious figure asks why Batman is here. Batman says he is here to save the leader of North Korea from a potential assassin, he then asks who his attacker is. Stepping into the light, the figure reveals himself to be a costumed warrior. He is clad in a Purple costume with a satin sash around his waist. His eyes beam a red light and his nostrils are the only holes in his mask.

The figure names himself as "The Pillar" and explains to the Batman that he had already fought this assailant earlier that day. Pillar was unable to catch Deathstroke and he escaped. Batman informs him of the situation and the Pillar says that, not only is he familiar with Deathstroke, but that Deathstroke may try to assassinate Jong-un tonight. The two forces runs straight for Kim's palace, worrying that they may be too late. When Batman asks Pillar how he knows Deathstroke, Pillar recounts his story.

Pillar was a young security officer for the North Korean military back in 1996. Because of his young, yet strong stature, he was a perfect poster boy for Kim Jong-il's security force, as Jong-il needed to make his security force look intimidating to the people. One night, Pillar was suddenly awakened by yelling coming from Jong-il's bedroom. Fearing the Supreme Leader may be in danger, Pillar rushed to Jong-il's bedroom to see an assailant pointing a pistol straight at Jong-il. Without thinking, Pillar rushed in front of Jong-il, and took a bullet to his right shoulder. The pain from the injury caused Pillar to fall unconscious.

Pillar awoke in a North Korean hospital, with Jong-il by his bedside. Jong-il proclaimed Pillar a hero to the people, and stated that he was forever in Pillar's debt. In the resulting years, Pillar gained considerable wealth and stature in the country. His family became one of the most powerful families in North Korea, and he became a close friend to Jong-il himself. However, Jong-il's son, Kim Jong-un, grew jealous of his father spending less time with him in favor of Pillar. When Jong-il died and Jong-un took power, Jong-un declared Pillar and his family traitors to the Peoples Republic. His wife and two children were publicly executed and Pillar was sent to a labor camp. Vowing revenge, he used the physical strain of working the labor camp as training for his muscles. When guards weren't looking, he was using his tools as training props. It wasn't long before he broke out of the labor camp.

Pillar escaped to his old home deep in North Korea. In that house, Pillar found old props and costumes from his father. One costume struck his attention. Pillar's father was a prolific film director in North Korea, who won considerable acclaim and favor from Kim Il-sung. However, not all of his father's films were made. One film in particular, "The Pillar" was designed to be a superhero film to motivate the North Korean people. The movie would star the vigilante The Pillar, who traveled the countryside hunting down American and South Korean spies for the good of the North Korean people. The film was never made, but Pillar felt the costume was fitting. He then became "The Pillar" and dedicated the rest of his life to fighting the injustice of Jong-un's regime.

After hearing his story, Batman asks why The Pillar is willing to defend Jong-un from Deathstroke. Pillar says that, although he hates Jong-un, his death would send North Korea into collapse. This would be bad for the people of North Korea, who would suffer as countries argue over who should control the country. This, The Pillar says, he cannot allow.

[spoiler=The Truth of the Matter]As Pillar and Batman enter the palace, they find numerous guards lying on the ground, their bodies littered with bullets and blade cuts. The two rush towards the palace and find Deathstroke in the center lobby of the palace. Deathstroke warns the two to backoff, as nothing will stop him from finishing what he started. Batman urges Slade to reconsider, reminding him that the Korean War is over and killing Jong-un will not bring his comrades back. Deathstroke claims that he knows the war is over, but Communism is not. Slade states that, when Jong-un dies, all of the countries will know of the atrocities that were committed by the North Korean regime against it's own people. This will be the smoking gun that creates new anti-Communist sentiment, reigniting the Cold War. Slade says he hates Communism, and will use this as an opportunity to finally rid himself of "this damn ideology of lies and death." Batman says that Slade is hypocritical for saying that, as Slade commits murder and espionage every day. Slade states that it was the Vietnam War that created Deathstroke, and that he, in turn, is a direct result of the spread of Communism and the need to combat it.

Having enough of the argument, Slade leaps at Pillar and Batman. Despite the 2v1 handicap, Slade is able to go toe to toe with both heroes. During the fight, Slade launches a stun device that immobilizes the batsuit. Unable to move, Batman is left lying helpless as Pillar and Slade go head to head. The fight is then stalled when another figure enters the lobby. Deathstroke is shocked to see it is Yager, now cybernetically enhanced. Batman realizes that The Ravager is here and Deathstroke and Pillar stop fighting and prepare themselves for a potential attack from the Ravager. The Ravager simply laughs and states that Kim Jong-un had been moved from the palace ahead of time, as Yager knew that Slade was coming. Slade shouts in frustration at having failed a third time. Batman takes the opportunity to try and speak to Yager's inner self. He pleads with Yager to abandon the mind control, but Yager says it is useless and that Yager died in 1995.

Slade asks what Yager is talking about, to which Yager explains that the body is Yager's, but the mind is actually Kim Jong-il's. After, Yager was heavily injured following the RPG attack, Kim Jong-il had agents rescue the burnt and disfigured corpse of Yager. Jong-il then had the body fitted with cybernetic enhancements, and had his scientist's create a "safehouse" for Jong-il's brain. Jong-il knew for a long time that he was ill, and that it was only a matter of time before his body could no longer fight it. In 2011, as he lay dying, he had his scientists remove his brain and have it placed in the newly enhanced Ravager body. Since 2011, Jong-il was still ruling North Korea, but because he did not want the public to see him this way, he used Jong-un as a puppet leader.

Slade screams at Jong-il for having the audacity to defile his partners body in such a way. Jong-il asks Slade what is actually worse, the fact Yager's body was used in such a way, or that Slade and his team abandoned Yager to this fate in the first place. Pillar removes his mask, showing his true face to Jong-il, and asks if Jong-il knew about what happened to him and his family. Jong-il states he was actually not responsible, and that his son made that order without his permission. Pillar is relieved to hear that his dear friend had nothing to do with it, and Jong-il embraces Pillar, acknowledging and apologizing for the pain that was brought onto him and his family as Pillar is driven to tears. Despite Pillar's unwavering loyalty, Jong-il states that his allegiance will always be to his son. Pillar looks up at the confusing statement and asks what Jong-il means, Jong-il then thrusts his arm straight through Pillar's stomach. Pillar drops to the floor, dead, as Batman looks on in horror and frustration.

I'm still writing other pieces of the story, I just want to post this right now in case a glitch deletes my progress or something.
